Service call went very well. Technicians arrived on time. They were courteous and through. Provided excellent service in a timely manner.

They were terrible, not only did they send young kids with foul mouths, they mickey-moused the A/C so the leak repair didn't even last. I would not recommend them, and I actually keep their information at hand just to remember NOT to call them.

They told us we had mold in some of our air vents (which was correct) and then performed a totally unnecessary air test with the chief operator wearing a breathing mask. He did not recommend that we should wear protection or the his two operatives should either. This was to scare us into quickly agreeing to his price for replacing our ductwork. We were disgusted by his tactics and used another company to solve our problem.

Prior to Kenmark air, I was using Direct Heating and Cooling who did not know how to conduct business in an honest manner or the correct way to service an air conditioning unit. Every call to them was a sales call. It was all about the money. Kenmark, from my single deal with them appear to be honest and well informed.

The guy they sent out didn’t know what he was doing originally I think. He said everything was okay. My air conditioning went out and so they had to make three trips, and they finally got it resolved to my satisfaction. They added the labor to the bill. They only charged me for the three trips and not for the last one. I don’t think I would have paid anything extra for the work they did. I will use them again and I will see how they go, and then decide what to do. I think the guy they sent out didn’t really know anything about water based units. He was more for a conventional air conditioning unit which they use for a home. We have water based units in our condo. He didn’t check the back flush and didn’t know how to do those kinds of things. I know how they check the water based units. I would use their services again in the future.

We now have an estimate from a BBB approved company estimating repair and replacement @ $33,000. Kenmark is not worth the headaches- they don't show up when supposed to, don't return calls, and even the owner postponed service call for ac out to "go hunting" left us in the Florida summer heat for the entire weekend till he got back.

They were a horror show to get them to do anything. When they anchored the compressor they only used two anchors. They left a flash light in the duct work. It was the worst experience of my life. After 5 visits to find the leak, we ended up calling another company and they found their flash light.

What I have found is that every year when the tech comes out for the maintenance check, they find something wrong. Some of the suggested fixes seemed far fetched. Now, when I have them out, I have no trust in them. If they told me the sky was blue I would think it was green. This year was no different. He gave me a list of what needed to be replaced. We needed a new slow start capacitor. The one we bought from them 3 years ago was bad. We needed new contacts. They were rusty and corroded. We needed a surge protector at the compressor. Even though we have whole house lightning/surge protection. I said thank you, we will think about it. He left quite angry. We called another company recommended by a neighbor. He came out within 2 hours. He found the slow start capacitor was fine. However the main capacitor was what tested bad not the slow start capacitor. The contact was indeed corroded and needed replacing. The surge protection was not even an issue.
