With over 20 years of service to the South Florida area, West End Plumbing, Inc is among the most reliable plumbing services in Broward county. Opened in 1981 by Ira Schachter and originally A-1 West End. The company was incorporated to A & I in 2005 when Ira passed the business to Adam Stricker. Adam apprenticed under Ira and now has more than 17 years experience and is a FL state certified Master Plumber. At West End Plumbing the customer comes first. This is why all calls are personally answered. You will never get an answering service. With our 24/7 emergency service we feel you should never worry when your pipes burst or a leak becomes a problem. Just call us and we will fix your problem 24 hours a day. Not one of those typical “rooter” services we are a full service plumbing company. Our list of services is just a sampling of what we do. From water heaters to clogged drains to remodels and leak detection. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible service at a reasonable price. Description of Work: They said we had old style wiring in the house and they were here a long long time and still didn't get the new water heater to start, the next morning a few electrician came in and verified that the wiring was not the issue with why the water heater wasn't working. They wanted me to pay 1299 for the job and i paid them 1000 because it want terribly. They were dreadful, they tried to mess me over for 1300 bucks.

We have serviced your home before and it would seem that it all previous service was satisfactory. In this particular situation, we had agreed to the discounted rate of $1000.00 prior to work commencing and it was pointed out that the electrical wiring may be an issue; even so we agreed to dispatch an electrician at our expense, this was done as a courtesy. We did do everything possible to accomplish your install in a timely manner. Please note that the heater was in an exterior shed and in no way in code compliant. The work we did brought everything to proper code, including the electrical. This being the case we still would like to extend our apologies for not having met or exceeded your expectations. Thank you again for your review.

Terrific so easy with these guys.
Description of Work: Changing our hot water tank. These guys were A1. Fast estimate, prompt coming here, no question on price or what work was to be done. I would get them again for any of my plumbing needs. There estimate was so reasonable and finished the job without any problems or having to come back to fix anything !!!!

Our records indicate we were out at your home on December 17, 2014 and arrangements were made to return on January 14, 2015. The scope of work was as follows: installation of a new water heater with a building shut down, new apartment main valve, new valve for the heater and an electrical upgrade. The total cost to you was $1,300.50 (after your Angie’s list discount). We see that on both visits to your home we called you to confirm the appointments and arrived on time. We also see that all work was completed in a timely manner and as agreed upon. We are not aware of any issues that would have led to your less than satisfactory review. This being the case We still would like to extend our apologies for not having met or exceeded your expectations. Thank you for your review.

We are unaware of any issues pertaining to the work done at your home, and we did check our records to see if you had called into the office with any issues that are currently in need of our attention, so that we can address them. The information that we have available to us shows that we serviced your home on October 9th and 10th of 2015 for a complex leak issue with the capping off and replacement of multiple 1/2" copper lines. This work over several days involving 3-4 of our plumbers and staff would seem to have been handled as efficiently as possible and priced to provide the best value for the cost. It is also indicated that we returned to your home on October 13th 2015 for what may have been an unrelated issue which you were not charged for. It is apparent to us, based on your review, that there may be some type of misunderstanding; if you would like please call into the office and we can go over any concerns you may have. Thank you.
