This time we were doing a larger project and felt comfortable using the same general contractor. Unfortunately, the results of this job have been disastrous. The repair of deficiencies caused other deficiencies. This resulted in us firing them and prohibiting the company from entering our home. They used substandard paint and substandard painters. When we questioned the paint job we were told, "Our regular painters weren't available so we had to go with these guys." Oh yes, the final deficiency in a long, long list, e had our front doors replaced. The two front doors have leaded glass inserts. One of the inserts was installed upside down. Yes, you read that correctly. Run don't walk from this company. T

A company with 25 years experience should know better than to use latex paint over oil paint on all the interior doors and trim.
"The glass in one door was inadvertently installed upside down by the manufacturer and would be easily corrected under full warranty. We used all quality Sherwin Williams paint product and applied per the manufacturers recommendations. Regarding “other deficiencies”, we met with the owner on Friday November 16th and agreed on a punch list of items the owner wanted corrected. We scheduled our crews to perform all corrective work on the following Monday, November 19th. Before we started remediation work the owner sent a profanity laden email cancelled our contract and insisted on keeping our final payment and doing the punch items themselves. We offered several times both verbally and in writing to correct any deficiencies. Their assessment of our company for Angie’s List is both puzzling and disappointing. I met with this owner personally during the construction process and they expressed how happy they were with the quality of workmanship. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and great customer relationships. In over 25 years of business I have never experienced a client become this unprofessional and belligerent."
