Once we had decided to accept their bid we went to their showroom to pick out the pavers and sign the contract. They have a huge selection of types, colors, and patterns actually in the ground outside their door which makes it easy to picture how they'll look (the picture book provided gives an idea, but is not entirely reliable). Don and Duane gave us very good advice on choosing the pavers that would look best with our house. The crew showed up right on schedule, and the work was finished as promised even though there was a hold-up due a misunderstanding on the part of the Cape Coral inspector that delayed the work by a day. Don, the project manager, had a double crew come and finish the job to stay within the agreed-upon time frame.The driveway and walkway look phenomenal, and include several nice details (like a flare at the front door) that we hadn't expected. The join with the asphalt where the driveway meets the street is flawless, unlike 3/4 of the jobs we have seen. We have had many compliments from our neighbors and visitors.... We just couldn't be happier. I should add that Don came by several days after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied, and then again a month or so later when we needed advice on upkeep.Our only regret is that we did not have a culvert laid under the driveway: rainwater, and consequently dirt and sand, do collect in the swale of the driveway. But that was our decision, not Rock Solid's!

Don came out and gave me estimate and stated not to exceed $800.00 in labor and material. He stated that he would need to add some brick to extend the walkway and his brick would not match. A day later i found 25-30 original bricks behind some shrubs on the side of my house. Great now i'll have matching brick. Rock solid pavers workers arrived promptly at 8am. I met them and showed them where pool rest room was and offered them water and coffee. Guys started the work and everything was looking good. I would check on them from time to time and ask if they needed a drink or coffee but for the most part left them alone. What i did which was a huge problems later on was the saw which they used to cut bricks.They used the saw machine right at the entrance to my pool. With the wind the dust was flying everywhere. I mean everywhere. I spent 3.5 hrs the next morning cleaning up which i'll get to. At approx 12 noon i looked out and they were gone. All the bricks laid and the walkway extended but no clean up what so ever. They left an absolute mess. Items left behind, twine, sponges, sand, pool screen door left open, everything had paver dust on it. The total area was a complete mess with paver sand washed up and into the screens, the flower beds next to extended walkway completely ruined, etc. What horrible experience! I was so upset that i email Don and he sent out a foreman who actually had to replace 4 broken pavers they installed, cleaned up more of the mess, etc. That foreman spent an additional 2 hrs adjusting pavers, adding sand to joints, washing down patio, etc. I was mailed a bill with a $100.00 trip charge to boot. I just had to shake my head that someone would charge that cost to come to my home. I could have filled their tank for $50.00.

It was a thorough job and way under the estimate of another company who wanted to redo the entire lanai deck.

The salesman was very professional and polite. The bid came in fairly high compared to other bids, but since I was familiar with their work in the neighborhood and didn't know anything about the other companies, I decided to go ahead with Rock Solid Pavers. When I faxed the signed contract to the company, I asked for an approximate start date. After not hearing from them for a few days, I called to ask the question again, but they weren't sure and said they would check and call me back. A few more days pass and I have to call again. This time they give me a very vague window in the future. I wrote with the contract that I wanted a few days notice before they started so I could be home and reiterated this on the phone. Then one day with no notice, the pavers appeared in the front yard. I called and they said that they were starting in the morning. By this time, it was too late to notify my work, so I had to call in sick in order to be here. The workers promptly showed up and during the course of the morning, it turned out that it was a good thing that i was at home because the workmen did have a few questions. They also had not brought a deco-drain for the patio, although the contract stated that there was one, so one guy had to leave for quite some time to locate the proper one. The good thing was that the workers who were very polite did a very nice looking job. I haven't seen the rain on the patio yet, so haven't been able to check the slope, but it appears fine. Before the workmen left, I asked if I should give them the check for the job, but they called the office and said that somebody was on their way over to the house to pick it up. I had some errands I had wanted to run, but stayed home instead. Nobody came. Overall, the completed work looks great, but communication with the customer needs improvement.

Worked through our contractor. Visited their location, looked at a variety of pavers and discussed designs. On site we decided the plan needed some adjustments, we added sidewalks around the property, and a compass rose inlay. They didn't miss a beat, got the sidewalks in as well as the driveway in a timely manner. I wish everyone were as nice to work with as these guys!

Excellent. Very professional from the estimate through the installation. Attention was paid to detail and we ended up with a job that we were extremely pleased with. I would definitely go to this company first for any paver work. Also, the price was very reasonable for the work and quality of the job. Also, there were a lot of choices given to us.

I am totally happy with the cost, the workmanship, and the punctuality of the submitted estimate and follow through. The final price even came in at less than the original estimate!

Smoothly. Although there was a slight delay in starting the job due to the pavers not being manufactured in a timely manner. Once the job was started they did a good job. Good cleanup. The pavers looked great.
