With over 20 years of service to the South Florida area, West End Plumbing, Inc is among the most reliable plumbing services in Broward county. Opened in 1981 by Ira Schachter and originally A-1 West End. The company was incorporated to A & I in 2005 when Ira passed the business to Adam Stricker. Adam apprenticed under Ira and now has more than 17 years experience and is a FL state certified Master Plumber. At West End Plumbing the customer comes first. This is why all calls are personally answered. You will never get an answering service. With our 24/7 emergency service we feel you should never worry when your pipes burst or a leak becomes a problem. Just call us and we will fix your problem 24 hours a day. Not one of those typical “rooter” services we are a full service plumbing company. Our list of services is just a sampling of what we do. From water heaters to clogged drains to remodels and leak detection. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible service at a reasonable price. Description of Work: First time in awhile I have used a plumber and needed one asap. My kitchen faucet was leaking and did not know what was wrong since a family friend who is a plumber fixed it several months previously. Not to bother our elderly plumber I called West End and they came that same day which was great. They only problem was the part inside the faucet was loose. Unfortunately that incident cost over $100.00 which to me was alot but had to pay it. They are professional and will use again in an emergency.

Description of Work: I heard of West End Plumbing because they are partners with Air Around The Clock, who recently replaced my AC. I stopped in their store on Nob Hill Road and was impressed by their friendliness and professionalism. I needed 2 toilets installed and when I talked to them I knew the job would be done right and guaranteed. Three days later they were installed and the installers were again very personable and explained everything, including the rebates I was eligible for.

Description of Work: Stopped a leak and re-piped from bathroom sink thru attic down to shower. Allowed them to cut hole in ceiling but they didn't cover it up. Heat and insulation came into in bathroom. Called and it was covered. Didn't have time to call and compare others but this seemed to be expensive.

You may recall that we spoke on the evening after the work was completed & agreed that sealing any access points was not included in our proposal, however as you pointed out we did return to do so. At West End Plumbing we are challenged every day to provide superior service at the most reasonable cost to our customers. We did make a point to locate & cap the leak on the first visit, to make sure we allowed our customer to take the time necessary before proceeding with any additional work. We have found this to be a fair and reasonable process for our customers.

Description of Work: I did not use them because I was able to get the job done faster and a bit cheaper, I have used them in the past and they did an excellent renovation on my bathroom and have recommended them but this job they were to high and not quick enough to do the job

Description of Work: Awesome company bit on the expensive side- they took an old water filtration system out from under the kitchen sink; they looked at an tightened the kitchen faucet do it would stop leaking; looked at master |Bathroom shower handle determine I needed a part and lastly resolved a broken FLange in master toilet and reset the toilet - this for $522

When faced with a minor toilet repair we have what we call a minor toilet rebuild; it replaces 3 to 4 parts based on the style of toilet you have (the parts being the fill valve, flapper, supply tube & in most cases the handle). The reason for this is both the value for the price you pay & cost savings on any of those parts failing in the near future. We have found over the years that this tends to be the fairest way to service our customers.
