Description of Work: Every thing I called them for they couldn't do. I wanted them to pull out an old dishwasher out from underneath the counter they said they could not do this because the tile floor was in the way. My neighbor did it 5 minutes. They were there to do a free hot water heater inspection. They said they could not inspect a water heater that was too old. Of coarse mine was too old. The toilet in the bathroom needed to be refastened down to the floor. They couldn't do that because of the tile floor. They had an excuse for everything I had called them out for. I had used them in the past and had a good experience. That's why I used them again, but not any more

Description of Work: I called this plumber to update 2 toilets with new internal parts. They did so, but told me it would be 340.00 when they finished. This is the most expensive plumber I have ever used. They also give you a coupon to use later, with that in mind, it's still too expensive. I later had these 2 toilets replaced for brand new at the same cost. I should have done that in the first place. When I called a plumber later, the same guy came and told me he quit this plumber and told me Benjamin Franklin had a lot of complaints on how expensive they are.

Description of Work: Benjamin Franklin Plumbing replaced two outside faucets, fixed a leaking bathroom sink and replaced the disposal. They took care of everything in a professional and cost effective manner.

Description of Work: I had had a handyman install 2 sink faucets + they had begun dripping into their sinks. The Benjamin Franklin plumber disassembled both of them, cleared them, + reinstalled them properly. He installed a hand held shower which I had bought . The old sink faucet in the guest bathroom was taken out + a deluxe Moen faucet was installed.

Description of Work: I called for a service call, they set the date one week out.. I called to confirm on the date they were to arrive. It was confirmed. I waited for 3 hours for them to arrive and they called and said they were too far away and they would not be coming.

Description of Work: Perry and his apprentice, Ray, were probably two of the most professional service providers I have ever encountered. They had to straighten out a real mess of an undersink Reverse Osmosis mis-installation and a dangerously incorrect disposal installation. If I need a plumber again [and I'm sure I will, given the money pit this home has turned into], I will not hesitate to call this firm again.

Description of Work: Called for a water heater to be replaced, the plumber came out and was at our home when he said he would be, he was dressed professionally and gave us a price that was over 3 times the other estimates, I was so surprised at how extreemly expensive this plumbing company was. We thanked them, and hired the other company which was wonderful, (dont think we should mention their name here)

Description of Work: My plumbing had backed up all the way into my tub---an awful mess! I called them immediately because my Dad had used them for his plumbing issues after Hurricane Charley & I remembered how much he liked them. They told me they could have someone to my house within 2 hours and sure enough...they were here. Before they did anything or looked at anything, they showed me their guaranteed price structures & what services they did & the cost. They explained the different possibilities that could be causing the backup & showed me the prices to correct each. Once I said OK, they went on the roof & began the 1st option of "snaking" the drain. After nearly 45 minutes of continuous drilling & snaking, the back up didn't budge. So they searched for the plumbing close out valve. Because it's an old house, the closeout was apparently buried & they needed special equipment to try to locate it., to no avail. So they began to dig to get to the drain pipes. This was not going to be a simply plunging of the drains & I knew it. Thankfully, they found the old, rusted pipes, replaced them with new PCV, added the closeout valve, drained the pipes, ran a camera down the drain to the sewer line---which was a neat site---and cleared the line completely. They worked tirelessly through the day & completely fixed not only the problem, but also replaced all the dirt & made the area look even better than before they arrived! All the time, not a single complaint or word about how long the job would take. In fact, they said they wouldn't leave until my plumbing was working to my satisfaction. The really incredible part was they had quoted me a price BEFORE they even looked at the problem---I was with them the whole time so there was no way they knew just how bad it was---and even after the job took way longer than anticipated, they STILL were really nice. Amazing!

Description of Work: i needed a water heater installed that was under warranty. they wanted to charge me over $500 for labor alone. I refused their service because of this outlandish charge. they're labor charge was literally 3 times higher than the service i received elsewhere.
