I was incorrectlyl informed that the rigid aluminum ridge vent could not be used, also that drip edge could not be installed because I had gutters and the venting system he was installing was the "Best there are!". I found this not to be true.Plastic ridge roll vent that was installed only allows are circulation 12" sq inch per 12 inch run. The vent that was removed regid vented at 18 sq " to the running foot. This reduced my attic ventilation 40% and subsiquently my attic space holdd heat and and utility air cond bills increased. I researched this information by MFG on line and have been informed my roof was poorly installed. They cut the valleys instead of lapping them so no protection. The flashing around one skylite was inferior and leak big time during the tornado. When I called Cecil about the venting problem he did not return my calls. When I finally got in touch with him he said that there was notlhing he could do about it and refused even come and look at the problems. I would not recommend him to anyone as he does cut a lot of corners and to save labor and materials. My neighbor and my daughter had a similar experience with the removal of roof edge and the leaking flashing around there chimney.

I was very pleased with Mr. Wallin's responsiveness and willingness to provide us with an estimate (unlike some other local roofers that either did not return our calls or said that they would not be able to provide estimates for several weeks or months).

They were reasonably responsive, the price was very fair, and the work seems to have been solid; no problems with it so far. I can't speak for their work on a full re-roof but I would definitely consider them for such a job.

Only negative was that I requested that new flashing be applied around the two fireplaces and they only did it on one. I have called at least 5 times and gotten promises that they would come out the next day to do it and it has been two weeks.

The work preformed including removing shingles and damaged wood, replacing and repairing all damage and resealing . Cecil's employee was efficient and thorough and completed the work in 3 hours. The work area was cleaned and all trash was hauled away.

He's prompt and he always shows up when he says he will. His prices are great and the quality of his work is excellent. He cleans up very well and his crew was very nice.
