Description of Work: The service man was very professional. I had to reschedule several times which worked out fine. My issue is this same company serviced my 2 year old AC system and this year (the third year old AC system) had zero prion. So I had 3 tons of it put into the unit. Plus the location of my handler is in my garage attic so I had an emergency float valve installed to protect any overflow going into the ceilings of my home. These additional items cost me $300 that I was not prepared for in my budget. | |Therefore, I wanted to know ahead of time the cost to repair any leaks in my unit, I was told by the receptionist they do two diagnostics costing $230 to find out the problem. When I asked after they diagnose the problem what are the costs she did not know. So I asked to speak with the owner. He was not there that day so I called back the number she gave me the next day. | |When I called the company and asked to speak with the owner on estimated costs to discover reason of lost prion, my call was never returned by the owner. | |This lack of response made my decision easy and I will be using a service provider that deals with my type of AC system "Lenox" bc their knowledge of my unit will be more effective for the money I will pay. | |****My lesson learned was to have the maker of a unit be serviced by a company that specializes in the manufacturer name of the unit and not by a lower cost service company that does not have the professionalism nor the knowledge of Lenox AC systems. | |My Advice: | |Look into finding service companies that have specific knowledge in your unit before you hire them to do an annual maintenance, it will save you money in the long run.

Description of Work: Two staff Inspected the HVAC system in my home that we just moved in to. They were very professional, and explained everything thoroughly. There were no surprises with the information that they provided. My system is due to be replaced, but they said it was working adequately for now. No pressure! I will give them a call again when the time comes to replace the system.

It was good. Mr. Robertson was very nice. They finished the job. He just came out the other day to pick up some stuff that his men had left in the yard. I called him and he came out that day. He did a good job. The people that work for him were really nice.

They are very dependable, reasonably price, and they are very good at coming back if you had an emergency or if that's needed. Our a/c is older so there's always things that can happen. I would highly recommend them. They are very professional, polite, and pleasant.
Description of Work: What we did in our a/c is to have a regular annual check and we were having a little trouble with them as something that happens periodically. We have a water build up that keeps the a/c from coming on.

We have been with Island Aire since 1991 and they are a great company. They come four times a year because we have got a maintenance contract with them. They are very good and customer service oriented. I have recommended them many times for people who are looking for an air conditioning company. They are very reliable and reasonably priced. I have no intention of discontinuing my contract with them.
Description of Work: They come and just do a regular maintenance on the air conditioner. They check everything outside and inside and also make sure everything is cleaned. They were here in August to service our air conditioner.

Very well. Have been using them for 10 years.

Came home late at night to a very hot house. I was referred by a neighbor to Island Aire. I gave theme a call and a tech called back within 5 minutes. I Let them know the problem I was having and they came prepared with the parts necessary to fix the issues. When he arrived he was very professional and got right to work. Within 30 mins ac was back up and running. The price was not sticker shock either. I'd recommend Island Air to anyone with cooling concerns.

They never called us back to come and do our annual service. The previous company we had in another state always called us and scheduled the service.We did not hear from them so we decided to find a new company. We inherited their service from the previous owners of our home.

[removed member name] had purchased this home from one of our long time customers. Upon his purchase we agreed to fulfill the maintenance paid for by the previous owner with their approval. We had always renewed the agreements with a paper invoice through the mail through the previous owner and continued the same with [removed member name]. This however was not suitable and due to this the customer chose to find maintenance elsewhere. We wish him all the best and hope that we may be able to do business with him in the future.

I got a tax rebate for it. It had a high SEAR rating so I was able to qualify for the rebate. There are on the island and have been here for a long time so they are close. I was very pleased with their total installation. I think I paid a pretty good price and it was not particularly cheap. I think I paid pretty near top dollar. I haven’t had any questions since they installed it. They did a great job. They got it in on time and nicely. I haven’t had any problems at all. They came when they said they would. They were very professional. I would absolutely use them again.
Description of Work: I used Island Aire to put in a completely new unit. It is a combination heat pump/air conditioner. It is an outside unit. It is all in one and it is a single compressor unit.

They were recommended by somebody. I was very pleased with them. They were neat and did a good job. Their price was in line with what I had expected. I paid $6000 for the job. It certainly wasn’t the lowest, but I wasn’t looking for the lowest price. I was looking for the best and I got it. They responded in a reasonable way. I will use them again in the future.
