Generators By Design LLC

We put down nearly $8000 in April and still do not have the generator. They will not return phone calls or respond to texts. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and will also be following with the DBPR and the Florida attorney general.

7 MONTHS AND STILL WAITING FOR THE GENERATOR I PAID FOR.

Working with Generators by Design has been a complete disaster! We put half down on a generator over two years ago and still do not have it. Have been told by Nathan (one of the owners) since June, 2023 that it was in warehouse in Tampa and just waiting to get it shipped down to Naples. Now he does not return phone calls, text or emails. We will have to resort to legal action at this point to get them to finish our job or refund our deposit of over $15k. I strongly suggest you look at other companies for your generator! The company was very thorough and fixed the problem in one day. We were very impressed with them.

I had a Kohler generator installed by Generators by Design. All employees were excellent, no short cuts, all of them knew what they were doing, and the end result was excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a generator installed. They are an A plus company.
