They have always been very responsie, prompt, courteous and professional. I have more jobs for them to perform as I have been so happy with my past experience. I would highly recommend Handy Vets.

Happy with the patching job on the wall. Unhappy with the poor paint job. A teenager could have done it as well. Still waiting to have the carpet repaired.

This is the second time I used Handy Vets. Once again, I cannot but praise the workmanship and professionalism. Everything was as promised and exceeded my expectations. Craig was super. He even came back, without charge, because of a small leak under the new sink. I will use this company again if the need arises. They offer accurate diagnosis, estimates based on what options I chose, and excellent work. That is why I do not understand some of the negative comments from other customers. But from this end, highly recommended!

I had seen reviews stating they had sent people unqualified to do the work. When talking with them they insured me that problem had been resolved. It has not. First day they left wood out in our driveway, I had told them they could put it in the garage as it looked like rain. It did rain, although they had put painters plastic over it., the wood was useless. When coming back with the new wood they backed into our mailbox. When they were putting it back up. I told them I had a bag of quick crete in the garage they could use. They did not feel they needed it. Day by day the mailbox sank, the post man would have needed a clown car to deliver the mail. They let wood get wet a second time. This time they left the painters plastic laying in the front yard. It killed a large circle of our grass. The job was poorly done and left unfinished. Boards were not straight and not sanded. This was a comedy of errors. Which did not leave us laughing. They did come back to make repairs. But overall we were left to finish the job.

They were prompt, professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful! I have added this provider to my favorites so I'll be sure to remember their phone number! I'll definitely hire them again!

The provider did drywall for ceiling but did not complete the job. They were contacted to patch ceiling and paint surface. They only patched the ceiling and did not return to paint ceiling. The job they completed was good but I would have thought that they would have planned to complete the entire job while they were there or schedule a time to return to complete the job.

The guy who hung the door did a good job and was very nice, but I had trouble with this company. Spent weeks trying to get them out here, always delaying or not showing up and not calling. When the door started not closing right, they did send someone out to fix it right away no charge, so that was nice. But I was kinda shocked by how expensive the one-day job was, so I complained and the owner knocked $100 off my bill. I found out it was expensive because they charge you $40/hr labor rates for the time they spend driving to your house and buying supplies ahead of time! Of course no one told me that up front. The owner said it was "industry practice" but I've had five or six other contractors do work for me and none of them have had that policy. And the owner came out for a second five-minute "evaluation" for no reason except it took him so many weeks to get people out to my place that he probably forgot what the job looked like, and then he charged me for that. Also I think he quoted me a lower labor rate in the estimate, but I couldn't remember for sure. So I had a friend call and describe the same job, and sure enough he quoted him a lower labor rate! Also he told me that it would take a long time because he had to "order" my very generic, plain, standard exterior door. Then he didn't show up and didn't call, said later it was because the door he ordered had a dent in it, then he just shows up the next day with a door. Did he order another and it arrived in 24 hrs? Was there never really a dent in the door? Did he never even special order a door? Who knows. My gut feeling is this guy is shady and I would stay away. Workers were nice though.

Not a large job, but the Happy Vets did a great job. Highly recommend.

They came out twice to look at the job but they needed to consult about it internally. They said I'd hear from them by Monday but I have not yet. I did not use the deal.

We scheduled the appointment and followed up with Craig, the owner. Adam is the gentleman who performed the service. We couldn't have been more pleased! This is an OUTSTANDING company filled with great people. They are knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and honest. And they employ veterans who are in need of work. It is without hesitation that we recommend Handy Vets!

The sheetrock replacement took one day. Chuck was very professional and quick. When he left the sheetrock was in place and he had simulated a knockdown texture in one bath and orange peel in the other. We did the painting as we were painting the house. The tiling took a few days and we had a walk in shower and area surrounding a bathtub. Craig, did the tile. It turned out BEAUTIFUL the tile goes from the floor to the ceiling! Craig really knows how to tile and he takes such pride and care in the work he does. He worked hard. I don't recall him taking a lunch break or any break at all. He knew exactly how to mark-up the project prior to getting started. He knew exactly how much product we would need. There is no doubt Craig is an expert in tile. Craig was also able to deal with some unforeseen issues such as adjusting the walk in shower drain. My husband and I did the demolition prior to the job so we were able to save a little $$. We also had to have a plumber come in prior to the job as the plumbing was a disaster in both bathrooms.

I had a mediocre experience with them. They sent different people that do different jobs. I wouldn't have the guys who did this job back.

Very happy with first service. BUT called a second time for additional interior repairs and never received a call back. Not sure why.

Excellent work on both the door replacement and pet door installation. I will definitely use them again.

The coat put on to smooth the ceiling before painting was disappointing. It has a rough, semi finished look. They did not do a good job of describing what it would look like.

A first-class professional operation! Replaced rotted wood and some good wood trim w/hardy board around exterior of home to prep for exterior painting. Located and repaired shower leak affecting an outside area, installed grab bars in a bathroom and replaced water supply valve on toilet. The lead contractor,Tom, proved to be very proficient and creative in regard to this project along with his assistant, Justin.

Not well. Appointments made to discuss the tile work to be completed were not kept and no telephone calls from them advising me that they would be a no show. The last straw was when their tile installer was not even advised that he was scheduled to commence the tile installation on January 13, 2015. He was also to obtain tile samples in addition to the ones that I gave him on our initial appointment on November 10, 2014. Very disorganized and unprofessional and very disappointed. . I was sorry that things did not work out because I am highly proud and supportive of our veterans and was initially very happy to give them job.

Craig was amazing. Very professional and genuine. His craftsmanship was simply remarkable. He supplied all materials needed except for last minuet upgrades we purchased. The material he used was high quality (something I was concerned before the project) . I will use him again along with the Handy-Vets ( I love the concept).

The jobs were professionally handled and expertly done. Friendly and skilled craftsman completed the work in a timely manner. It was a very good experience and we would enthusiastically recommend this business. I would hire them again in n a heartbeat. Thank you!

CABINETS HAD TO BE ASSEMBLED AND SET UP IN GARAGE. THE MEN ARRIVED ON TIME, WERE EFFICIENT AND COURTEOUS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
