It went excellent and I would recommend them to anyone. They responded quickly the plumber arrived on time and was very professional. And the company sent a email beforehand to notify me of the plumber with a picture and a description, so I was comfortable with him when he entered my home.

I had a problem with the hot & cold water mixing in the master shower for almost a year! After having several plumbers try to repair it, I had almost given up. A friend recommended Aztec and I decided to give it one more try. I scheduled an appointment with Aztec and received a confirmation email with the name and photo of the plumber who would be performing the service call. Our plumber, Ryan, was very professional and within less than an hour, he had diagnosed and repaired the problem! I was extremely happy with Ryan and Aztec!

Having been a member of Angie's List for many years, this was probably the most frustrating experience I have ever had. After going down the list of "24 hr Emergency Plumbing Services, it took me 3 hrs of calling and waiting on 5 other companies before I called Aztec (who should be at the top of the list), all you others should not advertise a service if you can't or won't fulfill it, I would call that false advertising). I am so irritated about the companies that didn't respond at all to the after hours call to answering services and wait, just to get no return call or get a call back and say, "I cant fix that" as water is shooting out of the side of my house from main water line. Hands down, Aztec and their employee and I'll just call him "A", went above and beyond for an after hours emergency call and repaired the leak in my main water line so that we could have running water by morning for my son to go to school. I wouldn't think twice about calling them again, as a matter of fact, I wouldn't call or recommend anyone else. Being a small business owner myself, I know how important it is to have employees like "A" that make your company stand out from the rest, and that he did. Thank you

I cannot speak to the quality of the work done by this company, because I never had any work done by them, just the estimate. They might do very good work and be very professional based on other reviews and the fact that they got someone right out to me very quickly to do an estimate (within an hour or so, as a matter of fact), and the person who came to do the estimate seemed and acted very professional. However, know that their price might often be quite high compared to other companies - in fact, when I balked at the estimate, the person actually said that they are an expensive company and their prices are usually higher than average! Guess they must not need the business very much. They estimated $1500 to just tie into the existing line, or $1650 to lay all new pipe all the way to the house. When I asked why it would be $1500 to just tie in (this job is almost all labor, mostly in digging, as the materials are only a little PVC pipe and fittings), but only $150 more than that to do between twice and three times as much digging to go all the way to the house, I got no clear answer at all, just that "well, we'd already be here" or something like that. For a job that is almost all labor, it should just simply be time and materials, and based on a set hourly labor rate times however many hours they take to do the job - not just throwing a total price at you which they're going to get no matter how long they actually take to do it (depending on how many roots they have to cut, etc.) One other company that I also didn't end up using because of repeated no-shows (Mr. Rooter Plumbing) had estimated $800 - $1000 for this same job, but the real kicker is that the company I ended up using, United Plumbing (extremely pleased - see my 1/22/15 review for them), which did quote simply on time and materials, sent two plumbers out who had the whole trench (to tie in) dug in one hour, and completed the whole job from start to finish in 3 1/2 hours, charging me less than $500 total. So Aztec would have been 3 times more expensive! Ouch.
Description of Work: Came out to give an estimate to repair a leaking pipe on my side of the water meter in our front yard, which was probably damaged by roots from a large oak tree that is right next to the meter. The estimate was for digging a trench and running a new water line from the meter away from and around the tree, to help avoid continued problems with more pipe breaks due to roots, and then tying into the existing line to the house further away from the tree - or I was also given the option to run new pipe all the way to where the line enters the house on the side of the house.

Serviceman arrived well within the two hour framework I was promised, and within three hours of my emergency call (my water was shut off). He was professional and polite, and honest that he was missing a piece he needed since he was not driving his own truck. He expediently contacted another service person, and secured what he needed. He gave me an estimate up front, which I thought was a bit high, but I needed the work done ASAP. He offered me a service contract for a year, but did not pressure me to buy it. I ended up doing so, however, since I was impressed with the work that was done.

We decided to go with Aztec Plumbing because their quote came in at the lowest of all three plumbers that we received quotes from. Their customer services was very helpful the beginning. They got a tech out to our house about an hour after calling them for a quote. We were told the job can be done in one day in and out. Come to find out we had to wait 3 - 4 weeks for permitting, but that is probably no fault of Aztec Plumbing, but more the fault of the county permitting department. Once the permit was issued, the job was scheduled another two weeks out. The plumbers that arrived to the house were very knowledgeable and courteous. They did a great job and got the job done in one day as promised. Only issue I had was that our initial quote did not include two valves that needed to be replaced that cost an additional $350.00 on top of our initial estimate. Never feels good to be hit with a surprise. Overall the job met our needs and expectations.

We are loyal customers based on multiple experiences with Aztec. Marc and Kyle did an excellent job. The work was performed quickly and professionally. They cleaned up well after the work was done, and were friendly and knowledgeable. We have used Aztec several times in the past. They consistently provide quality service. They let us know exactly how much it would cost before the work was performed, and honored the Angie's List coupon. They're not cheap, but they do excellent work, and that's worth something.

This was a great experience. The person who came from Aztec was J.J. and I was very pleased and impressed by him. He was very professional and a very good communicator. He reviewed what I wanted done and then created an estimate from his pricing book for the work. He showed me how the pricing structure worked in his book. At first I thought the price was high but I did not have another estimate to compare it to. After talking to him I felt he would do a good job so I told him to proceed. He was good at diagnosing an issue we had with a very annoying noise that came from our kitchen sink when we ran our washer in the garage. He felt our main drain was partially blocked. He worked to clear it in a creative way. I am happy to say that noise is a thing of the past. When he had finished after numerous hours at our house I felt his work was worth the price. Our neighbors highly recommended Aztec and Angie's list supported these recommendations. I am now a fan of Aztec and can highly recommend them especially J.J. a true professional who is very good at his craft.
Description of Work: Replaced all hardware in our tube/shower of guest bath ;adjusted toilet and the shower head in our master bath to ensure it would not leak; replaced faucet handles in laundry room; replaced hoses to the washer; cleared the main drain for the house.

It did not go well. Each time workers came, they were different. A subcontractor was hired by Aztec - when we were not satisfied, we went back to Aztec - only to to find out that the previous person(s) were no longer employed. This went on for another 10 days. After 3 weeks, we contacted our original contractor who came in and removed the vanity to find the source of the issue. There was nothing wrong with the vanity. Mold was removed and cleaned according to industry standards. Leak was fixed. Order was restored to our bathroom. Aztec and their subcontractor attempted to bill our insurance company directly. The insurance adjustor made sure that we received the check and were the ones to contact Aztec to settle up. When we asked that a supervisor or manager come to our home to receive the check, a new employee was sent - to which we requested that he sign the copy that we had made so we had proof that a representative of the company had received the check.
Description of Work: Mold was found in the master bathroom area, behind the stool next to vanity. Aztec was called on recommendation from neighbor. Representative came out. We were told to contact insurance company as this would be a repair covered under our condo insurance and to also contact the condo association, since it was possibly in the exterior wall of the unit. We have an end unit. Back and forth went on for about 10 days. Workers set up drying blowers and came back every few days. Estimate was given, without even knowing the source of the problem - a major renovation was called for, even though we had renovated down to the studs only 5 years prior. We were told nothing could be saved.

I called at 8:30 and they were at our house by 9:30 Ron was the plumber that came out. He was very friendly and gave us a ton of info about our area. The drain was unclogged and functional by 10:15 They seemed to be a tad expensive but I am not real familiar with the going rates for plumbing. All in all we would definitely use this company again!

We contacted the company because they were well known in Cape Coral and had been here for many years. Jim Lapoint was initially the contact person and a young man named Jeremy was the one who was at the house. We took the house down to the studs and completed changed the plumbing fixtures and bathroom layouts. The deal was we would do all of the concrete cutting and digging out for the new drain lines. They were given drawings of the new layouts and the new cabinets to be used in each of the (3) bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry. We removed all of the existing lines and drains, cut the areas they told us to for new lines, and they sent in the "re-piping team" to run the new supply lines. During conversations with these men turns out they were electricians originally who needed more money so started doing plumbing. Our electricians enjoyed speaking with them. Afterword, the next group came in to install the drain lines. Communication was always a challenge. Calls were not returned and to make it really maddening, our home was less than 200 yards from their office. The young man, Jeremy was the defacto supervisor but sometimes he would be dropping off permits or paperwork to the city office or getting contracts signed. Throughout this whole time frame I never saw the manager, Lapoint. After all of the work was completed some weeks went by before drywall, flooring, and cabinets were installed. When putting in the cabinets they had problems because the lines were not centered for the cabinets (remember they were given detailed layouts for each room). The master shower (dual heads) were 1/2" off from level which showed as soon as the tile went onto the wall. The laundry drain line coming out of the wall was so low we almost had to cutout the floor of the cabinet to allow for a depth for the trap. The kitchen was also the same situation, not enough height to allow for the disposal under the sink. Remember, we had the house to the studs, all the walls were open, they could have set up everything anyway they saw fit. We called Jeremy on these issues but calls were not returned and then learned Lapoint was gone and "Tim" was the new guy in charge. We also heard they were so busy they were going to hire more people and go to a larger office. I paid them too early, my fault. If I had waited a couple of weeks some of these problems would have showed up to hold payment. Afterwards, we found another plumbing company that was great and they installed our fixtures. Then we found out we had a hot water line going to one of the toilets, and the laundry sink was not vented and it caused noise in our bar sink on the other side of the house. I called Jeremy but again, never heard a word. We decided it was not enough to fool with but the new company was great to take care of both problems. Bottom line, I will let EVERY client and new resident of Southwest Florida know our experience with Aztec. My goal is to cost them ten times what they charged us. After looking at the reviews here, we are not the only ones unhappy with Aztec. There are many great companies on here, use them.

We called Aztec mid morning when we realized the problem. We expected a delay because it was the day after New Year,s when I explained that we had no water and customer service said that they would send someone out between 4-6 that day. I was very surprised. AJ the service rep called around 4:30 and said that he was on his way. He was very professional and diagnosed the problem immediately. He had to drill a hole through the shower wall and repair the pipe. He had all of right parts on his truck. We moved to Florida on October and have dealt with many good service companies. Aztec's service was superb and AJ is a great asset to your company.
