Description of Work: I had gotten an estimate on a new hot water heater from a scammer plumber who said I needed (I forget the exact term) some type of overflow thing per the City. I called the City and I did not need that unnecessary item. Mr. Tebbe was very reasonable, answered all my questions and went out of his way to explain everything to me. I rate his services as very honest and professional.

Description of Work: The spout in our bathroom had a constant foe of water. I left a message on Sunday and the owner called me back first thing on Monday. He had a technician at my house by 10:30. He had to come back twice due to stripped screws and parts but it was fixed by 5:30 in the afternoon. Extremely responsive. We were very satisfied.

+ -1 moreI spoke with the owner, Gregg Tebbe, and described the problem on the phone. He spent quite a long time speaking with us. He said the worst case would require digging up slab and running new pipes once leak was located. Best scenario was a pipe leak coming from the wall/pipe connection. The worst case was several thousands of dollars; the best case was several hundreds of dollars. They arrived right on time in the morning as promised. They diagnosed the problem and told me what needed to be done to fix the leak. It turns out it was a pipe leak in wall. Rarely when someone gives you the best case and worst case scenario does it turn out to be best case. They were VERY HONEST and FAIR AND IT ONLY COST $400!!! I would highly recommend them!

water heater repair
+ -1 moreUsing Angie's List, we chose Tebbe Plumbing because of 2 very positive reports (under ''Water Heaters''), and because Gregg (the owner) responded the same day to our call with a clear explanation of what they would do, and that they could install it within 2 days. And though the cost was not as critical to us (we wanted hot water!), their quote was the lowest among 6 contractors. Ivan and Fernando did a good job installing the water heater. They were on-time (8:00 AM), made sure that we were OK with how they were going to install it, rerouted the T&P line (the line on the old water heater ran from the top while the new one runs from the side), installed an unbreakable water shut-off valve, and discarded the old water heater. We appreciate the work that Tebbe did for us, and also Angie's List for helping us to find them.
