The Carpenter's Son is a professional home inspection company offering many services to meet a variety of needs. Let us help you verify the value of the investment. A thorough home inspection includes foundations, roofing, exterior walls, porches and decks, electrical panel and service, hot water tank and branch plumbing, functional drain and functional water flow, HVAC unit, heating and cooling sytsems, interiors, kitchen and bath appliances, cabinets and counters, windows and doors, attic structure, insulation and ventilation. We also inspect detached buildings, pools, wells, extended property, perform AIR QUALITY mold Testing and coordinate WDO (termite) inspections. Insurance inspections are also very popular and can obtain possibly up to 65% reductions annually, with properly certified 4-point and Wind Mitigation inspections of which we specialize in. We are also one of the very few certified in MOBILE / MANUFACTURED HOMES. There are many things unique to this type of home.

Scott was very thorough. He explained his accreditations, instruments he would be using, what he was looking for in each test and what his tests could or could not tell us. He checked the roof, crawl spaces, all the electrical, appliances, drainage systems and grades, water flow and pressure, drains, windows & doors, cabinets, vegetation on the property for signs of disease and more. He explained what additional inspections were available, their fees, and what additional information from these tests would be of value. He did not push for the additional tests but rather made us aware of them should we feel the need to gain that information. Thanks Scott for a job well done. Diane P
