The workers were there to get the job done and did a good job. Unsure about the faucet assessment, but other than that, it was nice to get a quick response on the various things I was hoping to get taken care of. They might have been just a tad friendlier, but that's okay. It was just good they had supplies and parts available to do what needed to get fixed.

They did a good job. They were prompt and professional. They were not the lowest price; but in Florida, it's been my experience that you get what you pay for! I am satisfied.

My kitchen faucet spray diverter failed and blocked the flow of water on New Years Day morning. I called the emergency service number, they said someone would arrive within 2 hours and he arrived early. I was very pleased with his professionalism and will use this company again.

Very well...I phoned this morning and Steve showed on time and correctly examined the problem and fixed it quickly. I would definitely use them again.

They were very responsive to my service call. The technician was excellent. Thought the price seemed a little bit high, and they definitely were pushing the new valve, but was satisfied overall.

Called at 2PM on a Tuesday - non emergency - and plumber showed up at 4PM. He did the work quickly and professionally, was very polite and the cost of the work was as promised. Excellent service and I will use them again.

I live in Arlington, Virginia and have a condominium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The hot water heater broke and I contacted West End to see if they could fix it. I called at 4:30 PM on a Tuesday and by 5:30 PM the same day, they had a plumber scheduled for the next day at 9:30 AM. The plumber called when he was 30 minutes away and was at the property at 9:30 AM. He verified that the old water heater was not functional and called me in Arlington to get my approval for the new 40 gallon Rheen water heater that he had on the truck. I told him that I wanted a 50 gallon and he cordially agreed and left to retrieve the 50 gallon water heater that I requested. He returned, re-plumbed the water pipes and electricity and was done by 12:00. The entire transaction was done by telephone and I had a new water heater within 20 hours of my original call to West End. All of the employees that I talked to were cordial, professional and easy to work with. At no time did anyone try to sell me something that I did not want. The plumber even lost time in leaving the work site to obtain the larger water heater that I wanted. If I ever need a plumber again, I am calling West End.

Everything went perfect from the time I called their office in the morning 'til the problems were fixed. I first spoke with Carla who was pleasant & patient while I was explaining my plumbing problems. Asked me when I would like someone to come to my home and when I said "whenever its possible" she told me she would check the schedule and call me right back, which she did with an appointment time between 10:30 & 12:30 that very day. About 25 minutes before the tech arrived, Carla called again to let me know Ted was on this way. Ted arrived, introduced himself and asked to see the problems. After accessing each, I told him I would like a quote on each as I wasn't sure I would be able to afford having everything fixed that day. He said he understood. He gave me a quote for each item on my list and explained what discounts I would be receiving for being on the Angie's List. Realizing it would make good sense to go ahead and repair all the problems at this time for the best discount, I gave Ted the go ahead. He told me how much time it should take and went straight to work. After the water was turned back on, he checked everything to make sure there were no problems with his work. He then asked me to go ahead and check everything. He left each bathroom clean and before leaving he checked his work again. I was very pleased with the whole process.

Called to confirm appointment, called again 30 min. prior to arriving, arrived on time, installed in no time and explained what they were doing as well as inspected two bathrooms (at my request) and cleared a clogged sink and bathtub drain for me...First time I didn't feel like I was being ripped off by a company coming into my home.. Thanks for the great service!

The Plummer fixed the toilet and installed a rubber part, he didn't even charge me for the part

The company and all employees were very professional, came the same day I called, and it was replaced within a few hours. I would highly recommend West End

They were professional and punctual, as well as courteous; providing me with a reasonable discount for their service. They advised that I replace the toilet, which I plan to do, and I plan to use them for that service as well.

I had 3 plumbers come over and they could not find it, but they found that it was the caulking. There was water running down into the slider, into the floor and stuff. They were awesome and I really liked them. They were thorough. They were great and they came out the next day.

Generally, well. However,considering that the job did not include detection of the problem, I was a bit suprised at the pricing. I was told the charges were $19.95 for a the estimate but if job given it will be $95.00 p/hr. I agreed for them to do the job of repairing the leak at a cost of $345.00. One of the techs then suggested I change the valve to the water heater and I agreed with him that, based on its age, it's probably best to change it, at a charge of an additional $145.00. As I said, I felt the charges were a bit uneven for the time spent, even if additional staff returned a few hours later to reopen the hot water valves to the house.The entire job took barely more than one hour so I am unable to see how, especially with such minimal, relatively cheap parts, the job at $95.00 p/hr, could cost $495.00 (less 10% Angie's discount). As I said above though, except for cost,I am generally satisfied and based on my experience with the four roofing companies (from Angie's list and who I will also rate ) that quoted my supposed roof leak at $2,400.00 to $6,800.00, I was more than relieved to hire West End Plumbing. I would still hire and recommend them in the future.

Having three kids and two seniors present in the house there was no warm water available in the house due to a broken heater. I got the review from Angie's list and seeing that it was an excellent company i called them to see if they could fix it right away. They didn't ask for any details over the heater through the phone and claimed that this would be an emergency visit. We agreed and they arrived three and half hours later, only to look around the heater and tell us that they do not have the available parts to fix the heater and that we would have to wait two more days just so that they could come and re-check the heater again! For the call alone they charged us $150 just to do absolutely nothing! We are extremely disappointed in the company's ethic.

They were very professional. They were on time. They were very thorough. I felt comfortable with the service they provided.

CJ and Ted from West End Plumbing arrived on time and assessed the broken exterior hose faucet. It was the original valve from 1989 and we could not screw in an outdoor hose to the faucet because water was spurting out from the old faucet. They discussed options for replacement and also option for PLACEMENT of the new faucet and turn on/off valve. After completing the work, I asked them to a**** our house water shut-off valve. It, too was an original, so they showed me different valve types they had in the truck. They called their office, got an estimate, and since they were on site, I decided to move ahead with replacing the house water valve. Because it was same day work, they also gave me another price break--which was greatly appreciated. The work was completed perfectly, and I now have a fresh new exterior faucet and a MUCH EASIER shut-off valve to our home. The shut off valve is a simple lever instead of the hold turn handle (which would have taken a wrench and a lot of muscle to turn off). The team was great, they did not push the additional work of replacing the water valve to the house. That was my decision, and I was thrilled to have it done the same day. The work on the house valve included removing years old pipes with a blowtorch, and then replacing it with the new lever shut off. Very VERY happy with the work, with CJ and Ted, and would DEFINITELY use this company again!

We had had another company come out to look at our toilet that was leaking and rocking. They just put a bunch of what looked like cement around the base and called it a day, but it didn't fix the problem. At that point we decided to try West End Plumbing. We had a great experience. The girl in the office who took the call was very courteous and was able to get someone out to the house the same day. The plumber, Don, that came to the house was very polite & professional. He told us a price before beginning the work, and included our 10% off discount for being an angies list member. He pulled all of the cement looking stuff off of our toilet, removed it, replaced some parts in the floor and put it back in. We were so happy with the staff and service and will definitely be using them again.

My husband found that the installer did not want to go by the estimated quote and there was negotiation as to the final price. Ultimately the work was performed but not without issues. The faucet leaked (we fixed it mostly ourselves.) The insta hot dispenser installed sputters sometimes dangerously (the manufacturer says this is an air leak) and it squeals or squeaks with use.

Technician arrived promptly after confirming arrival window by phone earlier that morning. Was familiar with house having used them previously. Examined work done by other contractor, pronounced it satisfactory and proceeded to clean line with snake. Went outside to check area near septic tank to confirm that depression noticed was simply settling of soil in that area - suggested how to fill in to keep further settling from occurring. Suggested we consider having a camera examination of the pipes running beneath the house slab. Explained why the camera probe would be beneficial considering the age of the house and the type of materials used at that time. Did not push for the extra service, but answered all our questions about what would happen if anything negative was found. After follow up discussions, we contacted them to schedule the camera work for peace of mind and as a reference for future problems because of the age of the house (over 55 years). Also suggested we consider their annual "maintenance" program since our history showed they had been called for several small issues in the recent past. Explained the entire program - again, not pushing the service but explaining the benefits considering the residence age and our recent usage of their services. We opted for the program and the cost of the service call was applied against the program price.

Two of the toilets still needed more work. The plumber returned and replaced all the insides of the two toilets and they are now functioning well

They sent a technician same day I called. He offered to fix it or replace it. For the cost and considering broken heater was 12 years old, I decided to get a new one. Price was at least 30% less than Sears and home depot, and 10 to 15% less than other local contractors. work was done quickly, very clean, we were only without water for a couple of hours. Will definitely call again for any plumbing needs.
