I have given 2 stars because the purchase was wonderful. The team in Ft Pierce was so helpful, answering all questions and just a great experience. Not so much for the service department. The dishwasher had problems almost from the beginning. Chris did come out numerous times and tried to fix it but the issue persisted. The last time he came out, he was extremely upset and stated that he did not get paid until the dishwasher was repaired. He was very angry and refused to work on it while I watched. I left the room and a few minutes later, he called me into the kitchen and stated it was infested with German Roaches. As I had never seen a roach, I questioned this but he stated this voided my warranty and there was nothing else that could be done. I contacted Truly Nolan who came out and did a full inspection of my entire home and provided me with a report that there was no sign of past or current infestations of any kind. I reached out and spoke to a manager (Jessica) at the office who stated that my dishwasher was infested and there was nothing she could do. My warranty was voided.I offered to send the pest control report and she refused. I then called GE who came out, took the entire dishwasher apart looking for any signs of bugs etc. They stated there was absolutely no bugs in my dishwasher and provided me with photos of the inside. They were able to fix the dishwasher quickly, it was simply the drain hose had to be adjusted and a connection piece replaced. This was a simple fix that took the repairman less than 15 minutes to repair. This should not have come to this and I should be giving 5 stars. I am very disappointed in my treatment from both Chris and Jessica. Not to mention the additional money I had to spend on pest control and GE repairs. I chose Jetson as I really liked their Mission Statement: "Founded in 1974... the Jetson brothers, John and Scott, built the business with one thought in mind – "customer service". The business was built on the 4-S principle. Savings, Service, Selection, Satisfaction and since 1974, the company has not deviated from those principles. Jetson TV & Appliance " I can't help but wonder what John and Scott Jetson would think about this.

The purchase in the showroom went fine. The trouble started with delivery and installation. Three weeks before delivery Jetson called to set up a delivery time. They showed up on time, but didn't have either the dishwasher nor microwave on the truck. When they installed the range and refrigerator, they tore at the plastic wrap so quickly that it tore and left bits and pieces stuck all over the place. We're still finding bits of plastic wrap in and around the seams of the appliances. The range was installed level, but a full 1/4" above the counter tops. They refused to lower it any further. A week later they came back to install the microwave and dishwasher. When they installed the dishwasher drain hose onto the garbage disposal they dislodged the disposal from the mounting ring. A plumber had to be brought in to fix that. Since we found the anti-tip bracket taped inside the oven after the first time they were here, we asked that they install it. Jetson's installers said, "Those brackets aren't needed so we don't install them." I immediately called the store and spoke with our salesman. He said the same thing about the anti-tip bracket not being needed, but offered to have them install it for an additional $40. I pointed out that Samsung clearly states in the user manual that the range and oven should not be used without the anti-tip device installed, and that since Jetson is a Samsung dealer they're clearly violating Samsung's installation instructions. He then instructed the installers to install the bracket from free. However, the installers refused to drill into our tile floor and said they would only install it into the drywall. Since that wouldn't firmly hold the bracket, I refused to let them install the anti-tip bracket. They also refused to lower the range any closer to the counter tops. After they left, I used a masonry bit in a hammer drill to install the anti-tip bracket into our floor. I then lowered and re-leveled the range so it sat less than 1/32" above the counters. I siliconed the gap. The microwave is vented outdoors, but the suction is very weak. We had Jetson come out to look at that. The technician said our installation was good and that we actually had one of the better drawing vents he'd seen for a Samsung. It will barely hold up a dry paper towel. He suggested we contact the sales department and swap out a different brand of microwave "since Samsung is notorious for poor venting on these units." We're still undecided about that.

Water stopped working and no ice. Serviceman arrived as scheduled, diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. Serviceman arrived 7 days later, as expected and made the repair. he was polite, neat, and knowledgeable. If the problem had been related to the performance of the refrigerator or freezer, a needed part would have been expedited for a faster repair. This repair was not critical.

My experience with them initially was fine. I bought a refrigerator freezer, a stove, a dishwasher, as well as a washer and dryer from them. The sales personal were very nice and the prices were good. The delivery and installation people were also pretty good but their follow up is awful. It was a large purchase. I've only had the refrigerator for seven months and I'm already waiting for my second repair. The first time the guy came to repair it scratched the door. He didn't leave me an invoice, told me one thing, went back to the store and tells me another story. I'm very disappointed in their follow up as far as customer service. I don't know what's up with the refrigerator product which is another problem because to have something repaired twice in six months is really unacceptable. As far as Jetson the personal is nice, store is laid out nice but their follow up terrible. I'm waiting now for the second repair person to come. I've heard a lot of conflicting stories about what is going on and it’s just really a pain. Its fine if we want to buy something and never have them service anything again but if we are looking for their follow up service I wouldn't recommend them. I bought their service contract plus it's only been seven months old so it's still covered by warranty anyway even if I didn't have the contract. To have an item repaired twice in seven months is not good and that is something I'm going to take up with the refrigerator because it's their product. The price I felt was fair.

We purchased a washing machine and dryer from Jetson's. The washing machine broke down in Jan. and they sent someone out to repair it. The repairs never worked and actually made the problems with the washing machine worse. Eventually, we had to have the Maytag repairman out two times to fix the machine. Jetson's was horrible in helping us and said they didn't want to be stuck with a washing machine that didn't work so they weren't going to replace it. We spent 5 months handwashing our clothes (they never had a replacement available) while waiting for them to figure out how to fix out "new" machine. Never again will we buy from Jetson's

Jetson loaded two delivery charges after the bill was paid in full after time of purchase and never discussed it with us. When I called to arrange delivery they held the appliances hostage until I agreed to pay the delivery charges. Did not discuss installation costs, so appliances were delivered and we were told we had to pay extra for installation. Returned the microwave for a credit. and they never did the credit until I wrote letters to them and to BBB. I had to dispute the entire charge on my Mastercard to get their attention. They were rude and insulting about the added delivery charges saying either I had to pay them or they would take them out of the salesman's pay- and did I want them to take it out of his commission? Why should that be up to me ? they made the mistake. There were more twists and turns to this. Short story, I will never go back - never. The final credit occurred in March, when the transaction was in October.

The ice maker on the LG Refrigertator had a problem which wasn't serious. The small flapper door which opens when you push the switch for ice, stopped closing after a few seconds as it's supposed to. I just had to remember to push it closed after getting ice. It took a couple of weeks to get the correct part, but waiting wasn't a problem because the problem wasn't serious. The repairman was here as promised and fixed the problem. I have purchased 4 major appliances from Jetson, Saint Lucie West store, over the past 5 years. Their prices and service have been great and they are always willing to match competitor pricing.

RUNN AWAY FROM JETSON. I have never been scammed by a sales person before but now I can hang that on my bucket list. DAN FLEMING will not even return my calls. At no time have I been unprofessional. I have been treated like a fool...JETSON is as bad as it gets!!!I have never bought from anywhere but SEARS and now I know why.
Description of Work: I purchased a Washer and Dryer set. It is manufactured by FRIGIDAIRE name is Afinity.27"FRONTLOAD 7CYCLE ARTEA, and dryer is AFINITY7CYCLE SENSOR. I purchased it from manager Dan Fleming. Not even one week goes by and the rubber band at door falls of and large spring poped off. Repairman was agitated when I had him go around to side door to garage. I had justed moved and boxxes where everywhere. He told me that having the rubber ring pop-off and when you opened door the rubber seal was just hanging there was a bad sighn that he had never saw this problem . It was a going to keep happening if it did this already! I could not believe my ears!!! I am experianced in the problems of warrenty issues and told him I had replacement value and that if I had another lemon I would get a new one. HE STATED THAT IN FLORIDA THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AND THAT I WAS STUCK AND WOULD NEVER BE MADE WHOLE IF THIS WASHER WAS A LEMON. He was rude and I asked him to leave immedetly!! I begged me to finish and check washer for repair, I did let him, but I called Dan Fleming and told him I wanted to report this incident. I was told that they have had problems with the repair person and he would take care of it. Now it is 2 years later on june 8/11 my washer will not run. It just says PAU and sits there. I have had my washer in need of repair for 60 days. I have been givin the run around by them first repair company. Mr Appliance they said it was my home wiring. I had to have a electrician come and write a report saying my electric was fine. This cost me $160.00. Mr appliance paid me $100.00 and ate the $340.00 bill they sent me even though it was a warrenty job. That took about a month. Next on or about the beginig of july/6/11 I was told that A&E was coming and that Mr appliance was off the repair. Seems this is the first company that could not fix my washer. Off course I had to tell Warranttech Company who is my warrenty provider. I will write seperate report on this company! I had to asure them my home electric was fine and if it was my electric I would be held libal for all repair costs. I was warrened again and again by WARRANTECH that I could be billed. Its like they intend to scare you out of your warrenty!!! A&E got washer running with a repair that was a control. On july 14/11. So this started on June 8/11. A&E is a good company and I will also sent a report for them. On aug 4 /11 the washer does the same thing and now I am the begining to belive the JETSON repair man that said I was in for A nightmare. A&E replaced the same part as well as the wiring harrness and another control. The man from A&E was here till 8:00 P.M. on aug11/ 11. I then helped him order more parts so now its a door switch and its harness.So we have come full circle and replaced eveything twice. Still WARRANTECH says that as long as it can be fixed we will keep working on it. Even when the repair people leave for the third time and its broke. Thats not counting the other 3 times they where here to look and figure what it needs for parts. I have more time in this then its worth. Seven times and running I have had a repair man in my home to fix the same thing!!! Last but not least I am tottally disabled with a severe head and neck back injurys. My brain has been damaged so all this is 3 times as hard to handle. I PAID 2,000 for this. RUN DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM JETSON. This manager will say anything to get a sale then do nothing but blame you for not agreeing with them. If you need to see what the profit is join DIRECT BUY..I did just so I never had to deal with these route 1 scammers in a clean shirt and tie.

I ask if he was a lisenced contractor he stated "yes" but he is not, he is an employee that works as a construction project manager for Jetson. I explained to him if he were to try to repair my flooring the 25 year warrenty would be void if I didn't have it repaired by a licensed certified bamboo floor installer/refinsher. He stated, he could do it for $300.00 hundred dollars instead of 3,000.00 dollars it didn't need to be removed he would pour hot water on the wood and steam the scars and damage out them restain it, then rewax it. I tried to tell him it was never waxed he told me I didn't know what I was talking about my house keeper waxed it all the time he knew that, housekeeper will swear she has never waxed floor. He told me I was from the south that southern belles didn't know anything about wood floors, but then he ask me if the floor was real hardwood ??? I have spoken to Bamboo International, Hardwood Flooring Refinshers, severals wood floor installers, they all tell me they have never heard of this type of repair and have advised me to not hire anyone to repair a wood floor that would use this treatment or technoiogy to repair any wood flooring. Jetson now have refused to pay for the damages, have made false statements, have tried to pass this Daryl Cook off as a liscensed, insured contractor, which I have checked, he is not licensed, insured in the stated of Florida therein he has committed fraud and as an agent for Jetson this has allow Jetson to committ fraud. I will be taking Jetson to small claims court for the money due me for the repair of the damage of the flooring and will never buy appliances or TV's from any of the stores again.
Description of Work: Purchased Appliances from Jetson's located at 1231 20th St., Vero Beach, Fl., on March 29, 2011, when installer 3/30/11,came to remove the existing dishwaher and micowave, person appeared intoxicated, very loud, angry, dropped the large microwave box on the wood floor upon entering the kitchen, shouting profanities, stated he was never informed to removed appliances and install new appliances, but his paperwork clearly showed that the installer was to remove exiting appliances place in garage - install new appliances. I pointed this out, Jetson installer became even louder shouting more profanities stating (quote) "I could cause you problems if shut and quit telling me how to do my job" (end quote). Installer stated he could not get existing dishwasher legs released enough to slide out of opening due, after some time he just jerked dishwasher out of opening dragging it across wood flooring scarring the floor very badly. I asked him to stop he refused, the kitchen and hallway floor is damaged severely. NEW DISWASHER: Installer drags new dishwasher across wood flooring places appliance in opening at angles, therein causing appliance door to not open, stating the DW was too large for the opening, (quote) You stupid b**** I can't install this, you have to take this back and get a smaller one or have some of your cabinets taken out" (end quote) I called the salesman alerted him to the problem, he sent an installer the next day 3/31/11, that I knew personally to install the DW the DW was installed in 20 minutes. MICOWAVE: Installer leaves DW alone starts to remove the existing microwave, states he cannot install the new oven due to the grantie on back wall, installed the oven with vent closed, first time used oven it became very hot knew something was wrong, had to have another installer remover the oven, and reinstall it, stated it could have started a fire the way it was installed! THE WOOD FLOORING: As soon as the intoxicated installer departed I called Jetson's reported the installer, and the damaged flooring. I called a witness to see the damaged flooring immediate and took photos of the flooding. The next day installer I personally knew came to install the new DW that had been in my home on several ocassions saw the floor he was shocked, stated he would be glad to be a witness that the floor was never damaged prior to the day before. One Week later 4/07/11 an agent from Jetson came to see the damaged flooring, ask me to e:mail the photo's to him,I did his boss Chris called on 5/23/11 told me to get an estimate from the person who laid the flooring and was to repair the flooring. I did, faxed the estimate to app. salesman and Chris as requested (3) times each time they claimed they didn't receive it, but confirmation shows it was received. 6/21/11 received call from John Jetson stated he wanted to look at damaged floor, I was out of town told him I would call upon return. Called spoke with John Jetson made appointment thought he would be person coming for inspection on 7/29/2011 instead Chris & Daryl Cook with Jetson came told me he was a licensed contractor and wood floor installer, he would be repairing my floor.

The salesman was polite, the repairman was polite, but the store manager was not. He would not honor their warranty.
Description of Work: I purchased a used matched-set washer and dryer set from Jetson's outlet store on US 1. They came with a 90 day warranty. The dryer did not work on 2 of the 3 settings, on the first use. They sent a repairman out who said it needed a new moisture sensor. Despite being on a 90 day warranty, the store refused to repair the dryer. They said they would trade it for a different used dryer, but it was a matched set and they did not have another used dyer that fit the set. I told them that I wanted them to honor their warranty and repair the dryer (after all, it's not my fault they didn't check to see if the dryer worked properly before selling it) but they flat out refused. I was extremely disappointed, and will not ever use Jetson again.

I had a good experience with them. It turned out that the tub inside the washing machine had become loose. It was an expensive and hard thing to do a repair. It was a material compatibility problem. It was made out of the wrong material. If you bought it more than 5 years ago, then the drum inside the washer is guaranteed for 25 years. If you buy it less than 5 years ago, then it is guaranteed for 1 year. So I went to Jetson and talked to them about it. They told me that they could get me a new drum. They said that it would not be a problem because of its age. They had record of the sale even though I didn?t have the receipt. They looked it up for me and got the number for me. They also applied for the warranty for me. They found out that the plastic tub was destroyed too. So I went back to Jetson and I talked to them. I finally got a new set of tubs. It was $700 worth of parts for a $500 washing machine. So it was amazing. I got all the parts and I put it back together myself because it would have cost me $300 for labor. The women in their service department helped me get my free parts. They helped me out even though they didn?t make any money out of it. They sell the product and if the product falls apart because of the manufacturer's fault, all they can do to help the customer is what they did for me. They helped me get it fixed myself. They responded well over the phone. If they hadn?t been willing to help me, then I had to go in for a new washing machine. I would use their services in the future too.
Description of Work: I contacted Jetson TV & Appliance Center probably 4 or 5 months ago for getting parts for my washing machine. I bought a washer and a dryer from them a little over 5 years ago. It’s a front loading washer.
