+ -1 moreExcellent work! Cory had all the parts on the truck and completed the job in a timely manner. He was respectful of an aging AC unit (19years). AC is cooling nicely and should prolong the life of the unit for another 6 months. I will call Dean Fite, Inc. for a new unit when needed.
Description of Work: Repaired 19 year old AC to last a little longer.Cooling very well! Cory worked effectively, efficiently, and was respectful of an aging machine, efficient with all pa, and parts on the truck, and completed the job in good time.

+ -1 moreI was very pleased with the service. The same problem happened with my first A/C compressor years ago and at that time I first went with a another A/C company. That technician came and made a short term repair and said that I needed to a new A/C unit and that he would send a saleaman out to my house the next day. The A/C worked, but then I noticed bare wires showing in the outside where the repairs were just made by the twchnician from the other company. I found Dean Fite's name in the yellow pages-yes it was that long ago and contacted him. Dean came out himself at that time looked at the repair and fixed it. He said that the way that the other company tech repaired it would have cause the A/C unit to blow out or something like that. Dean correct the problem and said that my A/C was in good working. The price was very reasonable. I called his company, Dean Fite Inc. again when the present problem arose because I was satisfied with Dean Fite's work, honesty and fair pricing. YES-I would use Dean Fite Inc. from now on when I need any maintenance or repair on my A/C unit.
Description of Work: A/C stopped blowing cool air on a Thursday late afternoon. I contacted Dean Fite Inc.and a Technician arrived to repair the A/C the next day. The technician was courteous, clean, and knowledgeable. He inspected the A/C system, informed me what was wrong with the system, and repaired it. The problem ended up being minor. I mentioned the AL discount and received it with no problem. The A/C works fine now. The technician did not attempt to sell me another A/C , like I had experienced with other A/C companies.

Gave a/c a "tune-up" without trying to sell me additional or unnecessary services and gave me some money saving tips. Top notch!

+ -1 moreSince it was 89 degrees outside and only 88 inside I opted not to hang out with him. He did take me out and showed me exactly what was needed and did show me the old part that also needed to be replaced. I could tell right away that the cool air w starting was already starting to bring the temperature down and that was really all I needed to know. I will be using Dean for all my future heating and cooling needs.
Description of Work: The outside portion of the AC unit started sparking in the middle of the night. I called Dean this morning and explained to him I had to be at work during the day but had hoped he could come out late afternoon to see what the problem was. He scheduled a 4pm appointment arrived pretty close to that time. He was very knowledgeable and immediately set me at ease by explaining the problem and what he needed to do . He finished in about 1 hour and the bill was much less than I had anticipated. I will most definitely use him again and I can honestly say he is a contractor you can put your trust in.

Description of Work: Dean was recommended to me from My Realtor when my lender required that I get the air looked at because the system was not working. The bank asked that I get professional opinion because they said that the seller would reduce the cost of the house if there were a major problem. Dean’s company came out to look at the system twice and both times the prognosis was good. Just a Freon charge was necessary and everything was good. I was glad to hear there were no major problems. However, I was ready for a problem, as the seller would cover the cost. Sure enough, three weeks after moving into the house the air goes out. And guess what. A leak in the coils. Dean gave me an estimate of 5,000 to fix it. I am so mad at Dean’s because they cost me 5,000 when I could have got this done for nothing at closing. I wanted a professional and I did not get that. Dean said he was going to work with me on the cost to fix it and four months later, I have not heard a word. He went MIA.

+ -1 moreService Experts Heating & Air Conditioning made almost the same offer, but with a professional checkout of all ventilation system before they offered me the system that would be needed in strength as well as in size to fit it at the space we had for the new A/C. All over all a perfect an professional Information?s without the pressure to make immediate decisions. I could chose the brand and take a few days to make me an opinion. Although the day after my choice the change was made with a perfect Service on time, and very clean.
Description of Work: We have Dean Fite since I bought my Condo. The Service is organized from the Association. The years 2002 to 2006 the Service went from good to Fair… but still okay The Service later started to go down in quality until bad/lousy. If it would be possible, I would search for another Service-Provider (in fact I would know whom to ask for). So I have to pay still the fee for the D.Fite service like everyone, but I purchase/pay for another Company I trust to come! (Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning) The offers for a new A/C are good, let’s say fair price. Some installations are looking good in some units some look not so clean and good. I checked a few projects he has made in our neighborhood. -But additional Work is offered from Dean Fite without checking, if it is possible to do or not. -I asked 3 companies to make me an offer and to find a solution for additional ventilation systems. -The additional added-offer for 1-2 ventilation stacks was checked from the 2 other companies after a view at the attic and the work was immediately declined. But for Dean Fite it was no problemmwhat so ever, not having had a look at the future construction side. This I name unprofessional. I do not know, if Dean Fite workers are NATE proved professional, what is very important. Their attitude and help did not look like.

I had lots of guestions and he explained everything and answered all me questions.Was very impressed and they also had a good price.They showed up on time removed the old unit inside and out and had the new a/c system and thermostat in the same day. They did a good job everything looks great .A/C has been in a couple weeks now and has been working great. Would highly recommend this company.
