Description of Work: They put in our patio last summer. It was put together backwards at the shop so it had to be disassembled at our site. Then they left a mess in our yard. Before we made our final payment we insisted they come to finish. I truly believe they would not have come if they weren't waiting on payment. After the recent tornado it took over a week to get someone to call us and their estimate was 2times what others quoted. We will not be calling them again even though we were under warranty..

Description of Work: Added onto the lanai to extend the length of the house. They poured the pad and footer and then we had to wait months for the cage due to their workload. Called nemerous times to get on a schedule for install and got nothing but false hope. Sales said they had no pull on scheduling and we just had to wait. In parallel, we refinished our pool and added a Baja swim shelf by another company. The pool was completed prior to the cage being added which cost 13k. When they were building the cage they dropped nemerous screws, metal shavings, and rain gutter debris in the new pool which caused us major problems with the pool pump and filtering. I called FabriTech and complained and they said they will clean the pool but nothing has been done to date.

Description of Work: Built and installed pool screen enclosure. The end result was good. There were a couple of issues, but they were fixed. The sales side was poor. To make the sale, the salespersons were attentive, but followup afterward was lackluster. We would recommend the company for the quality of the product, but not for the sales team or the installation team in that they only provided two persons to install (one with little experience), and we were delayed in getting the job done correctly because of that.

+ 0 moreI originally used this company years ago to install my pool enclosure, and I have to say, they did a good job. Over the years the paint on many of the rails have chipped quite a bit. When I called their office to request an estimate, the lady who answered the phone said it would probably be a week before someone would call me back. When she did call back, she said she had stopped by my house to check it out. She/they decided the job was too small and not worth it to them. (There are at least 15 rails that need to be replaced.). I was shocked that this was their response. I informed her that her company was the one that originally installed the cage, and couldn't believe they wouldn't stand behind their product......I wasn't looking for anything free! She had a very matter-of-fact attitude, and just said "I'm sorry you feel that way". With this kind of customer service, I would never recommend this company. To me, the customer service should be the main goal of any service-related company.

+ -1 moreInitially, the folks giving us the estimate promised us good service, punctuality, etc. However, the installer came with the wrong sized door, and promised to come back the next day with the correct door to install. He came the next day, and then left early to supposedly work on an emergency call. He never cleaned up the second day after installing the correct door, and he was supposed to repair a couple of screens for us, which he never did. Follow up phone calls to get an estimate on replacing an entire pool screen were never done. We phoned twice to get an estimate; the first time the one answering the phone claimed they never got the call. A second phone call placed by us 2 weeks later, we were promised that someone would come by the end of that week to do the estimate and no one ever showed up. We never received an estimate for the replacement for the pool cage. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

+ 0 moreThe quality of materials, attention to detail on site, addressing any concerns, and professionalism of the workers was excellent. The only aspect of the business that could improve is responsiveness and communication. Often, we did not know when a crew was coming to work on our lanai until they came to our front door. I know that they have numerous projects under contract with many homeowners that makes communication and scheduling difficult.
Description of Work: Constructed/Added an extension to our existing lanai including pavers and a screen enclosure. They also constructed a matching extension from our existing sidewalk (pavers) to the lanai.

+ -1 moreHe is really good about fixing lanai. Their company specializes in "picture window" screens. They were very helpful because we had to relocate a lanai screen door and they did at it no extra charge.

IT TOOK A LITTLE BIT OF MOTIVATION TO FINALLY GET A HOLD OF NICK KEMERER ( FABRI-TECH ) BUT GIVEN THAT THIS COMPANY ERECTS 15 OF THESE ENCLOSURES PER DAY, I CAN UNDERSTAND THAT, NOW. THE LANDSCAPING ASPECT AS WELL AS THE ENCLOSURE ARE FANTASTIC. WHEN DEALING WITH NICK , YOU GET THE FEELING THAT ALL WILL GO WELL AND ALL DID, IN THE TIME THAT TOOK FROM INCEPTION TO FRUITION TWO OF OUR NEIGHBORS HAD APPROACHED US THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS AND ASKED IF WE WERE SATISFIED. WHEN WE TOLD THEM HOW SATISFIED WE WEE THEY ALSO SIGNED ABOARD WITH NICK KEMERER AND FABRI-TECH. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PRICE SHOWN ALSO INCLUDED THE ARTIST RENDERING AND ALL OF THE PERMIT ACQUISITION AND FILING HERE IN SANDOVAL.

Description of Work: I hired Fabri Tech out of the Home Mag with a $25 coupon for any Baby Barrier pool fence order. Getting them to do an estimate wasn't great. They just pulled up my info from the county website specs and based it off that. I had no idea what to expect with the fence to look like - even up to the installation day! No one ever came by to walk me through it. The sales rep had the wrong address on the invoice (I corrected him several times) which caused major problems. I live in Naples and the address was in Ellington. The day of the installation, I waited for the person from 8:30 - 11 AM. No one ever came. I called the company and they had sent the tech up to Ellington instead of Naples..... just a little bit of a difference!!!! I had to have the fence put in the next day because of their mistake. Luckily, the tech was right on time the next day, and got right to work showing me (finally) how the fence would look when he was done. He got it up and it looks great! Very happy with the finished product - but for the price, not worth the experience!!
