Description of Work: Craig came and estimated the job. Three weeks later the handyman showed up and said he couldn't fix the problem after all. He did one small job- probably .5 hr work- for the entire fee.

We are very sorry we did not do the work you anticipated. The delay of the work was related to the distance we were extending our service area. The Angie's list price for services did not state any travel time so we were obligated to perform our best under some very tough time constraints. This is no excuse, but I know you are aware if the distance we have to cover. It was really important for us to combine work orders so we could allow for travel time to be absorbed by us. As you are aware, the initial contact was not charged to your time for the project. As the estimator for this project, I spent two hours traveling to and from Sanibel at my expense. The technician was very concerned about the problem of wood rot under your gutter at the lanai, and advised of the problem with removing the pool screen to properly repair the wood. I was under the impression you were to call the pool cage installer to seek advise about removal, and at that time we were to re-visit your options. If this was not your understanding, I sincerely apologize. We stand ready to assist you at any future date to resolve any issues remaining and to adjust any outstanding hours or monies you believe you have not been fully credited.

Description of Work: I originallycontracted with Handy Vets (Craig Blume) to repair some rotted wood pieces around my roof.Prior to beginning the work, a friend accidentally hit and seriously damaged a stucco base around a column in the front of my home. It was a mess! Craig sent his employee David to do the repairs. David was outstanding. His repair job on the stucco base made it look better than the original one on the other side. David returned in a week to finish sanding and repainting the stucco plus the fascia repairs in front and back. He was punctual and productive. I will certainly keep Handy Vets on my speed dial.

Description of Work: This was a special deal--$199 for six hours of work. The owner met with me first to discuss possible projects and then we scheduled a day for it to be done. He came back with another worker and they completed several small projects. When they finished earlier than expected, the owner told me he'd keep my 30 minutes for me to use the next time I have a small task. The company's mission to support veterans gives us another benefit when we use their services. In all it was a great experience and I will certainly use them again.
