KITCHEN CONCEPTS INC

Initially things went great. Sales person was attentive and knowledgeable. Took almost six weeks after measurements to get started, which was ok. They got 90% of the work done in 2 days and the kitchen looked excellent. The only problem was they measured a few of the doors wrong and it took them almost 5 weeks to get them. I had to stare at my sink pipes for over a month. Once that was done, the kitchen looked great. A few weeks later, I did notice a defect in the work. It was like pulling teeth getting someone out to look at it since they had been paid already. I tried to reach the owner, but he thinks he is above having to talk to customers and they wont give his number out. The job was never completed to my satisfaction.

We were very encouraged at the beginning of this project because of the positive response we had when we visited the showroom. The first few steps of the project went as we were told they would. (Someone coming out to give us an estimate and then a follow up measure and estimate confirmation). We made our final selections in the showroom on February 28, 2007 and used a credit card for the 50% deposit required before the job began. The job started on March 27, 2007. The "On Start" payment of 40% was made that morning over the phone with the same credit card. The remaining 10% balance would be due upon completion and walk thro with our approval. That 10% was charged on my credit card without my permission on March 30, 2007. The job had only just begun and would take one month to complete. I was unaware of the 10% charged without my permission until I opened my credit card statement. The quality of the work was substandard and the employees had no respect for our home.
