We accepted his proposal and gave him a deposit of $775.00 that same day. Did not show up as agreed on two different occasions, 12/3 and 12/28/13, to begin work. In both instances he did not telephone or email as to why he did not show up. After numerous attempts to make contact with him we finally spoke with him on 1/2/14. He offered no excuse for his non-performance. At that point we cancelled his contract and he agreed to refund our deposit. After several calls and emails we managed to catch him on his cell phone on 1/31/14 at which time he said that he had just mailed us our refund. Today is 2/13/14 and we still have not received it. It is our opinion that this contractor is unprofessional and operates in a fraudulent manner. We intend to take legal action.
Description of Work: Contractor gave us an estimate of $1,575.00 on 11/26/13 to install crown molding.
