I’ve used Dan from Vaughan’s Door Service for 4 jobs in the last couple of years. His service is impeccable. The estimation, scheduling, promptness, cleanup and professionalism couldn’t have been better. Dan is a perfectionist and wants his work to look great and his customer to be happy. From spray painting and caulking to the exactness of molding and trim corners. Work I’ve had done: - All 5 of my interior doors replaced with new casings, trim, painting and hardware - All 5 of my interior closet metal bifold doors removed, off-site sanded and repainted, replaced and adjusted along with new trim - A new track put on a pocket door that now works better than new - Installation of an automatic door closer. - Installation of decorative chair molding in kitchen and around entire bedroom I highly recommend Vaughan’s Door Service.

I highly recommend Vaughan's Door Service. I have used them several times over the years. They repaired my front and screen patio doors and installed and painted a bedroom door. The owner is highly skilled, does quality work, and has fair prices.

I used Vaughan's thru Angie's list previously to fix an old slider that needed a new track and rollers. Now, to replace this door, after pricing big-box, I went to Dan and the door he came up with and the experience was AMAZING!! I recommend them highly as experienced, prompt, thorough and honest!!! Don't fight that sliding door, give Vaughan's a call!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dan took the time to understand the issues we were having with our lockset on the front door after we had it replaced by another vendor years ago. He was quickly able to diagnose the problem and fix it while installing a new lockset for us. Couldn't be happier with the result, just wish I had contacted Vaughan's Door Service sooner!

From my experience he didn't listen to customer's needs, he just wanted to do whatever he felt like and it doesn't work like that. At the day of the installation I saw he was ready to put the trim in even though he didn't fill in the large gaps between the door and frame, etc.. He doesn't want to explain the process or address concerns in order to continue finishing the job and his attitude feels rude, mean, and disrespectful.

Dan was excellent- from scheduling and estimated through completion. The house was built in the 50s and the job wasn’t simple but he kept an e cells to attitude and worked through removal and replacement efficiently and professionally. The new door looks and functions perfectly. He left the work area clean. An all around nice trustworthy person - that happens to also do great work.

Dan, Is probably the best contractor i've dealt with in South Florida during my 5 years living here. Professional, no nonsense approach, never tried to up sell me when he could've easily done so. I've referred him to everyone in my network.

Fantastic working with Dan and Tina of Vaughan’s. They are professional and dependable. The install of doors by another company was messy and a few short cuts taken. Not with Dan - no shortcuts and extreme efforts to contain dust. The doors are beautiful and easy to open/close and lock. One lock was being difficult and Dan worked on it to resolve. That is his work - dependable, honest, and professional. If you need doors replaced, look no further.

Job was done as requested. A few weeks later I noticed that the screen was coming loose. I called, emailed,texted and left messages on your site trying to get him to fix it but all to no avail. He never called back so I bought a cheap installation tool and did it myself. Maybe he went out of business.

An exterior door from the garage to the side yard was falling apart and I was not using it because I had trouble opening and closing it. I called Vaughan’s and he came out the next day. After looking it over and discussing it with me, he decided it was repairable and got to work. He also fixed a sliding screen door for me. Nice to have working doors again!

Dan was on time, and did a fantastic job. He put new life into my 30 year old original steel doors!

Dan is very good at what he does. Showed up on time and worked four hours straight until the job was done to my satisfaction.

Great. Answered my call on the 3rd ring asked me what I needed and said they would call back soon with an appointment. 30 minutes later I had a day scheduled. Dan Vaughn showed up on the appointed day and the appointed time, looked at the work I needed done and gave me what I thought was a fair price. I called, set up an appointment for the job and Dan showed up on time and did the job to my satisfaction. Bottom line: I’m happy with Vaughn’s door service.

Dan installed new weather stripping, made several adjustments to the door and frame. At my request, he also replaced rollers on my sliding doors, replaced screens on a garage door and replaced, repaired and adjusted various other door parts. He is very knowledgeable and was very thorough and meticulous. Provides a great service!

Excellent job!! Extremely professional and great communication. Dan, the owner, came out and did the job in about 4 hours. Very precise and detailed oriented. Watching him work inspired great confidence in his ability to do the job. What I thought would be difficult and a big concern for me was that my porcelain floor had to be cut to accommodate the door. Not a problem - Dan handled it with ease. The door looks great and I highly recommend Dan for all door installation/repair.

Dan came out and had to change the door wheels and fix the track. The door is working perfectly now. Moves now with one finger...no more dragging! Dan set up appointment, came on time and was very professional. His office called ahead and alerted me he was on his way which I very much appreciated. He took the time to explain things to me and show me what he was doing. I will be using him again in the future as needed.

He spoke with me first on the phone at length explaining the different types of doors. Once that was settled, he went to pick up the door we finally decided on. While at the store, he found a better door and called me. Between sending me a picture of the door and talking with me, it was decided this was a much better door. It was $100 more but well worth it. Dan went above and beyond because he did not have to go out of his way to let me know about a better door that he came across. He could have just left it at what we decided on, but going that extra step proves he cares about his customers. I also spoke with Tina (Dan’s wife) when confirming the installation date. She is equally great. On installation day Tina called to say Dan was on his way and he arrived as scheduled. He removed the old door and installed the new door. It is amazing what a difference a new door can make. Installation went smoothly. I am very pleased with the whole process from beginning to end. Dan cleaned up the area during and after the installation was complete. Dan pays attention to detail which seems to be a quality lacking with many others these days. Dan is an exceptional person. He wants his customers to be happy with the finished product. He will explain anything to you if you have questions (which I had a lot). No matter what type of door you may need, make sure you call Vaughans Door Service before you make a final decision.
