Description of Work: Purchase Material Paid with bad Check he said he would pay cash the next day then the day after. Never paid and will not answer calls. Very unprofessional.

Description of Work: He has build 3 bathrooms and completely redid my kitchen and family room. He reconfigured the master bedroom and added a walk-in closet.

+ -1 moreIt went pretty good. I talked to a lot of companies, many with slicker presentations but felt the most comfortable with Don based on friend's experience. He is a long time resident of the area, as are we, and his reputation is a good one. They did a pretty good job of keeping the house livable and the kitchen at least semi-usable while we waited for cabinets and counter tops. He had excellent subs for the electrical and painting - although the painter took a big job and so Don had to get another painter to come finish tomorrow. We signed the contract in July and hopefully tomorrow will be the last step - painting some trim and installing door hardware. The cabinets came out very nice as did the granite counter tops.
Description of Work: Totally gutted our kitchen, which is half of our family room. We blocked up an entry door, enlarged a window, created new openings, totally redid our island. It was a lot more than just replacing cabinets and counter tops. The kitchen was 25 years old with laminate counters and cabinets. We replaced them with maple cabinets from Kraftmaid and granite counter tops.
