+ -1 moreThe service man was nice and replaced the part in 5 minutes. He said, when asked, he had no idea how much this would cost. We figured a little plastic dispenser cup couldn't be too expensive, right? I called the company after receiving the $122.08 bill and question the outrageous cost and was told they figured that's how much it cost to just knock on your door. Are you kidding me! We asked them to just bring it out when they were out on Sanibel Island, which is were our condo is, as they do a lot of service there and this was not an emergency. They're sure ripping off a lot of people if they charge a minimum of $105 just to knock on the door! I highly suggest no one use this business for anything and I intend to tell everyone I know not to use them as well. They are clearly taking advantage of people. Shame on you!!
Description of Work: Needed a bleach dispenser cup for the washing machine. A $10 part which took 5 minutes to snap into place.

+ -1 moreCharlie, arrived in a couple of hours, and checked the common things, like breakers, bad thermostat etc. he then went to the Condenser outside and discoverd as I did that the Fan was not rotating. He immediately discovered the problem, two blown capacitor, he replaced the capacitors and the system fired up and was blowing cold air
Description of Work: My Daughter's A/C was not cooling so I checked it out and discovered the Condenser fan was not moving. I figured it was one of three things, 1) Fan Motor, Compressor, or a Capacitor(s). I called Union Mechanical and they were at my daughter's house in a couple of hours. I naturally figured they would tell me I needed a new Condenser, or a new Fan motor. Charlie was the service person who came he checked the system and new it a very short time what the problem was, a blown capacitor, the system actually has two capacitors, he replaced both and had the system up and running is about a 1/2 hour. I was not at my daughter's house when he came, but he called me after he left and explained everything he did.
