Description of Work: I had to have AC replaced. Of course, the old one died over a three-day weekend, so they couldn't deliver and install until the Tuesday after. They did the install early on Tuesday, and were very professional and did an awesome job. Hauled away the old unit, etc. The new unit is fantastic, I did not realize how bad the previous AC was until this new one. My house actually gets below 79 in the hot summer!

Before I let him get too far into the conversation, I asked him if his company offered financing. It was as if a bell went off. He never came over and felt very confident that, even without seeing my home, he could give me a fair estimate. He did not have the time for him therefore I haven't the time for them-

Description of Work: I called Sea Coast to do a complete inspection and evaluation of our heating/cooling unit in our condo. After finding a leak and two future problems, my wife and I decided to replace the complete heating/ac unit. | |There was no high pressure from the first technician, the work was done quickly, and the care and professionalism of the Sea Coast employees was outstanding. They left our condo so clean you would never know they were there.

Description of Work: Installed a new heating and air system. One thing I wasn't very pleased over was their approach on how financing was to be done. The repairman who informed me that I needed a new unit, then became the salesman and explained that the finance process was a very simple one. He asked me to sign a paper to give him consent to run my credit, which I did and later learned that it was an application for a Wells Fargo Home Projects credit card. With a maximum interest rate of 28%. All of that was not explained up front. Luckily for me, I have excellent credit and got a much lower interest rate that I am comfortable with. I fear thou that others may be rushed into a similar situation, but with a worse outcome. Just be careful of what you sign. Then second, a week later I called them back out cause my heater would not turn on. The repairman said I had a short in the wiring, and that I would be responsible for paying for his services to fix it. I grew horns and told him there was no way I was going to pay for repair work on a brand new system. He went out to his truck and later came back in saying there was a misunderstanding, and that there would be no charge. As of 4 months later, I have had no further problems, but I have to admit that I may be hesitant to call them again.

Description of Work: Seacoast came out and did a thorough inspection of our home, and recommended the best unit. After installation, we had a question, and they provided a prompt service call at no charge. They spent a lot of time with us answering all of our questions.
