Called for a quote and Shawn was here the same day and explained what they would need to do. Scheduled within a week and called about a hour before coming out. The crew was very respectful to us. They assessed how each crew member was going to work and did exactly what they said. They worked very good together and were careful to not cause damage to themselves or our home. There was no mess left behind. The guys used manners. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we will be using again for trimming our tree's.

They had an excellent quality of work.

They did most of what they were suppose to do minions about 4 hours of work I had to do to finish the job and I had to hire another company to complete the tree removal and another contractor to repair damages to the properties which cost me an additional $1200.

Called Davie Tree Services (Shawn) last week just before TS then Hurricane Hermine passed in the Gulf. Shawn said they would be out in a fews days as the weather conditions have complicated scheduling. A few days later, almost the first non-rainy day after calling, Davie Tree was out to trim our queen palms as usual for the last 17 years, twice a year. As is typical, they asked me how I wanted them trimmed and did it exactly the way I like them. At one point, they called me out to show me that one of my trees was unfortunately showing evidence of disease and would have to be removed sometime in the future. In the past 17 years, those predictions have always been spot on. I will be certain to have them remove that tree when that time comes. I am surprised that anyone could give Davie Tree a bad review. They are not perfect (who is), but they have always done whatever I asked that was reasonable and fair to both parties in order to resolve any issue. I will not call Any Other Tree Service. I just won't. Thank you Shawn and crew! See you in a six months!

I could not be more pleased with the work done by Davie Tree Service. After dealing with another tree service whose owner didn't return calls for weeks, I finally got smart and searched for another service. I called Shawn Sullivan, owner of Davie Tree Service, late on Wednesday afternoon. He returned my called early the next morning and was on site to give me an estimate before 9 am. He said he could do the job the next morning, quoting me a price that was better than three other competitors. I hired him immediately. As promised, four young men arrived Friday morning, fully equipped to handle that tree. I commend Cody Coggains, Joey "Chipper" Chapman, Cal Schaeffer, and Matt Kindred for their competence, efficiency, and friendliness. The tree was large and nestled precariously in a narrow space between two houses. I was a bit anxious not only because of its size, but for the way the overhanging branches spread over two roofs and a car port. The fabulous four assured me that the surrounding structures would suffer no damage. They were true to their word. Alacrity and dexterity were the words of the day! When the 'fab four' were finished taking down that tree, they cleaned up all debris and hauled the branches and logs away. It doesn't get any better than Shawn and the crew from Davie Tree Service! Shawn, I hope you give those guys a bonus for their exceptional work.:) I will be calling in the near future to have that stump ground out. Many thanks, Naomi Kelly

I called twice to have this company come out to provide a quote for tree removal. Never received a return call.

It went well , the large tree were removed professionally and they even trimmed an additional tree for me without any extra charge. Great Crew!

Our six large palms and numerous live oaks were in desparate neen of trimming. We contacted Davie Tree Service and Shawn was at our the next day to provide pricing and some suggestions on options. Based on their very good reviews and a great price, we hired them. A few days later, Shawns team headed by Cal come in and trimmed all 6 palms, 13 live oaks, removed one live oak and it's stump, removed two large nuisance plants, trimmed two large fruit trees, and cleaned up everything. We now have views from inside our house that had been completely blocked by overgrown everything. My wife and I couldn't be happier. From now on, I'm leaving the palm trimming (and all other tree work) to Davie Tree Service. If you are looking to hire a tree service, don't pass these guys up.

Shawn Sullivan and his crew were awesome. Prompt, polite, simply wonderful to work with. They actually came early did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. My yard barely looked like they were there except that the trees were no longer there. The price was more than fair for the effort and work they completed. Thank you and would definitely hire again and definitely recommend!

This company BUTCHERED my trees, left all kinds of limbs that needed trimmed, killed 2 smaller tress & broke my block fence. Has since tried to repair fence, going on a month and still not finished. When asked to return to finish job the owner (Shawn) said no and good luck. I have been more than patient and can't believe that Davie Tree Service is so highly rated on most websites. Employees are not presented well to say the least, I was unable to be here (because you can not get them to come on a date they say they will) kinda freaked out my fiancé. I have tried to be nice to get the job completed but have given up on that Idea.

Trees hadn't been pruned - ever - and looked like it. Arrived on time and fully trimmed, ground up, and all the rest for nearly 2 full days...a big job. Results were excellent and will aid in airflow and storm protection. Fully please. Do I wish it cost less? Sure, but bid was similar to other, less competent firms. Fully recommend.

I'm so happy I found Davie Tree Service on Angie's List! This is the third tree service I've tried, and I've finally found a winner! Shawn promptly returned my call and a gave me a very fair price for the work to be done. He was able to do the work the following week. Everything was done when he promised it would be and there was no mess left behind! I highly recommend Davie Tree Service! They are an outstanding company to do business with. Thank you, Shawn!

Was pleased with the promptness of the quote and service, however this provider was extremely rude and unprofessional. I received an invoice and paid in two weeks but received multiple horribly rude and unprofessional phone messages regarding payment. If you want immediate payment, provide a due date on your invoices. I would never recommend, as no one should be treated this way when you are paying for a service.

The job went smoothly, There company showed when they said they would. Their crew was pumped up ready to work. They where in and out in one day. The trees are gone and it looks like they were not even here they cleaned up so nicely. I would refer then to any neighbor friends or family.

Shawn did excellent work. In order to save the tree that had years ago been planted too close to the screened lanai, Shawn used an older chain saw and cut about 6 inches into the ground and cut that portion of the bottom of the bark that was growing the same direction. He told me he did not think it would grow back; however, if it does to call him and he will come and do the work needed "free of charge." Shawn and his helper also moved some heavy pavers that I needed placed. Work was done over and beyond the agreed. I had called several other tree companies and they all were not helpful in saving the tree...and their prices were higher. Shawn, thank you for a job well done. We will keep you in mind for future tree work.

They did exactly what I wanted, they showed up on time and cleaned up and the price was very fair. What more could I ask for? Shawn is a real loud talker so don't let that put you off, he's a nice guy who works around loud equipment so it sounds like he's yelling but he's just loud. He returned my call right away and answered all my questions and provided a written estimate on the spot. I'm totally satisfied with the job and would use the company in the future if I need tree service again.

Sean was quick to get back to me and came out to the house working with my schedule to provide a specific quote. I talked to several other services and got a mediocre response. We agreed on the service and price and immediately set a date for the work to be completed. The price was very good compared to others. His crew showed up on time and did exactly what we wanted. Several of the palms that needed to be cut down were leaning heavily towards the house and pool cage and they dropped them without any problems at all. They removed all the debris and you would never have known they were there in terms of clean up. Fantastic job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Trimmed the queen palms all around my property. Cleaned up all debris, couldn't tell anybody had been here. A few of the palm trees are over 30 feet high. Palms look great as usual. I have been using Davie Tree Service (and Shawn Sullivan) for 14 years now. I tried an other when Davie was not available after a hurricane, but was sorry that I did. I will not use anyone else, ever again. Davie Tree Service ONLY!!!

I called Davie Tree Service after reviewing them on Angies List. Shawn answered and set an appt. to come over and give an estimate. Shawn showed up on time and we walked the property. I wanted the three palms trimmed and two large laurel oak trees raised a bit. Shawn looked things over and gave me a price to trim everything up. I felt very comfortable with him and his company. I told him to go ahead with the project. We set a date to do the work and the guys were here as said they would be. All I can say is they worked hard trimmed two large laurel oaks and three palms to my satisfaction. The price was good, and the work was good. When I need tree work done I always call Davie Tree Service. The owner Shawn gives great prices and is a professional business owner. I called him on Tuesday and told him what work I needed done and he came by later that day and gave me an estimate. Once he scheduled it his crew showed up that Thursday morning ready to work. Michael the climber was informative and professional. He removed the tree and kept all the debris off my fence, shed , and power lines, it was amazing to watch how the crew used the ropes to keep everything right where they needed it. They removed the tree and hauled it all away, then later that same day the stump grinder came and ground the stump. I would recommend DAVIE TREE SERVICE for any and all tree work removal or trimming.
