We provide written agreements and typically provide flat-price quotes based on the scope of the job. Our core staff includes sales & marketing manager, operations manager, and team leader for each project, in addition to staff for downsizing, packing, and clean-outs.

Senior move management, including planning and organizing for a household move, downsizing, space-planning and furniture layouts, packing, coordination & supervision of movers, unpack/put away service; settle-in services such as bed making, TV hookup, lamps, clocks, phones plugged in, and picture hanging. Can also arrange for disposal/donation of items, shipments to family, and housecleaning after move-out. We also coordinate moves going out of state, or provide assistance with estate closure.

Description of Work: BUYER BEWARE!!!! Firm claims to be both a home stager and a moving relocation specialist. Took money under false pretenses. Did not provide actual services "as opposed to just an estimate [or] phone call for information." Had no knowledge of area to which move was being made, no usable information, no expertise whatsoever. When pressed to explain what had been done, company claimed to have made phone calls for information over several hours -- which was NOT what was needed and which would have meant paying $80/hour for a couple of calls that did not produce any usable or helpful material or information. Entire move had to be made without a single piece of useful or usable material from this company. Requested refund; company refused. Requested 50% refund; company refused and said it charges by the job, not by individual elements. Then claimed it had $55 "left over," which means it DOES charge by individual elements. Complained to organization of which company is a member, but was told company is not deemed to be in violation of the group's ethics code...which means BUYER BEWARE when using ANY firm affiliated with that group (National Association of Senior Move Managers). This firm misrepresented, took money under false pretenses, caused tremendous emotional hardship, made a move far more difficult, provided no usable services and was misleading from start to finish about its alleged knowledge and expertise. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Response from Amaze Home Staging/Relative Ease Relocation
This client signed an agreement for service with our company, which detailed specific move-related tasks and research he wanted us to accomplish for him. It was explained to him that these services were considered billable work, and the agreement included a flat-price consultation fee, which he paid to us at time of agreement. He was told that the results of the research would be presented to him in written form. Over the next several days we addressed each of the tasks and provided the information in a typed report and through several email exchanges. We have assisted hundreds of area-residents with their moves, and we are very familiar with the Fort Myers area where this man was to move. The client was provided with documented information that included: two binding estimates from local movers; name and cost for reputable clock servicer to prepare his clocks for move; results from 3 consignment stores as to whether they would accept items he wanted to sell; costs and sizes of three self storage facilities; measurements, products, and costs associated with screened-porch protection for his dogs. The work involved more than the ‘couple of phone calls’ that the client claims. The client has not demonstrated why the information was un-useable. We can only assume that he did not like the costs associated with the various services/products we researched for him, but this is not something we control. We work with reputable, proven businesses, and the costs presented to the client were reasonable and customary for our area. The client wanted a refund, presumably because he did not like the information he received, but he did receive detailed answers and pricing for all of the items he requested. He asked we not complete one piece of information that was due to him, and we elected to refund him $55. This is the first complaint we have received in our four years of business. We have serviced hundreds of people, and are consistently referred by the area’s senior living communities because we provide written agreements, firm pricing, and great customer service and follow through.
