Ray, the service man, was courteous and professional. He explained things to my satisfaction and did a good job. That was 5 years ago, and everything is still working good. My neighbor had a new air conditioner that just wasn't cooling right. The company that sold it to him and installed it told him the problem was his ductwork was bad and wanted to charge $6000 to replace the ductwork. I told him to call Bruce Miller. Ray came out, showed him that the problem was caused by the people who installed the unit. Ray got him some temporary units until he could fix it. The cost was under $1000. Ray fixed the problem and it has been working fine for a year. We are both satisfied customers. Other people in our mobile home park have also had good experiences with them. I can't say how they are on houses, but on mobile homes, Ray really knows his stuff.

When I spoke to Russ, I told him my A/C system was not working, but I was considering replacing the entire system because of its age, and wanted an estimate. I did not request that he do any repair, since I could handle a simple repair myself, and for anything more than that, I preferred to simply replace everything. In the event I had to replace everything, I wanted to compare estimates from two or three companies. By the time Russ came, I had gotten the system working with a simple repair, but since I was still considering replacement, I wanted to continue with the estimate. He took some measurements and said he would mail the estimate to me. I assumed that this company, like every other A/C company I have contacted, would provide an estimate at no charge, and he did not tell me any different; but several weeks later, I was notified that they expected payment of $50 for a "trip charge". They refuse to budge on this. Besides, his estimate was much higher than any other I got.
