Description of Work: Mows the lawn every other week thru HOA.

Description of Work: Contracted to spread 3 trucks of dirt, lay sod, build retaining walls with steps, and a paver pad. The work was suppose to take two weeks. It took over 6 weeks. The retaining wall and paver pad look good, however the steps do not. They redid the steps three times and on the third time, said that was as good as they could get. The steps are not symmetrical and have gaps. The sod sat on pallets for days in hot August sun. When it was laid, it looked dead. I was told it would come back. I had to have four new pallets of sod the next year. Never did get the dirt. | |I think they may have been overwhelmed with work. They kept pulling guys from my job to work on other jobs.

Description of Work: Bays helped us to plan and install a memorial garden, complete with a brick-edged crushed concrete path, rows of poco carpus, rose bushes and Indian Hawthornes. The garden is beautiful, and Jim Bays went the extra mile to provide timely service and quality materials.

Description of Work: Contractor participated in Angie's List "Big Deal" promotion. In all fairness, the response of potential customers overwhelmed this local landscape contractor. However, he and I agreed that I would contact him in July (3-months after I purchased the "big deal" coupon). I phoned him in July, and "he" set a date to come to my home and talk with me about a landscape plan. He did not call, he did show up.

Description of Work: Remove weeded yard and put new sod in. Removed 3 bushes that were overgrown. Best price I was able to find and yard looks great.

Description of Work: We had them clear out a lot of under bush in our front yard along with some small trees in the front yard. They then cleared out about a 5 ft. arch in the backyard along with a dead 20 ft. pine tree. The 2 workers did a really good job and asked us what we wanted done. They also answered my questions. They were very professional along with the general manager, Matt, who came out originally to look over our property and give us an estimate.

Description of Work: Jim and his crew do our lawn on a weekly basis. Each week it looks fabulous. I have received complements from neighbors, and they are always envious! The crew is always friendly and extremely professional. Jimmy Bay is a true professional who always keeps his word, and does what he says he will do! Hard to find in anyone these days! He is hard working and will make sure you are satisfied!

Description of Work: OUTSTANDING WORK. Jim Bay and his phenomenal staff worked with us to put in some basic features in a newly purchased home with little landscaping in Fort Walton Beach. He took the time to work with our tight budget. First, he put in two greenscape hedges in the frontyard as screening. He, with the help of Randy and Mo, designed and installed a new patio area after first resolving a serious water drainage issue. An old cement partial pad was removed and a french drain installed with a drain box away from the house. A new patio of used pavers was beautifully installed. Four beds were made in the backyard which were outlined with pavers beautifully installed--a large rectangle garden area, two corner beds and one next to the house. A few foundation plants were planted so we could do the small plants ourselves. All of the work was performed in a careful, pleasant and professional manner. Even when some challenges were encountered, Jim went above and beyond to make things happen. He returns calls, asks and answers relevant questions and communicates with you. I would recommend Bay's Lawn and Landscape Management without reservation--not something I can usually do or have done very often.
