We are very happy
Description of Work: We had some heavy pictures hung, caulking behind the sink and in the shower as well as installing a grab bar in the shower. Did not take very long. Adam was very good and professional. There was dust left behind from the wall penetrations and Craig did not pass on that he needed gray caulk so we had to run out to get it. My advice is to talk with the handyman who is coming to the shop and review the whole scope so he comes with what he needs.

Description of Work: A variety of skilled individuals completed multiple projects at my residence in Naples, FL this fall over the course of several weeks. These projects ranged from a new tile shower in a small master bath to applying an epoxy garage floor finish to installing wooden plantation shutters and a new bathroom exhaust fan, laundry sink and laundry dryer vent. As the original list of projects was added to, I found it very reassuring that the general contractor Craig Blume could willingly provide skilled and hardworking workers to complete the original projects and more. I would highly recommend hiring this group.

As we have indicated in the past, anything below an "A" grade is unacceptible to our service team. We do our best to respond to every opportunity given our firm. Whether it be a free estimate or a major project, we want everyone contacting us to feel they are special. In this case, we were contacted and asked to provide an estimate for building a plant shelter. We researched the project and found the local authorities would be requiring an approved plan and building permits with inspections, for this type of structure. As licensed building contractors, we have no option but to comply with the local and state regulations..We explained to the client he was at the edge of our service territory, and for us to commit the necessary resourses and time to build his plant shed, would be cost prohibitive to perform the required work. We were sorry for not being able to assist, but we did recommended he contact a local contractor who would provide a more competitive price. If we offended him, by our recommendation, we apologize and wish him well with the project

We are always very interested in our reviews. Anything short of an "A" generates an internal audit of how our service can improve. However, in this case we can find no information on this customer's call. It is unfortunate for everyone when we miss this type of opportunity to show our abilities. We are a growing company and do our absolute best to make sure every client is served. If we miss someone with a call back, we would hope they would consider calling a second time and explain the situation. In this case, we cannot find any record of a call. We are not perfect, but we try our best, and hope our clients know we really care about their business.

Craig came to our home and gave us an estimate, he was very nice and professional. We received an Big Deal offer that we had already paid for. We had wanted two estimates, one if we remained in the home and another if we would sell. We are not able to afford the first estimate and received the second estimate to do work for what would cover the payment we had made. With health issues and many appointments, etc we were unable to get back to him immediately. We called while he was at an estimate on Nov. 11th, he said he would return our call in half an hour. Today is Thursday and no return call. Due to health issues, I would appreciate a refund. I do believe if he had completed the job, he would have been efficient. Thank you.

It is with a great deal of humility I respond to the comments of [removed members name]. She and her husband, [removed members name] are in need of some extensive work to bring their home back to top condition. I personally inspected their residence and provided the estimates for the work necessary. When I learned of the health issues, I revised the estimates to cover just the basic repairs required. As [removed members name] stated, the issues we encountered concerning health became a communication problem and I must take total responsibility for not continuing to be more persistent in my efforts to contact them. I honestly believed they were going to tell me what they wanted to do related to the repairs and how extensive to make my work order. We hired Craig, John, and Dave to gut and remove most all of the interior of our recently purchased Ft. Myers house. The house was on the rental market for some time and in need of major upgrading. They came in, removed three 14 yd dumpsters of old materials (pink and teal!). They removed all the carpet, floor tile, thinset, counters, cabinets, appliances, overhead soffits, and about everything else in the house. They did some light remodeling work done to fit new appliances. They replaced sections of sheet rock from pet damage. They primed the entire interior, lanai and painted the ceilings while we painted the walls ourselves. They always came to work on time, did the work on budget and were a pleasure to work with. Craig was very easy to deal with when additional work or problems came up. Very reasonably priced and very professional! We are VERY pleased with their work and will be giving them additional work as we finish the remodel and begin to move in. Hire these guys, they earned it!

At first, we liked this company because it employs veterans who have served our country. Now we like it because it did the job we needed professionally, timely, and at a reasonable cost. Craig, the owner of the company, not only installed the disposer we had purchased, but also checked out our old disposer to determine if we really needed to replace it. (We did.) We were sufficiently impressed with this work to have him look at a broken electrical outlet in our floor, which he replaced in a few minutes with parts in his truck, saving me the $40 I had spent on an electrical kit. Craig was knowledgable, friendly, competent and punctual, actually showing up well before the appointment time. We will definitely call Handy Vets again the next time we have a household task I'm not able to do.
