A1 Gator Septic

Called for service as my lift tank alarm was going off. The tech came 12/21/22 at 2:37, left at 4:07 as on their bill. We spoke by phone while he was there as I was out. He basically told me for ten minutes that my system was a disaster including that I had a bad tank...he could tell because when he jumped up and down on the lid, he could see the water move....HUH?? We settled that he should pump the tank and leave. I'd follow up. On 12/22/2023, I got a bill for $380.50 charged to my card. I figured, "OK". Then on 1/3/2023, I got a second bill for another $250--same service description, same pictures, same time. I called their number and got a Massachusetts customer service rep. He told me he'd have his supervisor call me and also the local A-1 manager. No one called. Two more like CSR experiences on 1/24 and 1/26 and still no calls. If you want a tech that feeds you baloney, a firm that double bills you, and a CSR center to frustrate you, hire them. If not, STAY AWAY!

They actually took the time and I've only dealt with them once but I would highly recommend them because they came out and spend the time to figure out the issue efficiently. They are genuine and concern and they provided me proofs that the company Moon Site & Septic did not do what they said they are going to do.

I never post a negative review but for what this company tried get away with I felt it was necessary. We got our septic pumped because it was full. They came out and pumped the next day. Three weeks later it was full again and I knew something was wrong so I called again to have it pumped and inspected. They told me I had a bad drain field and would need to pull a permit for $475 to get a quote so I paid and got it. They quoted me at $7,750 for everything. Here is where I gets good! I got a second company of equal rating and skill level to come out to inspect and give me a quote. Turns out I did not need a new drain field at all. All I needed was a new pump and sensor for a grand total of $845! And everything is now operating as should. Do not go with this company what so ever. But if you do get a second opinion first. A-1 gator has lost my business 100%

Extremely well. There office is always helpful and courteous, very professional. They are always on time, sometimes a little early, and are great at what they do. Didn't mind my questions and gave me some ideas on how to care for a septic tank. Never had one before. They are my go to people for septic issues or needing to be pumped!

The system was inspected and the blockage found and removed.

They never showed up and never even called to cancel or reschedule. When I called to complain they said they can take $10 off and come out the next day. Horrible customer service!!'

They said tough luck, yes we bought the company but we owe you NOTHING! They said I need to give them another $7,000.00 to $8,000.00! So close to $14,000.00 in 3 years!

Came when expected. Did the job quickly and thoroughly. Cost was exactly as quoted, which was the going rate I learned when calling around earlier. They did the job exactly as they said they would and right on time. Could not ask for more.

They gave me appointment for the very next day the staff was very courteous and attentive they gave me a half an hour call because I needed the appointment before noon they arrived at 9 AM so very very punctual. Mr. James came out to do the servicing and he was very kind very professional and he really took me to school regarding how septic tanks work he did not seem bothered at all that I was looking over his shoulder most of the time just curious as to what he was doing I would highly recommend their service and if you're fortunate enough to get Mr. James I'm sure you will have a pleasant experience.

Went well. I called early Saturday morning because we had a minor back up. Got a call back right away and the truck was here about 1.5-2 hours later. They did an excellent professional job and answered all our questions. It did cost more for the Saturday service but I feel it was money well spent. I will definitely call them in the future and recommend them.

I called A1 Gators, they came out early and the guy pryed open the septic cover and showed me that the tank has been closed off and my entire house is on County sewer system. He told me what I had to do to close it up. He called the office and then he told me there was no charge!! I was waiting for at least a $75 service charge just for coming out. If I ever need septic work done, I will not call anyone other than A1 Gators. The service worker was very friendly and knowledgeable.

After reading the reviews on Angies List for A1 Gator, I called them when my plumbing drainage system stopped working properly. They said they could be there that day and sure enough 4 hours or so later, they showed up. Their arrival was preceded by a phone call approximately 30 minutes before they arrived which I appreciated, as we had guests and were in and out all day. The technician walked right to where the lid was even though I had no idea where it was and about 30 minutes later I had a functioning sewer system and a clean tank. A1 Gator did what they said they would do, the driver was courteous and gave me some good information as well as explaining how my system worked. The price I paid was fair and about $100 less expensive than other people have reported paying with some of their competitors. I hope to do business with A1 Gator for years to come.

Went great, very professional and friendly. Had to pay extra $150 for weekend appointment. None the less. Will definitely recommend and use them again.

We called in the morning and they arrived around noon even though it was not an emergency. The man who came got to work and found a problem which he corrected and then he worked hard to clean the rest of the tank. He was pleasant and answered all of questions. His equipment was very clean and he inspired confidence. We plan on using them again.

The service was excellent, they came right out, and the service man on site was knowledgeable and helpful with information we would need in the near future.

He came, got right to work, did an excellent job, and was on his way within forty-five minutes.

The company I used previously was not available so I called A1-Gator and the gentleman who came out was very professional and nice. I know these guys are on the clock and have a schedule to keep so I appreciated the extra time he spent to answer all my questions and explain how the system works etc... The price was little higher than the competition but they were here within 3 hours of calling and did a great job. I would recommend them to others and will use them moving forward.

Last Sunday my septic overflowed. I called A1 gator who charged me $400 to come out as an ER service. Here I am, not even a week later and these people will not warrantee their service and come out until Monday. Unless I'm willing to pay another $400. Horrible!!! Do not use.

They returned my call on a Sunday extremely quickly, and went out to the property within 24 hours of my call.
