Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for $39 for Plumbing Service Call!

Description of Work: I had the feeling that I was being set up for expensive additionnal work. When I booked the appointment on the telephone I asked what the hourly rate would be and was told that the plumber woukd make and assessment of the work required and discuss it with me. I should have known... The technician made an assessment when he came. Fixing a leak to an outside fawcett was going to cost $187.00 thus using uo the $200.00 credit I had purchased. He recommended additional work (re setting 1 toilet) and replacing the interior workings of 2 toilet tanks at approximately $1,000.00. My house is 7 years old. Everything was based upon fixed fees for the services. I thought the price was way too expensive and only had the fawcett repaired for $187.00.

Description of Work: Contacted this firm as a result of an Angies List deal for something like $200.00 of service for $99.00. the quote for replacing a powder room faucet, which was purchased beforehand, was $670.00. I excused the service tech and had the faucet replaced by United Plumbing for $85.00

Description of Work: He replaced a hose bib and reluctantly completed a whole house inspection that I had paid for. I had a seriously leaking kitchen faucet. He showed me a new one and told me it would cost almost $900. I bought the same faucet for $250 a licensed plumber installed it for$65, do the math. This is plumbing not rocket science. If you see Benjamin Franklin Plumbing coming up your driveway, lock the doors and run.

Description of Work: We had a Y value on the washer inlet replaced. We had two new faucets installed in the kitchen area. We joined the Ben Franklin Club. Recently had a full house inspection as a part of that for no fee. This included draining the hot water heater and checking it out.

Description of Work: We had an issue regarding whole house plumbing back pressure directly related to our under-sink R/O - whenever any other plumbing was used in the house (toilets and sinks in 4 bathrooms, shop sink, etc.) an annoying bubbling/hissing sound would occur at the kitchen R/O, and would continue for at least 15-20 minutes, until someone ran water again to start the cycle all over again. Quite irritating to say the least. The assigned plumber team (Perry and Ray) were punctual, professional and very respectful of our home to the point of wearing floor protectors over their work shoes while working. The problem was was apparently not very easy to diagnose, but they were able to do so with the help of remote support. After assessing the situation and identifying the parts required they left and returned within 1/2 hour to fixed the issue relatively quickly. They also clearly explained their flat-rate tiered pricing which seemed quite fair. We will definitely be calling them again for any future plumbing needs.
