+ -1 moreI spoke with Nick on February 2nd regarding a new pool design. We scheduled a Sat 3:30 PM meeting at the property to scope out a design. I went through a great deal of trouble getting the survey of the property for the meeting, however Nick never showed for the meeting. Nick never extended a common courtesy to called saying he could not attend. My family rescheduled our entire day around this meeting.

+ -1 moreokay. The entire project is still not finished. Contract was signed on September 10, 2016. Broke ground on October 27, 2016. Service and responsive ness was slow.

+ -1 moreOur pool was built by Louden Pools in 2012. They worked with us from the beginning to incorporate our ideas onto the design, down to the smallest details. We were very pleased with the quality of the pool, the professionalism of the employees and the follow-up after the pool was complete. The emphasis on delivering a quality pool is shared by the employees at all levels. Most have been with Louden for many years and the craftsmen who worked on our pool arrived on time, were respectful of our property and cleaned up before they left each day. We had a wonderful experience working with Louden to add new living space to our home.

Description of Work: Let me start off by stating that the salesman and installation crews were excellent. My problem is with service afterwards. Just less than one year after my new pool was installed, I had a problem with my pump. It was not working. I called to request service. My call was transferred to a "guy in the back" who was to handle my service issue. I explained that my pump was not working and it was less than one year old. I was told that since there was a storm the day before, it "must have been hit by lightening". No one would come and look at my pool. The problem was diagnosed over the phone by Mr Grumpy in the back. I contacted the manager and described my experience with the guy in the back. Her response was that she would speak to him, but nobody was coming to look at my pool. I had to hire a different contractor to handle the issue. Yes it was repaired by my own contractor, but since louden refused to come and even look at it, they deserve an F for service! What prompted me to really write this complaint is the fact that in 8/12, my neighbor got an estimate from louden for a new pool. After receiving his estimate, I mentioned to him my experience with louden. He told louden that he spoke to me and had concerns about using them for his pool. Robin, the representative lied to him directly (based on what my neighbor reported to me).He said that she told him that my pool was struck by lightening. She stated I had spoken to her company and agreed it was a lightening issue that was not covered under warranty and the issue was resolved. 1 - I never spoke to anyone and agreed my pool was struck by lightening (lie) 2 - I was left with a pool pump that was not working - despite the reason for it not working someone should have come to service it. They refused. 3 - My pool must be really special, because it has been "struck by lightening" three more times in the past year! Really? It is obviuosly some defect in the wiring, but they have no interest in servicing their product after the fact. Or maybe they just dont want to deal with warranty issues. Either way it is lousey business. My neighbor will not be using louden pools!
