I called Cindy at 9am and she had Anthony at my home before 2pm as promised. After a complete inspection, Anthony adjusted both springs, one track and lubricated all the rollers and hinges. Very pleased with the services provided and the reasonable price charged.

I've been calling Door Doctor for many years, especially since my trouble with my prior vendor. I've also been referring them to all of my real-estate clients who need door repair. Gabriel came right on time. He did the work perfectly, neatly and professionally. I was charged a fair rate. He also checked my 2nd door and oiled it. He then taught me how to program the openers in my cars. I would highly recommend Door Doctor and can say with certainty, they are truly the best!

Their service was excellent. They replaced the specific part only whereas another company told us we probably needed to replace the entire astragal. That would have been much more expensive and unnecessary. This company was recommended to us by Ace Hardware and we were very pleased. They tracked down the specific part, ordered it and had it installed. They kept us in the loop and followed up with us rather than our having to track them down.

My initial thought was that our garage door opener wasn't strong enough to lift the weight of the hurricane 2-car door. The representative could have easily tried to upsell us for a new opener and instead explained that these hurricane doors are very heavy and it simply needed lubricating and that the opener was in good condition and adequate. We appreciated their honesty and professionalism and will most definitely rely upon them again for future garage door needs and repairs.

They came for the repair quickly, and did a very good job. Very nice. He was so careful to balance the springs, too. He really knew what he was doing, and took his time.

Everyone I have spoken to at this company has a bad attitude. They were prompt to give estimate. The sales rep wasn't very friendly but after a while he warmed up and gave us a good explanation of what we needed. I took over 4 weeks for the door to come in. This was a surprise. The installation went well. Although they left the wire to the opener exposed and loose. The day of installation I got a call at work from a woman looking to get paid. I told her no problem but, I would need someone to come out and explain the operation of my new garage door. The same sales rep came out. With a worse attitude than before. He just wanted the check. I asked his to tell me what need to know about the door. He Just looked at me like I had four heads. I had to pull answers out of him. We were having other work done to our home and unfortunately one of the sensors, which are being feld on by these flimsy brackets was knock out of alignment. The door wouldn't close. I did check that there wasn't anything in the way of the sensor but I didn't realize that it was out of alignment. I called the next day to have someone come out and check it. I got a call at work and was scolded and told that they would charge me if they have to come out again to fix the sensors. This was aggravating because I had ask for someone to explain the operation of this door. And they didn't.

GARY CAME TO THE HOME AND GAVE US AN ESTIMATE FOR THE COMPLETE JOB ON MARCH 11, 2013. JOB WAS TO BE COMPLETED IN THREE TO FOUR WEEKS AT THE LATEST. WE CALLED TO CHECK DELIVERY DATE SEVERAL TIMES. JOB NEEDED TO BE FINISHED NO LATER THAN THE FIRST OF MAY. THEY DELAYED PULLING PERMITS BECAUSE ENTRY DOORS WERE SPECIAL ORDERED AND THEN BACK ORDERED -- WE DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE DELAY IN THE DELIVERY OF THE ENTRY DOORS! INSTALLED THE GARAGE DOOR IN EARLY - MID APRIL -- ONE ENTRY DOOR ON APRIL 25 AND THE SECOND ENTRY DOOR ON APRIL 30! NO PROBLEM WITH THE INSTALLATION -- THE TWO MEN DID A GREAT JOB. CLEANED UP AFTER INSTALLING AND HAULED OFF THE OLD DOORS.

The work went very well. The installers showed up right on time and went about removing the old garage door and installing the new one. The work was finished within two hours and everything proceeded smoothly. I was very satisfied with the finished product. I will definitely use them again for other work I have planned.

Excellent. Richard completed the repair in 20 minutes, lubricated the door, adjusted a few loose bolts, adjusted the opener to ensure it did not bumped up against itself, and tested it several times. All is well, I have a new spring, and my door operates smoothly.

It did not go very good with them. They put a door opener in and the door kept on opening by itself. The woman in the office was impossible to deal with, who is the owner. She acted belligerent and acted very unprofessional. She did send someone out to look at it, but he did nothing. She then told me that she was not going to send anyone else over. I then had to get VISA involved to mediate. After I contacted VISA, she agreed to have someone come over and he said that it was just a frequency problem. The door opener is still opening by itself, and we still have to unplug it when we leave the house or go to sleep at night. The automatic lock button is still not working. UPDATE: 7/26/2012 The garage door opener works if I'm pushing the button inside the garage, but not when I use the remote from the car. When I called back to get someone to take a look at it, they looked up my address and the woman said they weren't going to come out and look at it. When I asked why not since the door is still under warranty, she hung up on me. At this point I would like them to come take the opener out and give me my money back.

Called them around noon on Monday. They could not come out that day, but would be available Tuesday. They called Tuesday morning and arrived by 10:00 am. Completely dismantled old garage door opener, controls and coil springs. Installed all new components. Removed all old components and cleaned up work area. All work was completed by noon. Installer was very thorough and professional. He provided owner's manual, explained operation of new door opener and answered all my questions satisfactorily.

Called the Door Doctor at 9 this morning, he said he could have somebody out between 12 and 2. Great. Called me at at 12:09 to say the guy was on his way. Great. An hour later, no show, I called back..said the guy had to make a stop, and would be there in 10 minutes (which he then was). All in all this was in the window of 12-2, so while I can't really complain I just don't like waiting more than i need to. Ok..Richard quickly diagnosed the problem, quoted me a reasonable price, and 30 minutes later it was fixed. He was unsure of any Angie's list discounts, but did know about the $15 off from the website coupon, so I used that. Only 30 day warranty which I feel is a bit short, but with nothing to compare to I guess I'll go with. Would use again.

Everything was perfect. On the first visit, I was told about different options and given an explanation of the product and process. The representative was clean, articulate and professional - and, most important - he was thoroughly knowledgeable. Whenever there was a choice for me to make, I had to choose the least expensive option. At no time was I made to feel that I should upgrade or make a more expensive selection. The door was installed approx. three weeks later, after the city permit had been received. The workers were very friendly and careful. While they were working, I needed to run to the post office, but I was worried that they might finish while I was gone. I didn't want them to leave without giving me necessary instructions. They assured me that they would wait for me, and they did. I received complete, clear information on the use of my new door and remote, and they even put a new light bulb into the unit so I wouldn't have to change it myself. I had delayed getting a new door for many months, not wanting to deal with the hassle. If I had known about the Door Doctor, I would have done it right away. I'm enormously impressed with this company.

I used them on 3rd December 2010. It was a very positive experience. They arrived when they said they would and they were on time. The guy was appropriate and very professional. He did the work promptly and in an appropriate manner. I have had some work done on the door before it was a little more.

I called and they said someone would be out on the next day and supplied a two hour window. They call to let us know they were on the way. The technician adviced us up front on the amount we would be charged and also if necessary cost for parts. No hidden costs or charges. Very courteous and professional. And best of all we got a discount for being a member of Angie's List.

They said they would have somebody there a day after I called. The guy came and looked at it. He said it would be a couple of hours and gave me the price. It was a couple of hours and it worked fine after the man got finished, so I was very happy with them. I was surprised and I was very happy. I would absolutely use them again.

I called the company in late morning. The girl said she would have someone out that day. They came late in the day but the guy gave us an estimate to replace the two broken springs for $255. He was honest, straightforward and quick. Took him maybe an hour. Just what you want, fast reasonably priced service without a hassle.
