HESSLER HARDWOOD FLOORING

Within 6 months the carpet was showing excessive wear and matting with very low traffic flow. The manufacturer recommends steam cleaning at 24 months. When Hessler was contacted for a warranty claim it was only 21 months from installation. We were told we had to get it steam cleaned before any claim support with the manufacturer rep. could occur. In addition, Hessler does not respond to email details about lack of warranty support. Upon posting reviews, they will call you but then nothing happens. Recommend avoiding this company - there are much more responsive flooring firms in the Fort Myers area.

Went to this store and picked out two tile options. Set an appointment for the salesman to come out and give us a quote. He did not show up. I called him and he said he wrote down the wrong time he would be over in 1/2 hour. He showed up about an hour and a half later.Showed me the paper where he said he wrote the wrong time, and he had written the right time on it. We explained to him that my husband had diagrammed the current layout of the tile on graph paper because none of my rooms are sq and it was not easy to get a good estimate. We told him we actually counted every single tile. He measured anyway, which is OK, but he was at least 50% high on the square footage. I had 3 other estimates Two were right in line with what we counted and two were higher, his being the highest by far. therefore his quote was the highest.. He also made some comments about another company that I felt were not appropriate. We ended up going with a top rated Angie's list installer who helped us buy the same tile from a wholesaler that we selected at this store. Tile and installation came to just under $3000.

They are an excellent carpet company and I will continue to use them in future.
