They repaired my shutter in a timely manner. I was done right and they cleaned up their mess.

They arrived on time and reviewed the services to be performed. After reviewing services they began the maintenance on the shutters. Upon completion of the shutters they informed me of other services provided by the company and answered my questions regarding regular maintenance.

One of our electric hurricane shutters will not rise. Motor runs fine, but shutter seems to be apparently "off the track" or "out of gear". Shutters are of indeterminate age, so we needed someone who could repair older shutters. Based on previous reviews, it seemed like CC Shutters could repair these older shutters. Via email form on CC Shutter's website, submitted question asking whether they repaired older hurricane shutters. Received no answer. Waited a few days and called first number listed for them here on Angie's list. After explaining our shutter problem and asking about email, Steve Tinklepaugh said he did not receive email and was in New York for a wedding. He asked that I call him back after Tuesday (9/16) of the following week when he was back in town. Understandable and not a problem for me. Called him again on Thursday, 09/18, and left message. As of today, 09/22/2014, I have received no response to email OR phone message. This not only excludes CC Shutters from further work for us but, since they are a division of Couch Construction, that company is also excluded from our future remodeling plans. UPDATE: on 09/24/2014 (after this review went live), Steve at CC Shutters left message apologizing for the delay and asking if we still needed shutter fixed. So, it's now more than 2 weeks after my initial email and 6 days after my last attempt to contact him. I could understand if he was too busy to come out, but there is no excuse for not responding by phone or email for that length of time. This is not a company I feel comfortable doing business with.

Steve(owner) was excellent. Very honest and very good with diagnosis. Could have easily said, "I needed two new motors", but did not.

The representative from C C Shutters was on time, very polite, knowledgeable and efficient. He cleaned out the tracks on all of the shutters, checked for functionality and also lubricated the necessary parts. I was very happy with the service and would use them again.

Steve and his helper arrived on time and did a thorough job of counting and checking the stored aluminum shutters. Not being the original resident of this home, I was anxious to know everything was in order in case a hurricane threatens. Steve sketched a diagram of the doors and windows, then counted and labeled the different sizes of shutters to facilitate installation. He left me with peace of mind knowing there are no missing pieces and that I can request installation service if I give them several days notice when a hurricane threatens They already have a list of customers for this additional service, so we can't call at the last minute. My impression of Steve's service is professionalism and honesty. Glad I bought this particular Big Deal!

Steve came to my house to give an estimate, was on time and pleasant to deal with, and gave a fair price. He answered his phone when I called with questions .Did a professional job on the installation.

Steve came to my house and measured all my windows. We sat and discussed options for over an hour. He seemed nice and thorough and left me with the impression that he would do quality work. I never received a quote so I called him. He seemed surprised I never got it and took my email down and said he would send it right away. Never got it. Called again, got voicemail, left a message that was never returned. Waste of my time.

Very professional, work was done on time, and they did a very good job. The shutters look great and match the ones we already had on the back of the house. However, we noticed that the locks seem a little sticky, but that may be due to them being new or maybe we need to oil. We had several other bids and this one gave us the best product at a reasonable price. I would recommend this Shutter company to anyone looking for hurricane shutters.

All went well, he had to take out the old shutters and you can't tell where they were. Every thing was patched or covered up. Steve was anxious to please us. He was easy to do business with. We would recommend him to others.

Contacted C C Shutters (Steve) on July 2, 2012 to make an appointment for an estimate to install shutters. We agreed on Friday, 7/6/12, Steve arrived on time, with plenty of sample shutters to choose from and very knowledgeable with what type shutters would work best for our area. Steve required half the cost of the shutters so they could be ordered. Ordered, Delivery and Installed within 6 business days. It only took one day to install all four shutters and he left the area very clean. Steve was very Professional. There was a problem about a month later with one of the shutters and Steve came out immediately to fix it. Have recommended Steve and his company to others. Great Job!
