Description of Work: I employed this service for about 3 years. I had a new water system installed by a friend and it wasn't working properly. Water Guyz serviced this particular unit. Over the length of 3 years, I had them out various times to remedy my problem (water kept going hard). Each time I paid for a service call and 'repair' work. After 3 years, my unit was still not working properly, the owner said it was my well. He had his employee shock it and still, my unit did not stay soft. He then told me I needed new beds in my tanks and I paid him $$$$$ for this. After about a week, my unit again was not producing soft water. I started calling around to other companies and received some estimates ( I was also paying Water Guyz in excess of 600+ per year for salt service and one yearly maintenance check. I hired a new company (Aqua Care) and they solved my water problem immediately. The valves were placed in reverse. I also pay them per salt call and they come every 6 weeks and my unit usually takes 1 bag. This amts. to approx 240.00 year and I inflated costs here. Everything has been running EXCELLENT since getting rid of The Water Guyz. Mike is a real salesman. I am a female homeowner and am at the mercy of these men. I would NEVER recommend this company.

Overall, my problem was finally fixed after several call backs with a charge each time. As mentioned one of my major problems was with the GFI in the wall. This should have been tested at the beginning instead of a process of elimination costing me several more dollars and call backs.
Description of Work: Too many bad things to mention. All I can write is that I will never use this company again. Very unprofessional and I question as to know what they are doing. I did have a few problems that they fixed but after about 6 call backs the major problem turned out to the the ground fault interupter in the wall which was replaced by an electrician. They also left their trash behind, old filters, boxes and a real mess on the kitchen floor after replacing the filters in the reverse osmoasis system under the sink.There are other things that I don't wish to get into but I will never use this company again.

The member did use us to fix his system when he moved in the home the work that was completed had nothing to do with electrical , this problem was found 6 months after the work was complete. the work that was completed was because of bacteria that had built up in the system due to noone living in the home for several years. Im sorry that the member is unsatisfied with our work . we do have over 2500 customers that we service and find that we get a satisfactory response from the majority of our clients.

It's done but cannot recommend!
Description of Work: Sales rep came to house ill-prepared. Needed an RO system and House De-chlorinator. Asked for brochures on system and he had an RO system example but not the exact unit that could be installed. He had nothing on the de-chlorinator. Quoted me $2500.00 and I laughed. I offered 1500 out the door and he accepted. The next day a SUB contractor arrived with his son and said the dechlorinator was too small for such a large home. I phoned the salesman and he arranged for a larger tank to be sent to the home. The installer was quite rude stating that "time is money"! When the tank arrived the installer went to work. He had me nervous as he was trying to teach his son the trade and the boy seemed scared and disinterested. Ultimately the installer had the work complete. Unfortunately he never installed the rubber gasket on the RO and it leaked after he left. Upon returning the next day he said he "knew" the gasket was missing and blamed it on the salesman who gave him the unit. He chose to install it and hope it didn't leak! He also had to sink the de-chlorinator tank in the ground as it was rocking and very unstable the way he originally installed it. VERY POOR and unprofessional install. Sorry guyz....not a happy customer here! Note: the salesman never did provide the owners manual for the RO as promised. Done dealing with the WaterGuyz! Update: June 2011: Found that the RO unit was leaking for some time as the water bill had increased substantially. Had a leak detection company coe out and fine the leak. $250 later, they found that the RO had a leaky valve causing the unit to call for water continuously and dump it right down the drain. Called the owner of Watreguyz and asdvised that the unit cost me $250 for leak detection and atleast $100 on my water bill. He advised that he would send a tech out. The tech confirmned the unit had faulty vlave and he needed to take the entire filter catridge back to get repaired. I wated for 4 days with no RO and still no call. I called the owner and he advised serfvice tech to call. A week later the same unit came back and was re-installed. When I asked the owner waht he was going to do about the $$$$ I was out...He said he would give me a new filter.>! WHOOOPIE. Not only did I have to go w/o my RO for week, he only would come up with a filter for my troubles. REALLY...Wow...what a businessman! He should have given me a new unit and worked out the problem with the bad filter on his own and atleast refunded my leak detection bill IMO.The unit was still under warranty and only 6 months old! Pass on these guyz.

The member called with a problem with his R O that had been installed ,after the problem with the ro had been detected we contacted the manufacturer who stated that the unit was under warranty but had to be sent back to them for repair at this time I let the member know that the unit had to be sent to the manufacturer for repair. He was irate and demanded a new unit. I called the manufacturer who stated that was not there policy , I told the member who was not satisfied with the response. We then forwarded the unit back to the manufacturer who repaired and sent it back this took several weeks. As soon as it came in we contacted the member and reinstalled the unit our warranty states that it is manufacturers warranty. so we did as our warranty declares. I am extremely sorry that the member was not satisfied with the service but we did do the best we could. as for resolution we offered 2 sets of filters to make him somewhat happy. But at the time nothing we did seemed to be satisfactory to the member.
