A Pack N Ship

I dropped of a package to be sent from Fort Myers, FL to Knoxville, TN. The package was packed my me and contained around $500.00 worth of merchandise. The clerk (who I assume is the owner) was preoccupied with other customers, did not apply the UPS label in my presence and gave me a receipt for shipping, along with the tracking number. When the package did not arrive on the delivery date, I called the shipper on two occasions and left messages. When I did not receive a return call, I went to the store to inquire about the package only to be told he was busy with customers and would call me later. He did call later and indicated that he remembered some of the items in the package. I took the package ready for shipment, not to be pack. He stated he would check into it and call me back. He did not call. My husband and I went by the store the next day in the early afternoon. Jay Nelson, the person who took the package, told me to be quiet and let him talk,. He didn't want me coming into his store and inquiring about my package, he felt that I was accusing him of something. He has very upset and threatening. He said in a loud voice twice, "I will call you on Monday". No phone calls received.. UPS states that they never picked up the package.
