I have had a wonderful experience with Baer's Furniture in Fort Myers. I work with Brenda who is a design coordinator at this location. Brenda has been extremely helpful in assisting us with our efforts to furnish our new home. She is always available to talk/meet with us and help find affordable, good-quality furniture and recommend design ideas that fit our style. We have received exceptional service from every person in the store throughout the entire process, including the delivery gentlemen who delivered and installed our furniture in a professional manner without damaging any part of our home. The salesperson was great and demonstrated a good knowledge of their products. The whole store experience was good. Delivery was arranged and arrived when they said. After a few days of use, we noticed the table legs were loose. I tried to fix them myself, but didn't have the proper tool. So, in our travels we popped into the store and ask our sales person if they could send someone to fix the legs. After a short consultation with her service manager, we were told that they could not send anyone, since the piece was a floor piece and we bought it, as is. ????? This is not anywhere on our paper work; nor were we told this when they took our $3000. Our sales person made a final plea, but to no avail. We walked out without satisfaction, never to return. I don't think that because you buy something on sale; it negates customer service. I acquired the proper tools and fixed it myself. While doing this, I discovered stamping that read " Made in China".
