Job went well. Tank was leaking rust residue and water. Johnny, basically removed the guts of the tank and replaced with new parts.

The end result was what Johnny called a tornado, a swirl of water going down the drain. I was very happy with Johnny and West End Plumbing.

West End was great. They showed up on time, the price was as stated, and they even suggested a couple of improvements: one at a small cost, one no cost. A very professional operation.

Our very old hot water heater was still working, but the water wasn't very hot so we decided it was time for a new one. After doing some research, I settled on the Rheem model we wanted and decided to search Angie's list for a plumber. After reading the reviews, we called West End Plumbing and explained why we were calling and said we were in no rush. After confirming the model we wanted was in their stock, Adam said, "is today all right with you?' The price was less than I had been anticipating due to our Angie's list discount , so we told him "yes!".Within a few hours, the "A" team arrived. Justin and Hector went right to work disconnecting and draining the old heater, and within an hour, we had a new water heater all hooked up. They took the old one away and we now have a brand new heater. We never expected what could have been a headache of a project to be done so quickly and with so little fuss. Thank you!

Friendly office and technicians. Very prompt and courteous. Honored a very old coupon as best they could in spite of inflation. I did have a problem because of new requirements which meant less power/heat than what I had previously. They sent someone out to check on the installation which was fine. I still had issues with the temperature and reheating,so the owner came out and replaced a thermostat and explained some of the problems. Everyone involved was reassuring that the situation would be remedied, and it was.

They came out after hours, and it went great. They were very responsive, and they got the job done quick. No problems since and we are very happy.

I like the customer service it is extremely good. They are very knowledgeable and they clean up after themselves. I couldn't have found a contractor to do the kind of job they did. It deserves the good rating that it has, I found this company on Angie's List. They have reasonable prices and a very friendly staff. I will continue to use them if I ever need to. I keep their business card on my refrigerator.

The plumbing technician that came out clearly knew what he was doing and was very professional. He was clean and did the work efficiently. He told me, step by step, what was happening, and what needed to be done to repair it. He cleaned up after the job was done. He also honored the Angie's List discount.

Howard and Justin did the installation of the new Water Heater plus removed the old one. After talking with Justin and Howard I decided to add a pan and valve. They did a great job and honored my coupon. I have no reservations of highly recommending them.

This was a pleasant experience. Upon the technicians arrival I explained what I wanted done and then he gave me an estimate to perform the work. I agreed to the price and he began working. Upon completion, he cleaned the work areas, discarded the old parts and left the house in good order.

Each oft the toilets in our unit had issues. They arrived, diagnosed the problems. and gave us the possible solutions and costs. Once the decision was made, they completed the work within 2 hours, did a thorough cleanup and were gone. Exceptional work.

Yes, I could have refused the work to be done, but I did not. It is only after I spoke to other plumbers and friends did I realize that I was being overcharged in their opinion. I like these guys, but be aware, they will charge the most they can get out of you!

I couldn't get the water to turn off in our guest bathroom. I had to turn off the water to the whole house. I called West End and they came out the same day with in hours. They replaced the inside of the faucet with a new part heard it still leaking and replaced their part with another new part and stopped it completely. I paid them and we were done all with in an hour on my lunch break. Ted was a very nice person.

Don arrived right on time, removed the trap under the kitchen sink and cleared the blockage. Also replaced the shut off valve on the water heater that was leaking. He made sure everything was working properly before leaving, Was extremely efficient and very knowledgeable, Very nice man! Would definitely recommend and use them again!

We then fixed the problem ourselves and had to cancel the appointment. They were very nice about the fact that my husband was able to fix it. They were really polite, even though I was calling to cancel. I would be pleased to work with them in the future—I would definitely hire them!

My water heater quit working last night, and this morning (Feb 1, 2013) I couldn't get it to work after I followed instructions for trouble shooting on the water heater pamphlet. From Angie's List I contacted West End Plumbing at 9:30am to have somebody come out to repair, and if not cost efficient to repair, replace the current water heater. I was quoted a fair price to have the unit replaced and I was also given repair prices. An hour and a half after my call, the guys from West Coast Plumbing show up at my door. First we determined that my water heater was 14 years old. The repairman suggested that we just replace the unit versus doing a troubleshoot and repair. If they repaired I could look forward to another breakdown within the next couple of years because of the age of the unit. After comparing the price of a repair versus replacing the unit, it seemed more cost efficient to have the water heater replaced. The guys took about an hour, took out my old unit and replaced it with a new one. After the install, they waited around about 1/2 hour to make sure I had hot water, before I paid my bill and they left. I could not have asked for more efficient and professional service. I would not hesitate to call them again when I have my next plumbing problem.

We called West End Plumbing after reading a number of reviews posted by other Angies List Customers. They said they would come out the next morning but would call and let us know what time. This morning they called and said they would be out in about an hour. Forty five minutes later they were here. The plumber (Ted) asked me to tell him about the problem which was a water leak from the commode. After about 10 minutes, he called me into the bathroom to show me where the leak had originated and told me my options. One was to replace the commode (which was 14 years old) but he suggested he could fix it since it was not cracked if we wanted to keep using that commode. We decided to just repair the existing toilet which he accomplished within 30 minutes. He then waited around for about a half hour to insure the leak was fixed, flushing it several times. He indicated that we had a 12 month warranty on the job and then left. Overall, we were very satisfied. Ted was very professional and likable.

We had a water leak in our dining room that ended up being our water heater on the other side in our garage. I called West End Plumbing and they were out the next morning (we did not need emergency service, but they were ready if we needed it). After checking out our wet spots and our old water heater they informed me that it was the problem (which I was expecting due to the age of the heater). The plumber quoted me both prices for a tankless and a traditional tank water heater, and help clarify the difference. I chose to replace the unit with another tank heater. They had another unit there in 30 minutes and removed, installed and cleaned up all the debris very quickly. I was very pleased with the cost, work performed and professionalism from West End. They did know i was an Angie's List Member and quoted me a price based on that. I will use them in the future if I have any other problems.

Technician arrived on time--and proceeded to work immediately. He called his office and they proceeded to provide him a quoted price with labor and materials. He performed the repair in 30 minutes. I also asked him to look at some faucet leaks, which he did and proceeded to fix them with an upfront quote.

Called in the morning, very prompt and courteous. Was out by the afternoon. Was very accommodating to our needs. Good pricing.

The person who answered the phone and scheduled the job was friendly and professional. The plumber arrived within 5 minutes of the time the appointment was scheduled. He was pleasant and knowledgable, quick and worked clean. We will definitely continue to work with West End Plumbing.

The plumber arrived on time. He was knowledgeable in both identifying the nature of the problem and in how to best approach fixing it. He was professional, courteous and thorough. We think the price charged might have been a bit high, but in fairness, we did not compare the cost with that charged by other plumbers for similar services.
