Absolute scam artists. Told me I needed a new electrical panel at a cost of four thousand dollars! Had a another contractor come and he tightened a few wires and everything worked fine. They are crooks. Also found out the contractors work on commission. They are over priced and tell you u need work that does not need to be done!!! Stay away!!!!! From this company!!!!

I am seasonal and my landscapers tend to turn my water valve on and use my hose when I am out of town or away during the off season. I got a locking device for my hose, however I wanted one for the main water valve of my home. I contacted Best due to the commercials and Angie's List rating. While on the phone with them, I specifically asked the receptionist if they do this type of service and the cost involved. I was told that they do this installation and that the service charge is $19 and that the tech would tell me the price in person. Right then and there I should have hung up. The tech arrived and he was nothing impressive. My garage door happened to be open and I walked him to the side of the house to explain what I needed. I almost fell into the mulch when he told me the cost would be $450 for parts and labor. Seeing my reaction, he explained that it would take a few hours as he has to repipe everything. We made our way back to the driveway and he was explaining that the office would email me the estimate, which I would have NEVER agreed to in a million years. As he was talking to me, he kept looking in my garage then mentioned something about how my piping is bad on my hot water tank. What???? He gave me an outrageously expensive quote and is now upselling me??? Are you kidding? I couldn't wait til he left. Just last week I contacted a handyman through Angie's List, he came this morning and put in the exact valve with a locking feature I wanted and get this....charged me $110. Oh, and it took him all of 25 minutes to do. It's perfect. Yes, a quarter of the price Best quoted me. I don't know if they purposely raise the prices if one lives in a gated community and take a break in the van during the visit to justify the timeframe they give or what, but I would never use or refer them to anyone ever. The tech was at my home all of about four minutes total and there went my $19. This is certainly not the way I do business with vendors.

Scott, the technician, came out on Saturday, April 21st, 2018 due to my ac system not blowing air into the house. My wife was the only one home so he called me over the phone to explain what the problem was. He told me there was a power surge and that it blew out the panel on the air handler. He said it would cost $1000 to repair. He suggested it was not worth repairing considering the unit is 13 years old. As I was on the phone and about an hour away from the home, I took his word even though I questioned what was said. Furthermore, he kept pushing the idea that we would need a new unit that would cost about $9100. From there, he said if we went with their company on the product he would put a "band-aid" to allow our current unit to work again for two more days until the new one was installed. Within 15 minutes, I contacted my wife and she stated that the ac was working again which made me question how he got it to work so quickly. Later that day, I got home and I went to take the panel off of the air handler because I am a little knowledgeable in that field. All in all, the issue was the capacitor that runs the fan which costs $12 (he even left the old, damaged one up there as proof). We tried to contact somebody to cancel the installation and financing with no response. After leaving two messages on the answering service on Saturday and Sunday my wife went on the website and did the live chat receiving a response from a representative over the phone stating that we would receive a phone call from a supervisor/manager on Monday, but again no one bothered to call. I was very disappointed and called the financing service myself to cancel the contract. As of now, no one has reached out to explain why the technician conducted his services in the manner that he did, which were false. We have pictures of the panel shown not being burnt.
