The Cleaning Fairy

The Fairies arrived to my apartment on time, gave me a right price estimate and started services immediately. They have their own products and tools for the cleaning and are very quick and professional. I hired them for every other week service and have a key of the house also. Highly recommend.

poorly - I did not receive the value of the service for which I paid. At our initial meeting, The Cleaning Fairy Partner Ana Maria Mena informed me that the first cleaning would cost $240; subsequent cleanings would cost $100 each. Ms. Mena told me that all of her clients were referred via Angie's List. I had read Angie's List web-site article "General House Cleaning vs. Deep Cleaning" and understood that the initial cleaning would be more thorough and cost more accordingly; I agreed to pay the $240. 1) At the initial meeting, I offered to have my husband remove the mini-blinds & wash them outside of the house. Ms. Mena replied that it would not be necessary; she understood the difference between using a feather duster which just scattered the dust, using a microfiber cloth which was better, but not that effective, & washing min-blinds with a wrung out wet rag, which truly cleaned the blinds. I relented and accepted Ms. Mena's offer to use a wrung out wet rag. At the end of our meeting, I reiterated my offer. Ms. Mena again assured me that she knew what she was doing and again I relented. I WAS HOME DURING THE CLEANING AND PERSONALLY TWICE OBSERVED THE CLEANING FAIRY PERSONNEL SUPERFICIALLY DUSTING THE BLINDS. I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED - JUST ONE MORE SERVICE PERSON WHO TALKS THE TALK, BUT DOES NOT WALK THE WALK - AND FELT SO BAD THAT I DID NOT FEEL UP TO A CONFRONTATION WITH MS. MENA AT THAT TIME. 2) At the initial meeting, Ms. Mena and I also specifically discussed baseboards; she assured me that they would be included in the cleaning. AFTER THE CLEANING WAS COMPLETED I CHECKED THE BASEBOARDS IN BOTH BATHROOMS & THEY WERE DUSTY & DIRTY. 3) I CHECKED THE TOP OF THE REFRIGERATOR & IT WAS DUSTY. 4) I CHECKED THE LEDGE OF THE GUEST BATHROOM BACKSPLASH AND IT WAS DUSTY. Three cleaners spent two hours cleaning my house. By either the standard represented by Ms. Mena in word and in writing on her web-site, or the standard discussed in the article on the web-site of Angie's List, which Ms. Mena represents to every one of her clients, I BELIEVE THAT I PAID $240 FOR A JOB THAT WAS PERFORMED COMMENSURATE WITH A $100 CHARGE. Last but not least, while I was in the house during the cleaning, I was doing paperwork. When the cleaners worked on the west side of the house, I stayed on the east, and vice versa. At one time I had to enter the part of the house that was being cleaned and Ms. Mena told me in no uncertain terms not to do this again! No "please", no "for you safety" - just a rude command, unacceptable at a charge of $0.

They have been cleaning my apartment every 2 weeks for the past 5 months. They are always punctual and professional, but most importantly, the do a very detailed cleaning of the apartment. It's nice to come home a nicely cleaned apartment. Last but not least, they are fair in their pricing and pleasant to work with. I'm in an 1,100 sq ft apartment and pay $80 per cleaning every two weeks.

We hired the Cleaning Fairies after we finished remodeling which happened to be right before a big party at our home. Cleaning fairies were pretty easy to schedule but we did give them a week or two notice to start . I like that she came to our home to give us an estimate. It gave us a chance to meet Ana Maria and ask all the questions we wanted answered before hiring her team. After our deep cleaning, we knew we wanted to use them on a reoccurring basis. Currently they come to our home twice a week. They do a great job cleaning the house. I have a dog and they are great with bringing him in and out when they are cleaning. Ana Maria and her team are great with texting which I love because it makes it easy to communicate if anything comes up. Overall, I would recommend them to my friends and family.

I have retained them to clean our home on a weekly basis. They have done a very good job and we are pleased with the service.

My Fiance and I work very long hours. On our days off we rather spend quality time together, instead of doing chores around the apartment. That's why we decided to look into some help. We found Ana (The Cleaning Fairy) on Angie's list, and she did not disappoint. Every other week, Ana and her fairies show up and spread their enchanting sparkle all over our place. Even our dog Dolce loves it when they come. It's nice to come home from a long day of work to a fresh clean place. The Fairies, are prompt, professional, thorough, and most of all honest. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is in need of their services.

Excellent job. These ladies do a great job of cleaning and the cleaning is very detailed. Bathrooms and kitchens are very important to me and they do a great job in these rooms.

They come bi-weekly. They are excellent.

Very please with the service. They are efficient and pretty thorough. So far so good. They show up on time and work hard. It is either 2 or 3 women and they are there for 1.5-2 hrs depending on how many are there. No complaints on the cleaning either. If there is something I feel they missed, I just let them know the next time and it gets taken care of. Will continue to use and have even recommended to some friends.

We hired them for a deep clean and she did everything from showers to baseboards to cleaning behind the bed and Windows and mirrors. Literally my house was spotless. I love her!!

I contacted Ana Mena and we made a date for her to meet and view my home. On that scheduled cleaning date my house was cleaned from top to bottom by Ana and another of her crew and I was very satisfied. They also cleaned from top to bottom on the subsequent visits. This includes ceiling fans, window blinds, lamps/shades and all surfaces in the house except windows and I'm sure they would do the inside of the windows if I asked them to. You need to explain just what you require and Ana will set the price, which for me was very fair. Ana Mena is very responsive and willing to please. I recommend her cleaning service highly.

My experience with this service was brief and not very helpful. I called the provided number, but received no response. A few minutes later, I was called back by someone from the company. I asked if she could provide a general estimate for a cleaning service, and she said she would need to come see the house. This was an odd request to me, as I have used several cleaning services in the past, and all were able to provide at least an hourly estimate based on the size of the house, the number of bedrooms, etc. I asked if she could generally give me a price over the phone, if I described it to her, and she repeated that she would have to physically be in the house. I said I did not want to do that... and she somewhat cheerfully said "Okay, bye!" and hung up.

After Ana and her team returned to do the work, they did a beautiful job. Ana and her team now do regular service to my home every 2 weeks and these are my 2 favorite days of the month. And these services are a fraction of the initial visit, but they still continue to do great work!!!

I made 2 appointments with company and both times they were a no show.

I have always taken pride in cleaning my own home. I had been very leery to have a stranger come to help me clean because of all the horror stories that I had heard of regarding cleaning people. It was last December and we had scheduled family and friends to come over to visit for the holidays. I have gotten the flu from my two year old son and was not feeling well enough to clean the house. With the holidays approaching fast and my cold not getting better our house filthy and not up to my standards to receive guest over. the fact that we have two dogs with black fur, white tile floor and a toddler meant that the house was dirty. My husband told me that I had a choice, if I wanted help cleaning the house I would have to give up my Christmas gift that year and he would look into finding a cleaning company. Despite my hesitations, I went without a gift that Christmas, but I received a cleaning service with the company that he found on Angie's List. It was such a pleasant experience having Ana and her crew clean our home. Needless to say, we decided to continue service with The Cleaning Fairy every two weeks on a regular basis. to this day it has been a blessing having them clean our home!. We would recommend their service to anyone who is on the fence and has issues about letting strangers into their home.

, , It went great, started using The cleaning Fairy a few months ago. The ladies will be back tomorrow. We've been on vacation so we've missed a few times. Plan on keeping them every 2 weeks. They're Personable, nice, efficient,, clean thoroughly. VERY HAPPY. Couldn't ask for more.

We highly recommend The Cleaning Fairy! A very courteous, professional team of ladies performed a deep clean of our two-story house after we had the entire interior painted. There was dust everywhere. The Cleaning Fairies took care of it and the house looked wonderful. The service was not cheap, but the quality of the work was worth the price. These ladies are professionals.

The Fairy and her staff do a thorough cleaning. Initial cleaning excellent and now they are maintaining it and it looks super!

My wife and I were looking for reliable housekeeping services to clean our 2/2 condo. You?d think that?d be easy? nope. In the past, we?d hire highly regarded services, only to have them show up once for the initial cleaning and never again. My wife works from home, they had a lot of access, they just wanted to get the initial cleaning fee and disappear. Worse yet, they?d send housekeepers who were allergic to our cat, didn?t speak sufficient english to understand the basics, or refused to mop the tile floors or scrub our bathtub. The Cleaning Fairy has been a breath of fresh air! I look forward to every other Thursday, when I get home from work to a spotless, sparkling apartment that smells amazing and the floor is free of dust and specks! The staff works rapidly and thoroughly, and the price is right. My wife and I are expecting a baby this winter, and she?ll have her hands full, literally ? so I?m elated to have our Cleaning Fairy around!

Caring for an elderly mom with the many added responsibilities, and working from home, I was in need of some external help around the house. I called a few cleaners from Angie?s List, and Cleaning Fairy owner Ana Maria was quick to respond. She came to the villa and provided cost for ongoing cleaning. To date, the fairies have cleaned twice, and left me very happy, with a renewed, sparkly clean environment. Additionally, their presence is positive and upbeat, which adds immensely to the finished product!
