Mr. Dykes came to our new home to give us an estimate, and was very professional, knowledgeable and honest. We purchased the annual service plan on Angie's list. We called the main office to schedule the service and the gentleman that took our call was very nice and set us up right away. The technicians arrived on time, were very professional, did a thorough job and left everything cleaned. They worked with enthusiasm. We were very pleased with the service from the start to the end. It is hard to find good service like this, these days.

Outstanding Company! Helped me arrange the installation of a new Air Conditioner for Florida Condo over the phone! Great customer Service! Answered a phone call even on Sunday prior to the appointment. On Monday morning 2 Service Technicians showed up on time, did an outstanding job, did not disappear for hours, didn't even take a break, helped and advised with every question I had and cleaned up after themselves. It doesn't get any better than that! I could have bought a cheaper AC (had other estimates), but the absence of aggravation was worth it! Thank You!

My 30yr old A/C finally crashed at 3pm Sat. July 4th! After reaching out to a few other providers, Certified was the only one to actually answer the phone. Lisa was pleasant, and tried her best to troubleshoot my problem. She did offer to have a tech come out that evening, but I opted for the following morning. Matt came out on Sunday morning, and was a total delight. He actually got the old unit running enough to last until the replacement arrived on Tuesday. The replacement team was Matt, Mitch, and my favorite box-truck boy, Cody. Again, a delight. These young men really work hard, and they do a great job. I truly enjoyed them. I know my new system is a quality system, but I have no idea if I got a good price or not. In my opinion, there's a lot to be said for for the prompt, pleasant, professional, and quality service I received from the entire Certified Heating and Cooling team! Nita Bunting (aka Edith)

Tommy and his crew showed up on time and did an excellent job in a timely fashion! We are dropping our old A/C service provider and only using them.

Very positive experience. This is the third company I have used to do an annual check-up, and I have now found the best. I felt I was in excellent hands. (My "comfort advisor" was Winston). He was thorough and pleasant. No pressure at all! In fact, I am the one that raised the issue of having a service contract, which I bought a couple of days later. There is a reason why this company gets so many As. Now I know why.

At the time, it seemed pretty good. I think I'm a little bummed in terms that we've had our AC serviced before and it carries us through and this time it is acting up and so that bums me out a little bit. It might not be their fault, it might be hey, we live in Florida and the air conditioning is hot because it is hot down here. As far as my husband could tell that day they did a good job. I know that they recommended something else that we could purchase that we didn't want. I think it was fine.

We sincerely do our best to make every customer as happy as possible. This review was very disappointing for our company. We went to this customers home in August of 2014. We were there to perform routine maintenance on the air conditioning system, no repairs were made. Our technician performed a precision tune up on the system. Our technician also made a recommendation to help the system run better, which was declined by the homeowner. Our follow up call and initial review was all A's. Now eight months later this review shows up. We never received a call back to let us know something was wrong as we would have immediately remedied the situation, even if it was eight months after our visit. Everyone at Certified Heating and Cooling Inc. has our customers best interest at heart and we would love nothing more than to help in anyway possible.

It went great!!! They called me right away to set an appointment. They showed up on time. Took care of everything in a timely manner. I signed up for their yearly maintenance plan. I felt very comfortable having him in my house. He found small things that have made a big difference in the way my air unit works and it was nothing that cost anything more than the original cost of the tune up package. Call them up!!! You won't be sorry. I'm Happy I found a reputable company through Angie's List.

The service went very well. One technician came out and completed the job in a couple hours. He did very thorough job. He was prompt and professional. He was helpful and did not try to overcharge us. They were very solution orientated and they made scheduling very easy.

OPeople at office were very courteous and had 3 technicians out the following morning, 9/11/14. They replaced the A/C and air handler within 3 hrs. and explained the new thermostat and what they had done. Certified also returned to us our voided check and did not charge us for the $79.90 service charge. They also gave us a senior discount, and 10 yrs. parts warranty and 2 yrs. labor. This company is very professional and knows what they are doing, and we would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Our A/C wasn't blowing cold air. I called Certified's office, & the rep. told us to try turning off the breakers for 10 minutes because we had a storm earlier that day. We did, but it didn't help. The fan also wasn't working, & the A/C was 10 yrs. old. She The air coming out of our vents wasn't cold. Called Certified, and the employee told us to turn off our breakers for 10 min. to see if it would come back on. It didn't,, and the fan wasn't working (A/C was 10 yrs. old). A technician come out to our house that day, who took the A/C apart and checked things. Our compressor was not working. It would be $1,900 to replace it, and he didn't recommend that for an old A/C. He gave us an estimate but didn't pressure us. We paid $79.90 for the service call. They offered financing and a senior discount, and I had a good feeling about them, so we decided to go with them. Called the office, and they had 3 techs out at 8:30 the next day to replace the A/C,.

I have retained this company as my service provider after a very impressive service call. A good start, was a very pleasant reception individual with a very pleasing 'phone manner (which makes a change!) who called me with a time of arrival for the technician. The technician Jim was on time, polite ,personable,approachable and knowledgeable and did not rush the call in order to move on to his next. He installed a float switch shut down system, in case of drain line blockage, which was of some concern to me since the system is in the loft. He also installed hurricane straps, as I like to err on the side of safety. I signed up for the maintenance plan too, as I prefer to have emergency coverage. This is as good as it gets.

Winston, the Technician, was prompt and extremely courteous. He did the best he could on a 20 year old unit that was in very bad shape but still working. We spoke about having a new unit installed and he gave us an estimate on the spot. We have just moved down to Florida and are leary of using someone without a reference but I was pleasantly surprised with Certified.

Tommy Dykes came to the house twice to go over our old system and review his proposal and installation of the new system. Very professional and easy to deal with. After we agreed to go with Certified, Lisa called and scheduled the install for Wednesday July 31. On the 31st the install team headed up by Winston arrived on time. They were very courteous and efficient and the install went as promised. Upon completion Winston reviewed the install and went over any operating instructions I needed to know. They cleaned up after the job and left our house and garage as it was before they arrived. The city has completed their inspection of the new system it passed with no issues. We are extremely pleased with our new AC and highly recommend Certified Heating and Cooling. Tommy and Lisa have been a real joy to work with.
Description of Work: Replaced our 13 seer HVAC system with new Rheem 3 ton16 seer 2 stage system including Air Handler with Electric Heat and Condenser. also added return vents in our living room and 2 spare bedrooms to improve airflow. Added supply vent to our dining area. Installed whole house air cleaner and new Breaker and Disconnect Box.
