I got Dave's name and recommendation from a friend. He came over within a few days to look at and measure my 2 walkways. The estimate given was reasonable. The other estimate I got was twice as much. My neighbor kept an eye on Dave and was very impressed with the work done. It took three days, the first to take apart the front walkway, get rid of the rotten boards, and replace with new boards. The second day he compleated the structure, power washed both walkways and the roof. The third day he stained the wood and tacked up the netting. I am very happy with the results.
Description of Work: Dave rebuilt my wooden walkways. He removed the rotten boards and replaced them with new planks, refurbishing the entire front walkway and steps. He then power washed the front and back and stained the wood. He also cleaned the gutters and tacked up netting under the overhangs.

I can't say enough good things about Dave. He is honest. He does excellent work. And, he does not charge an arm and a leg for his services. (see above). With some 20 years experience as a contractor who owned his own company in Michigan, doing handyman jobs around the home here in Florida comes easily and naturally for him. Plus, Dave is very personable. He is easy to talk with and a pleasure to invite into our home. I highly recommend him and the quality work that he does.
Description of Work: Dave Campbell, a licensed and bonded handyman, has come to our home three times in the last month. He came recommended from a professional condominium management company. (Dave happens to live in the same community as I do). The amount above reflects the total price for the three visits. First, he painted our living room/dining room area. Including the cost of the paint, which he purchased, the total was $250. Then he came to fix a window that wouldn't stay open all the way, removed one ceiling fixture, replaced it with a ceiling fan from a different part of the room, and hung a new chandelier in place of the ceiling fan he removed. He also added a dimmer switch. Total cost was $150 inclusive of all parts. Lastly, he came to fix a leak under our kitchen sink. $20.
