Excellent!! Brandon was very patient and kind explaining new units and helping us make a decision. He said we could call him anytime, which we have done. He always answers promptly and politely. He even made an extra trip to provide temporary fans and another trip to help us with the thermostat. The installers were timely and swept after they completed the job. We have no complaints. Highly recommend!!

They were very professional, punctual and informative regarding the whole process. What was nice for me is that they took their time to evaluate the problem with the AC and to fix it. I can recommend them as a trustworthy company!

Called on a Saturday morning and they came right out to fix our a/c. The technician did great work!

Darren worked on my AC unit. He called ahead to let us know exactly when he would arrive, and did so. He systematically analyzed and found the cause of the problem (air handler not functioning properly). He first checked the thermostat and found nothing coming on, then checked the attic to check for power, line and low voltages, then the breakers for indoor and outdoor unit in the main panel. He then found that the previous company had a hose stuck in drain clean out allowing air handler to pull water into air handler and cause the safety switch to short cycle system and cause compressor to hum. He then removed the hose and poured water down the line and capped the clean out. He cycled the system on and checked for system operation, and then went to the rear of the home to check drain line and found it did not have a proper trap. He then turned existing piping on all drain lines to create a trap. He did this not only for the unit at issue but also did the same for the other adjacent AC units (the drains for which were also not trapped). He then checked to confirm that the drain was operating normally. Darren is a true professional. He went above and beyond. I would highly recommend him !

Everything went very well, everyone from the salesman to the office to the installers were professional and pleasant. Definitely will be using their company again.

The service tech came out very quick and checked the unit and found the problem. He was very knowledgeable. The part was under warranty thru the manufacturer (that another company had installed). He said he would have the shop give me a call with the amount. They called back very soon with a price of approximately $950.00. I stated the part is under warranty and she said I'll have talk to someone else and call you back. She did with a price of approximately $850.00. I knew this was way too much just for service. I call another A/C company and had it installed for half of what these guys wanted. This was after reviewing this company on Google and Angie's list. Not very impressed!

Certified is top notch. The salesman was exceptionally knowledgeable and not too pushy. When I called to tell them that we were ready to go forward, they were able to schedule us for the next day. The workers arrived on time and did a great job carting away the old unit and setting everything up for the new one. When installation was complete, they cleaned everything nicely. They were very responsive to my questions (and I always have a lot) and the folks in the front office were extremely pleasant whenever I called.

It is not simple. Had I had a very simple job that was take out the old one and put in a new one just like it. They were very economical. They did journeyman work. They would have been good for that kind of job. I had a complex project with a number of preexisting problems that they were unqualified to address. They were inexpensive. You get what you paid for. I had a back pressure problem and they told me it was working just fine. They were not up to the level that I needed for the problems that I had. I had to fight with these guys everyday. The price was superior. I would consider using them again if it was going to be a straight forward project. If I wanted someone to solve problems, measure ducts, and explain things to me these are not the guys. If I need someone to turn wrenches for cheap I would use them. They need to work on problem solving, patience in getting to the root cause of the problem. The workers were polite. My first impression in the bid process is that they were highly responsive. I happened to call on a Saturday afternoon thinking I would leave a message and have someone call me on Monday. I had someone call me back Saturday within the hour. It just so happened the guy answered the phone. I wouldn't expect that. If you have a simple job, straight forward these guys are price competitive.

Technician was very thorough and explained various options to me should I need to replace the system. He showed me various parts of the system and described their function. He did a thorough job cleaning out the lines and was very professional in his service delivery.

We use certified for annual maintainable and we also had our ducts cleaned as they were very dusty. Excellent service, very good work and honest staff. Thank you

Every aspect of my experience dealing with Certified Heating and Cooling was handled very professionally and I was very pleased with their services. From my initial phone call which was handled by Debbie, to the outstanding job that the tech Daniel did for me to get the A/C up and running again, I couldn't have been more pleased. Besides fixing what was wrong, Daniel also thoroughly inspected and cleaned the entire A/C system, as part of their "Blue Ribbon Maintenance System." There were no "Surprises" and they took care of my problem and got me up and running the same day, like they said they would. All their reviews on Angie's list were very positive, and I see why. I would't hesitate to use them again.

Matt was knowledgable, kept me informed, and left NO mess.

Dennis diagnosed problem. Chris F and Jordan B did the installation. Everything went smoothly and on time.

I sent a message via Angie's and got immediate proposals from Lisa. I liked that the mfr of the heaters, Built Right, is local. Made me feel more secure regarding warranties. The prices were a little high for me at first,but then I received notice of a much better Angie's Deal which Certified honored. Two efficient guys did the work only a week later and didn't leave until we confirmed that we were getting heat separately in both the pool and spa.

These people are highly professional and keep in touch. I got a text message when someone was on the way and a phone call if there was a need to reschedule. When I called the office I got a satisfactory response. When there was a problem, they took care of it very professionally. They did what they said they would do, including installing a new filter (for which they called ahead to ask the size). Excellent people.

Outstanding Company!!! I self-manage a couple of income properties in Fort Myers, FL, while residing in Buffalo, N.Y. The distance CAN make it very difficult sometimes, but Lisa and Matt at Certified Heating & Cooling, Inc., made fixing my air conditioning problem a breeze. Everything was handled extremely professionally and affordably. There were no "extra problems," excuses, BS, or $$$ up-sells here... just fast, courteous, neat & professionally performed services, at a very reasonable price. They even made suggestions as to how they could structure my repairs to be less expensive. What more could you ask for? Lisa and Matt could not have been anymore helpful or kinder. I am very pleased with Jordan. Friendly, focused, and gets the job done. He showed up quickly, found what was causing the overflow pan to fill up and drip into the garage and cleaned out the buildup of sludge in the coil area.He vacuumed out the PVC pipe going to the outer wall and didn't try to sell me refrigerant and installed a new air filter in the return duct for me. Let me start by saying . from the person who took my call to our service tech, they're very professional, go above and beyond and treat you like friends and family. In short these folks are great So here's what happened; I came home from work, the house was hot as heck, and ac blower was running on high. A quick look at the AC unit outside and, I seen the Fan wasn't spinning and the entire A/C unit was very hot. After a miserable night without AC, and knowing this was going cost allot of money I called Certified heating and cooling. I spoke with Lisa, who was able to have a tech (Matt) to the house by noon the same day. Matt was Great! He's a very nice guy and explained the issue in terms a non HVAC people (like me) can understand. After he finished diagnosing the issue, and checking the AC unit, and much to my relief, he told me that the unit was not toast and only the fan on AC unit itself needed to be replaced. Another great thing was that, they carry those types of fans on the truck, so he was able to make and immediate repair. After he completed the repair, he gave tips about how to get the temperature in the house down as fast as possible, and gave suggestions and tips to keep the unit running as efficiently as possible. This entire process only took about an hour later. Matt really treated us more like a friends who needed help more than Customer or a job. He was more concerned about us, and our best interest than making a buck for the company. I was so impressed that I've decided to go with the on a maintenance program. After using another company listed on Angie's list with an A rating, that merely wanted to sell me a new AC unit, this was a very positive experience. Now I have a reliable AC company that I can trust and depend on.
