Look you rite in the eye and lie, I have used this joke of a company since Hurricane Irma. They installed a new Frigidaire AC unit with a 10 year parts warranty that I had previously gave them 5 stars up intel this week of 4/15/24 Another company working near the duct work snapped pictures of there work that I had trusted was rite all along, What a disgrace Lifetime had the cool air vent nailed up with two boards without the sheet metal collar that it affixes too, If that's not bad enough our AC just happen to go out of service the same week as this, Lifetime air was called out and told us the coil had a leak and parts were not available anymore for this machine so they sold us a new AC Unit for the price of $5,200 dollars . Here is complaint number two, When we called Frigidaire to recoup some of our warranty money We were told they are indeed still making this same unit and parts are plentiful We would have only had to pay for labor if we were not lied too, just horrible and we let these people in our home

Back in November, 2016........very good experience having LIFETIME AIR install a new central air system in my home. Very professional installation of a Rheem 3 TON unit by LIFETIME AIR employees....both outside unit and inside air handler unit were installed. Price was very good, install went smooth. Employees were professional, fast and clean. Would definitely recommend them !!!

Lifetime Air came promptly to give me an estimate. Estimate was significantly lower than other competitors. Installation was flawless. The two installers came at appointed time. Very professional and friendly. Fantastic job done. Supervisor later came to check on the installation and show me how to use the system. Installers made sure they cleaned up after installation was complete. Very happy with the job done.

Great. Had bad experience with Best Home services so used these guys. Had leak in old system and needed replaced. Had Best fill with freon but only lasted a few more days. The only bad thing was they were so busy they could not install for a week and it was over holiday weekend. They cam out and put 3 lbs of freon in once for free. We were down 4 days with no ac in july it was brutal. They put in 16 Seer Rheem unit for much lower than most of the companies were doing a 14 Seer for. I took about 6 hours to put it in my attic.

They did a phenomenal job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Refusing to return my $200 deposit. I spent several phone calls and emails attempting to resolve the issue but to no avail. I eventually went with another ac company and was very satisfied with them. I am still waiting for my deposit. I contacted the local TV station and they agree with me that the deposit should be returned. They have attempted several times to reach the company by phone but they do not reply. Would appreciate whatever you can do to have my money returned to me. Thank you. Karen Lee

Joe came and gave us an estimate and we set up a date for the install (Friday). The unit was installed and we were told to give it several hours to cool the house. After waiting 48 hours, the house was still at 86 degrees with a thermostat set to 79. We called Joe and he came out and said everything was working properly. When we questioned why the house was still hot his answer was that there was a problem with the insulation. He also said that the reason the house was hot was that the outside temperature was 90 and "what do you expect?". When asked what he planned to do to fix the problem, he again said the unit was working properly and he had no other responsibility and hung up the phone on my wife. The previous unit, when it was working, cooled the house fine so the insulation is adequate. I cannot believe that any reputable businessman would be so disinterested in the quality of the workmanship done by his company and would have no interest in trying to make things right 48 hours after the work was done.

Fantastic! Install team of Hector & Carlos were right on time, placed floor tarps from entrance door to work area. Both were professional & friendly. Hector explained the install process and commended work. Neat & clean finish, Impressed!!!

Joe was extremely efficient & knowledgeable. Hector and his partner were guilt while installing & all 3 were highly recommended by neighbors. The inspector said they had done exceptional work also. Price was very reasonable compared to other companies.

Joe came for the appraisal right on time. Installation day went without a hitch.

Great Service! We had orginally gotten several quotes for a new system and decided to go with Lifetime Air. Our old unit died before the scheduled installation date , but Joe rearranged their schedule and was able to move up the date for our new unit by a week. They were very thorough and professional. We appreciate how quickly they were able to install the new unit! Thank you!

We are part-time residents of the Ft. Myers area. Lifetime Air replaced package A/C units for a couple of my neighbors in similar mobile homes. Their quote was excellent and we heard no complaints. The unit was installed in November 2014. The crew arrived on time, installed the unit quickly and efficiently and all was good. I was very pleased with a prompt installation and the very reasonable cost. In September, we came to Ft. Myers for a few days. The first night, the A/C ran continuously. The next day it was no better, excessive run time and would not cool below 79 degrees in the afternoon heat. I called Lifetime Air complaining of poor system performance. Joel came by, put only one gage on the system, checked the supply and return air temperature and told me the system was working as well as it could. He told me that he wasn't going to charge me, but if he had to come back, we would be charged because our system was working normally. He tried to explain to me that the system in his new house ran all of the time and that it was normal. He told me that Ruud would probably laugh at him if he called them to complain about the system running too long. I probably made him mad when I told him that what he was telling me was bullsh*t. When a systen runs 100% and won't cool to a reasonable setpoint, it is either improperly sized or it is not working properly. Anybody who has ever owned an air conditioner knows that excessive run time is not normal for a system that has ever worked as expected. Since the unit worked well in June, it had to be a malfunction. Joel did not appreciate my criticism of him or the performance of the system. Later in September, I found a Lifetime Air serviceman completing a warranty repair for a neighbor and asked him to look at our unit again. I called the office and they agreed to have the tech look at our unit. The tech found low compressor suction pressure. He added a little gas and a dye used to find leaks. Later in the month, the same tech returned with the part he thought might be leaking, but did not find any leak. At this point, to paraphrase, Lifetime Air told me that there was no leak and there was nothing more they could do. I made several phone calls and got a recommendation on a very technically capable A/C serviceman. He told me over the phone that Ruud had issues with systems produced during certain months of 2013 and 2014. The oil could produce a sludge that could cause the expansion valve to malfunction. As I understand it, Ruud had sent a service bulletin about this to their dealers. They recommended adding a lubricant to the oil that might restore the system to normal function and break down the sludge. System rejuvination could take up to three days. He tested the system and showed me why he was certain that our expansion valve was stuck. He added the lube and the performance improved somewhat immediately. We left town and hoped for great performance when we returned. Unfortunately, when we came back the system was better but it would not keep up when it was hot outside. He came back, rechecked the system and then started to evaluate the duct performance with an air speed meter. He went under the trailer and found the main supply duct connecting the package unit to our trailer duct system had come loose and was pouring out much of the cold air that should have been going indoors. The supply and return ducts had been installed crossing on top of each other so that both were restricted. Duct connections were made in a manner that showed poor workmanship, fittings not held together with screws, tape used where a strap and tape both should have been used, ducts pinched down restricting air flow. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Our initial installation went well, but when we had a problem, this company was no help. I spent much more than we saved to get this system working and still have a poor quality duct installation. If you are flipping a property and want only low initial cost, these are your guys. If you want reliable service, look elsewhere. I sent the review above to Lifetime Air for comment before posting it. The only commend from the office manager was that it was "rude to go with somebody else" no comment on the facts involved. They refused to do competent troubleshooting and then blamed the customer. Not the kind of supplier I can recommend. Response to Lifetime Air comments. This company may say they stand behind their work, but their results didn't speak well for them in this case. During my last call to them, they offered no other options than to keep checking for leaks. Checking for refrigerant leaks was never going to fix anything. Ths real problem was under the house, flex duct had come loose and was leaking most of the cold air into the crawlspace. Lifetime Air failed to troubleshoot the system after three tries, so I hired a contractor who found and corrected the real problem on his second visit. (He did a compressor oil warranty service on the first call and made adjustments that improved system performance.) Lifetime Air never checked their flexible duct installation, never even suggested that it could be the problem. I hired a capable contractor to resolve the problem only after it was obvious that Lifetime Air was never going to find the problem.

lifetime air has replaced 3 systems for us in our rental homes in the last year. They are very professional, honest and had a great price. We are more than satisfied with their work.

I had a major problem with my air conditioner and contacted other local air conditioning companies to inspect my AC. I was told by all the technicians that my AC should be replaced due to the amount of labor cost involved with my repair and the fact I would gain a ten year warranty off of a new system. To make a long story short, I had a few AC companies come and check out the unit. The first company quoted me at $4000 for a 13 SEER AC replacement, the second company quoted me at $3000 for the same, and finally a friend highly recommended me to cal l Lifetime Air who came over and quoted me at $2400. I checked out Angies list and they came in highly recommended. Their BBB rating is poor, but buy with confidence and do not let that sway you, I highly recommend Lifetime Air. I scheduled the appointment and I had a last minute change in my schedule, they changed my install date without any issues and were very flexible with my schedule. They filed all the necessary permitting and scheduled the county post installation inspection around my schedule as well, even when I had a last minute schedule conflict. Joe and his technicians performed the installation professionally, kept the working area clean, fixed a previous air leak in my duct work, installed a new thermostat, air handler, and condenser unit (complete install) lower than the competition did. When the install was completed, Joe personally walked me through my new system and taught me everything I needed to know about it, and the new system that is installed is more user friendly than my old system. I highly recommend Lifetime Air fir the value and professionalism. Buy with confidence.

I am a french canadian snowbird and we live at Fort Myers from november to april. Its very important for us to leave the house with a central air conditioner in good shape. It was'nt the case whit the former one. I consulted Angies list and I found Lifetime air LLC and later I recognized his trucks in my community, I went talk to him ( Joe) and I was impressed by the crew. He make me a deal and a week after it's done, fast service and done correctly and properly. Claude

I was shopping to get the HVAC system that was quite old replaced in our home. I received a few quotes from business I found on Angies list and they were all about the same price. Then my neighbor told me he recently got his entire HVAC system replaced and he had used Lifetime Air LLC, and was very satisfied. I had not initially called Lifetime Air because I was only looking at the business on Angies list with the most reviews, which was a mistake. My neighbor invited me over to look at his HVAC system installation from Lifetime Air LLC , and what I saw was high quality professional work and the same Ruud /Rheem equipment I was interested in using and had been quoted previously. My neighbor told me he had an excellent experience and the company was highly professional and efficient in all aspects from initial contact to scheduling to installation etc. I called and requested an estimate and the owner responded quickly and answered all my questions in addition to providing an Unbeatable Price, much better than the other quotes I had received. I had some follow up questions probably more than most of their customers as I have a technical background, and they answered all my follow up questions as well. I scheduled the work with Lifetime Air and they were very accommodating allowing me to schedule the work on the day I wanted to get the work done. They arrived on time and the first thing they did was to lay down tarps from the front door to the location of the air handler located inside the house. The entire installation team was courteous, professional and highly experienced. You could tell they had installed hundreds if not thousands of these systems. When they completed the work they cleaned up everything inside and outside and you could not tell they had even been there, except for the new system now installed. A few of my neighbors came over and looked at the new system and they were impressed with the installation of the system and in particular the quality construction of the return and supply plenums. Lifetime Air actually replaced the existing return plenum which was too small with a larger plenum which they fabricated on site. The larger plenum quieted down the air being delivered to the supply vents. I'm am extremely pleased with their work and highly recommend them to all my friends and family members.
