The work was preformed two days later. I was shocked that he fit me in. His employees were professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

I met with the Owner, Jose Macgo on July 23, 2014. He showed up promply and provided us pictures of Paving jobs her recently completed. He helped us pick out the colors that would accent the pool and the color of the House. He also worked with us on the size of the Pavers - - this was extremely important, as the area was large, and suggested three different sized pavers to show off the beauty of a large area, (this turned out beautiful, as the three sizes broke up the pattern nicely, so it didn't look all the same). To get the largest Stone, it had to be ordered, which took a month - but was well worth the wait. He kept us informed as we all waited for the start date. Jose's crew was professional and worked hard with hardly a break. He had a Stone cutter that was a "perfectionist" and every stone fit had to be perfect. Jose was around many times during the three day project - to make sure we liked the progess, to explain what was coming next, and to make sure the cleanup was done to our satisfaction. We will recommend Jose and Master Z to anyone needing paving perfection. We will certainly use him again. As an important p.s. - he gave us a 10% discount on the entire project because the was recommended by Angies List - AND it was a true 10% because we had other estimates.

After talking to so many companies, I am so glad I found Master Z. What a relief to know there is a company that takes pride in their work and does not try to sell you something you don't need. Master Z cares about what you want and makes your vision come to life. The project went great. I special ordered a new color and Jose (the owner) was very clear on the time it would take to make the special ordered pavers. He communicated extremely well. He returns your calls or answers when you call. I interviewed a lot of companies and he was the most responsive, detail oriented and does an amazing job. He does not take shortcuts. Listen to Jose because he knows what he is doing. He helped with the design of the deck and I could not be happier. The guys at Master Z worked very hard during hot weather. Jose also gets out there and works hard as well as giving direction. He is very good about overseeing the project and making sure it gets done to your satisfaction. He wants to make sure you are a happy customer. Since I work at home, I watched the project unfold and was amazed at what they did and how everyone worked well together. They cleaned up each day too. I kept thinking I am so glad they are doing my deck because Jose takes true ownership of the work of his company. Also, seal the deck, it makes such a wonderful difference in the color. Again, the work was amazing. I can't wait to have him come back and do my driveway or maybe a walkway.

We had interviewed with 4 other companies and pricewise MsterZ was in the middle. We do not regret having chosen him to do the job. He showed great ideas before doing it, went with us to pick the pavers at TriCircle Pavers (manufacturer) and showed flexibility in executing the job. It all came out much better and more beauiful than expected. This company's work is excellent, was designed beautifully and could not have been executed any better. Master Z was referred to me by a neighbor to fix the uneven side of our paver driveway. He came within a few days after I first called to inspect the problem. There were some soft spots in ground and it only took him a few hours to fix and reset the bricks. he is very knowledgable and easy to work with. They did a great job !

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. Very good at communication and follow up. He came promptly to give us an estimate and recommended a style and color for the pavers which we liked. He gave us the name of the Paver manufacturer so we could go see the types of pavers available. He provided a design which turned out very well. The crew who installed the pavers were very professional. They suggested some changes to the design as they were laying the walk which enhanced its look and accessibility. The walkway looks great!!! We will definitely use this company again. We can highly recommend them.

I messaged Jose on the Angie's List site and he called me the next day. He came out that afternoon and surveyed the problem and said that he could repair the deck, retaining wall and drain area in an afternoon. He said that he was busy and could do it in a couple of weeks or the next day because his crew was waiting for pavers to be delivered to another job. I told him to come by the next day. The deal was done on a handshake, including the estimate. He said that I could pay when I was happy with the work. He said that he would be there to instruct the crew the next day between 8-10. He showed up at 11:10am and promptly got to work. The job was done by 3:30. I met him at 5:30pm to walk around the site. It looked great. I pulled out my 10% off coupon from Angie's List and he knocked the 10% off without hesitation. I would like to mention that Jose is very knowledgeable about troubleshooting the repairs and suggesting several ways to proceed. He noticed that the deck had several areas where small slivers of pavers were cut and inserted to bridge a gap and was unhappy with the appearance. He said that his crew would take some extra pavers that I had and recut and set these spots at no charge. Overall, prompt, courteous, helpful, craftsman. You will not be sorry if you choose this company.

The work was excellant. My only complaint is that he did not keep in touch with me while waiting for the product to arrive. I called him several times; but he always returned my calls. Also, I did not realize the pavers would need additional sealing at a substantial cost. Update: One big problem. Our pool is filthy. There are large pieces of stone in the pool and spa. I was told they would be cleaned out. Our pool company tells us this is the worst they have seen. They will clean it but it will take quite a while.

The day (Tuesday) I called for an estimate, Jose came that same afternoon & was able to sketch out what we were telling him we were wanting on plain paper to give us a visual. He also went to the paver supplier that same day to find out if they had the color we desired in stock & called us that evening to notify us that it was available. He stated they could do the job Saturday or Monday. He stated he would call Friday to let us know which day we would be put on the schedule. They apparently finished their Friday job early & he called that morning saying they could do it same day. We got a quote on Tuesday & the job was completed in 4hrs on Friday. They were extremely efficient and professional. We were very impressed and would recommend this company to anyone looking for paver installation for any application.

The job went well. They were on time in the a.m. it looks great. They were hard working from the time they started till they finished. I would hire them again.

I am more than happy with Jose and his crew from Master Z pavers. Not only did he give me a very good price, but he was also on the job the very next day. They reworked 2 existing paver paths to create a slope instead of a step, recut deco drains, and really did an awesome job on everything. Very nice, easy to work with, great suggestions, and the crew cleaned up and hosed down each day before they left leaving everything neat and free of dust and dirt. I can't say enough about this company, they were excellent, and definitely deserve their high rating on Angie's list, which is why I chose them in the first place.

Showed up on time the day after the estimate. Crew was professional and courteous. Owner was on site and participated in the finishing touches. Work was done professionally. Gave Angies List discount. Would definately recommend this company

It went very very well, fast, beautiful work. I think I saw the workers take maybe 1 or 2 breaks, they worked until the job was done. Their level of craftsmanship was excellent. Work ethic excellent. Price very fair - gave us a break for being Angie's List members. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone!

After having several disappointing experiences with contractors in my area, I was hesitant to go under contract for a large patio and pool paver project. But, since I really wanted to make the back of my home "pop", I scheduled several contractors for quotes, fully expecting an experience similar to my previous projects. I selected Master Z Pavers based on the owner's professionalism and after seeing his work in Cape Coral. Jose restored my faith in contractors (there are some good ones out there!) and delivered a great patio on time, on budget, and it "pops." A few things about Master Z Pavers that sets them apart from the unreliable, "part-time" contractors in this area. Jose is involved in the project and gets his hands dirty. The team is professional and respects the owner's privacy and property. The quality of the work and the materials used are very high. When problems occur, Jose solves them and keeps the project on track. The team shows up when they say they will and they all communicate with the owners. Jose does not take on work he is not licensed for. He uses other contractors (i.e., irrigation) when needed. Jose called two weeks after the project was done to check and see if we were happy and if everything was OK. It was an enjoyable experience, unlike the other contractors I dealt with who seemed like trespassers while they were here. Jose is a man who can be trusted at your home. I highly recommend Master Z Pavers and plan to use them for a future project on my driveway.

I had the job done a year ago and am just now getting around to writing the review. I received 3 quotes for the work I wanted done. Master was just a little low but all prices were close. I had about 65 of length and 2 or 3 feet high retaining wall and a stairway of pavers built. The stairs were 90% completed and we did not like the pitch of the treads. WE told the owner and without any problem he tore out what they had built and redid the stairs. IT was a lot of added work but he did not hesitate to do the job to our satisfaction. After they were complete with the job, the next day the sprinklers came on and I found a water line had broken, under the stairs. I called the owner and they came back and fixed the problem, no hassle at all. They ended up d*** extra work that was not planned or discussed but during the job it was needed. They just did it and did not ask for additional cost. I paid them an extra 300 to 500 for the added work. So over all they did a great job, did it right, and made sure it was done to our satisfaction and exceeded our expectations.

I have worked in public relations my entire life as an independent artistic painting contractor and can instantly spot up front a good and sincere presentation along with the highest quality materials and workmanship which Jose graciously convinced me of...........so what are you waiting for........go for it and see superb results; you will not be disappointed.

Jose and his crew did a wonderful job!! His crew is very knowledgeable and worked two long days getting our job completed. There was a lot of cutting and their expertise was unbelievable. We have had so many compliments on the lanai, and owe it to Jose and his crew!! We had a new screen cage put up on top of the pavers after they were laid, so it is a very clean edge. The crew cleaned up when they were finished, and were very polite and nice to have around. We plan to have Master Z back to seal the pavers. I would recommend them to any of our friends. They are terrific!!

Jose was very responsive to all of our requests. He managed his schedule around ours. He repaired pavers that had been displaced by tree roots as well as normal driving. He removed pavers, cut roots, added additional sand, replaced pavers in several different areas and re-cemented borders to prevent movement in areas where the weight of cars had caused the cement borders to crack and therefore, no longer keeping the pavers in place. Jose was present for much of the work and made sure that everything was in order before leaving. Great experience!

This was a large project requiring excavation, back fill, and many curved cuts. Jose graded the excess fill throughout my back yard with his Bobcat. If I didn't care for something, Jose and crew would do the work to my satisfaction. The crew cleaned up and removed all debris. Easy to work with.

I contacted them through Angie's list and received a call back the next morning. They came later that morning to look at the area and gave an estimate. We picked the pavers that same day and workers returned that afternoon to start work. They showed up early the next morning and completed the paver patio before noon. The patio looks great and we would use them again, for future work.

Jose and crew were exceptional. When they were finished, my property took on a whole new look. Jose and crew fashioned beautiful curves with pavers where once were nothing but ugly cement angles. Master Pavers made my house look like it belongs in a home fashion magazine. We took months to decide on the right color and style, checked driveways and other providers too. In the end we kept coming back to one phrase that Jose used when we first met him. "I 'm the one who is going to be doing the work." There are a few highly rated licensed firms on Angie's list but only one who actually does the work. And sure enough, on day one, there was Jose in his Bobcat removing cement slabs and preparing the ground. His crew cut and laid pavers with meticuos precision and pride. He walked us through the whole process from permits to paving with patience and professionalism. Jose and company did a fantastic job. Needless to say we are very pleased and I would not hesitate to use his services again.

I'm curious about other reviewers and the prices they indicated for the amount of work, I was quoted about $1000 to pressure wash and seal about 1200 sq of pavers. Not as high as one other provider but higher than 2 others I checked.

There were some minor delays in scheduling due to the excessive rainfall in our area at the time of the scheduled work. Jose was the only contractor I could locate who would even look at repairs for a relatively small job. He came first to assess the need and provide a quote. Upon agreement with what needed to be done he was here at the earliest possible opportunity (in view of the weather). In fact he worked through some light rain showers in order to complete the job on the scheduled date. He did a complete "clean up" when the work was finished and was careful to leave things just as he found them. I would recommend Master Z for any paver work.

This is the second time I've used Master Z Pavers, and I'm equally as pleased as before. (First time was in October/November 2012.) An area of pavers needed an elevation/incline correction in order to not hold water during hard rains. I was so impressed with the work Jose and his employees did last year, that I called them back to address this issue. Again, Jose was prompt in his response, thorough in his assessment and plan, and flawless in its implementation. In one day, the pavers were removed, the elevation was corrected in regards to incline, the pavers re-laid as they had been originally, finishing touches were done, and the whole area was cleaned as if they had never been there. I will definitely call them again for any future jobs that arise.
