6 months ago I had been searching for a new garage door for about a month and had already received several quotes and knew exactly what I wanted. As I was ready to commit to one company, I found Unique Garage Door and decided to just call and see what price they had on the door I wanted. Isaac was very friendly and told me he would get me a price and call me back. In about an hour, Isaac called and quoted me a very competitive price. He then came out the same day and showed me several other options, all within the same carriage door style. He knew what each door manufacturer had to offer and compared them all. Isaac was super patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. So much so that I chose him on the spot. The new door was installed 2 days ago and I am amazed at how great it looks. The installer, Allan, was also super friendly and attentive to detail. The silent system hinges that Isaac suggested are definitely worth it. They really do make a difference. I am so used to the noise from the old door that I keep thinking this door is not opening and hit the button again. So quiet! Unique Garage Door Services is the way to go. You wont be disappointed. Isaac's work is excellent! My garage door came detached from the opener on a Sunday afternoon. I messaged Isaac via Angie's List that evening and he responded within the hour saying he could be there to fix it the next day. True to his word, he arrived the next morning on time, fixed the door and did a little extra maintenance to make it open/close more smoothly. I HIGHLY recommend Unique Garage Door Services and will DEFINITELY hire them again!

OK. Showed up on time but forgot to call when he was on his way.

This is the second time I have used Isaac in just over a year. The first time, a spring broke on my garage door. I called Isaac and he came right out, installed and adjusted new counterbalance springs on the door. His work was quick, thorough and professional. He answered all my questions, explained what he was doing and why, and charged me a surprisingly modest amount for the time he spent. So today when my garage door failed to open (after I checked the springs - still in good shape) I called Isaac again. He was here in about an hour, determined that the problem was a broken drive belt, replaced the belt and checked and lubed the other parts of my door. As a plus, the garage door no longer squeaks and rattles; it is as quiet as a new one. Again, not expensive for the amount of time he was here and what looked like a fairly expensive belt. I recommend him and his company highly and have already referred him to a neighbor.

Door wouldn't balance and made creaking noises going up and down. I was told door wouldn't balance because springs were too small. He did some adjustments on motor and left. Door still unbalanced (with motor detached door won't stay up until it is pushed essentially all the way up instead of half way) and a few days later door started not opening all the way. Had another company in who told me springs were fine but rollers were shot. Replaced rollers and door quietly goes up and down and is balanced.

The service was excellent. He was very professional and also listens to his customers. He's very honest and reasonable. Technically wise, he's a perfectionist. I was very impressed.

It went quite well. It was fine. We had gotten a quote from a gentleman who came to replace the spring before we contacted Unique and he had quoted a price of like $30 a roller. it was just a coincidence that Angie?s List offered that deal and I think it was like $10 a roller, something like that. It was a huge savings. We were very pleased that we saved that much money. We had like 10 rollers and the guy wanted $30 a roller, so it was like $300. When we saw Angie?s List deal, it was like ?wow, that?s great!? The first time he said he would come at a certain time and it was quite a bit later. He did call eventually and said, ?I am still going to be there?, because we weren?t sure if he was still going to come. Then when we tried to get him to come back we had a little bit of a problem trying to get him to come back. It wasn?t horrible or anything that I would complain about. He was just probably busy. I just remember, I think he did say the first time that he was going to come a certain day. We called him and he said he had a family emergency. I think he did come the next day or so. There was just a little bit of a glitch with him actually coming.

Happy with the work and that I was able to have the work done on a weekend.

I hired them for the garage door inspection and tune up. It said it would include replacement rollers and spring. I only got the rollers. When I bought the service I gave three dates for the following week Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. I didn't didn't hear back until the following Thursday night at 930pm. I scheduled for the Monday the 30th almost two weeks later and stayed home all day. I never heard a thing. I called and left a terse message. Two day later they called to reschedule to avoid giving a refund. They finally kept this appointment and called before arriving. They were fast and friendly but never offered any apology or explanation. I wouldn't recommend them and don't feel the service was worth the $89 and feel they should have offered at least a partial refund

It went well - he also made some minor adjustments to the tracks and now the door is much quieter.

Isaac oiled hinges and adjusted the sensor. After he left, we were unable to close the garage door after pulling out the car. We had to manually close it as well as manually open it upon returning. We called him and he said he would be back early Monday morning on his way to another job. He never showed. We called and left a message, but he never returned the call and never showed.

He never showed up. Billed my credit card and didn't have the courtesy to call. I called him and was informed that he had an emergency call to attend to. When I asked why he had not telephoned, he ignored my question and said let's reschedule. I told him that I would never do business with such an unprofessional.person again.

Paid for with coupon from Angie's list. I am happy with the service.

They did a very good, they were very through and I would use them again to service my garage door!

Excellent! Replaced all the rollers and as a bonus changed a broken bracket and rewired the wall switch.
