Description of Work: The company had done service on an old and inefficient system in the previous two years. When we decided to upgrade to a 16-seer or better system, we contacted 7 companies. We liked the representatives of each company and found compelling things supporting each company. Overall, however, St. Lucie Heating & Air provided: 1) the most information and the best clarity in explaining the "big picture" and supporting their recommendation (including explaining a corrective increase in the diameter of the refrigerant pipe as part of their estimate) ; 2) the highest seer unit in our range of interest (a 17 seer rating, two stage unit, with the largest P&L Rebate for any of the 7 estimates); 3) the lowest price of the seven (with a $3,000 range between the highest and lowest estimate; 4) completed installation with no extra costs; and 5) responded to and fixed two subsequent minor issues promptly, graciously, and, of course, with no extra charges. We very much appreciate the members of the company and have great confidence in them. They are attentive to and work hard at communication with the customer. We love how our system operates, and especially the dramatic decreases in our electric bill in the first two months, and long forward to comparing electric bills in the next year with bill for the same months in the previous two years of our residence in this home.

Description of Work: On phone. Joe car determined it was probably capacitor, service etc. Confirmed over the phone diagnosis part was replaced a/c returned in working condition in less than hour!
