Sliding Door Doctors

It's a miracle! The Sliding Door Doctor made the lanai sliding door better than new and added handles. I can now open the heavy sliding glass doors with one finger!! The replaced the roller wheels and added a 'c' shaped cap to the runner so the roller wheels easily glide. So nice when you hire a vendor that is an amazing expert. I called the Lee county office and they were great. To add handles ($15. each) with install.

Before they arrived we could not even open our sliders they were impossible to move. They were ontime and very professional. My sliding door is 19 years old and the rollers had never been replaced. The door was very noisy and hard to slide and I really should have had them replaced a couple of years earlier but I just kept putting it off. I use the door several times a day to let my dog out and I finally reached my breaking point. Called The Sliding Door Doctors and talked to Jack. He would have been able to schedule me for the repair within a couple of days but at my request it was scheduled for the following week. - Mark and Robert arrived for the appointment 10 minutes early which was great for me and it only took them 25 minutes to complete the entire job. They were very friendly and did a thorough clean-up befor they left. - They replaced the old rollers with nylon precision bearing rollers ($99.00) which are unbelievably quiet and all I have to do now is start the door rolling with one finger and it opens and closes on its own from there. It's been 3 weeks now and I'm still amazed every time I use the door. An added benifit is the rollers are actually made in the USA which I am very pleased with and they come with a 1 year warranty. - I also had them install a J-Lock ($15.00) on the door to replace the old lock that I had at the bottom of the door. This new lock is located at eye level and so much easier to use then the old lock that I've found myself using it every time I come back inside which wasn't true with the old lock because of the inconvience of using it. The J-Lock prevents either door from sliding and/or being lifted out of their tracks which is just what you want a lock to do. I found this company on Angies List and I got a second bid from another and quot;Aand quot; Rated company on Angies List and The Sliding Door Doctors were the least expensive of the two and I'm very happy with my decision to use them. I strongly encourage you to use them if your looking for someone to repair your sliding door.

The servicemen were ahead of scheduled time, courteous and did a great job fixing the doors. The rollers were replaced and the tracks were cleaned to the point, they look new. The price to repair the doors was very reasonable. I would use this company again without hesitation.

They reported on time - repaired the door in about 40 minutes - and - installed the door adjusted it and I paid them by check.

Our sliding door to the outside was a real struggle to open or close. My husband and I took the door off and tried to clean, adjust, even did the WD40 bit on it ...no luck. Not even a bit of difference. I found The Sliding Door Doctor here on Angie's List, called and talked to Jack. He was so nice and helpful. Two of his men happend to be close by and he was able to fit us in the same day. Mark and Rob showed up with a smile and went straight to fixing the problem. Took off the door changed out the wheels with much better ones and made the door slide like butter! My husband wanted our second door to have the same smoothness.....no problem...Done! Its so Great to see there is still a place where you can get great customer service like this. I highly recommend them! Thank you!!

They took the sliding doors down and fixed and cleaned the sliding parts Then put them back up and cleaned them

Called on Monday. Said would be there between 1 and 2 PM. Arrived at 12:40 PM. That was OK with me. Checked the offending door and went to get tools. Removed the door and cleaned and replaced rollers and made adjustments. Were all done in 20 minutes. Good job. Paid cash got a receipt and they left.

Doors would not slide except with great difficulty. Glass doors were 17 years old and bearings had deteriorated. Replacement wheels were installed, stainless steel cover was installed over aluminum track and doors were reset. Great job and care was taken to protect doors and surrounding area from damage during work.

I recently moved into a 10 year old home and was having difficult opening the sliding glass door to to 10 years of wear and tear and neglect. The men from the Sliding Door Doctor came out within a day of my initial phone call to them and did an OUTSTANDING job. The door not only opens and closes with ease, they added (at no extra cost to me) a locking mechanism to prevent my 18 month old grandson from being able to open the door when he comes to visit. The men were very personable and did an excellent job. I highly recommend this company.

This company was up front with their pricing and called when they were going to arrive early. They fixed my large sliding glass door quickly. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Jack was very professional on the phone setting up the appointment. They arrived at the specified time. Rob showed me the locks available and made sure I agreed before beginning the work. The work was done very quickly and neatly and Rob brought a vacuum in to clean up afterward.
