Everyone did a great job from the first time I made contact with them! On-time for the estimate, wardrobe boxes dropped off for use during the move and the guys that came out were gems...professional, courteous, willing to do whatever I needed them to do! I would definitely recommend them for a move! Thanks everyone🤗

Nothing went the way it was supposed to. Their estimator was a great guy and was very knowledgeable which is why we bought into the company. He painted us a beautiful picture on how everything would go: 2 days for packing, experienced packers, everything had it's own style of box for no damage with a full pack. How it actually went: The packers didn't show up on the first day and they weren't even scheduled to be at our home when we called. They apologized and said they would send two teams early the next day at 8 am to make up for it and that they'd be able to finish quickly as to not push our schedule back. The next day they didn't show up until 12PM and didnt finish until close to midnight pushing both our personal schedule and the move back while costing us additional money for the delay. The packing team started off nicely, but as they started noticing why it was supposed to be a 2 day job, they definitely made it known by throwing a tantrum and cursing about how they wanted to go home every 2 minutes in front of us. One of them even told me that "he wished we went to him personally instead of the company because he could have had all the money to himself." Finally when the product made it to our home we found that many things we dented, scratched or broken. delicate items were just thrown into large boxes with little care as if they couldn't get out of our house fast enough, suits and dresses that already had hangers were thrown into a wardrobe box without being hung, and the guy who unloaded our belongings at the new location clearly snapped our bedroom's headboard as I watched him leaning on it while unloading and he tried to deny it by blaming the people who packed it even though I saw and heard it snap. Beyond unprofessional and came in a lot higher in price than the other companies who bid for our move. Unfortunately it was too late for us to realize the mistake we made. We are gathering all photo evidence as we unpack.

I hired Summit to do a move for my mother and they managed to damage a few items in the process. They pretend to care when they deliver the move. We pointed out broken things and they took notes and pictures, then they tell you to start a claim with their insurance company (moving claims.net) which is a third party company. When I called Summit and asked them to send me the pictures and notes they took, they told me that they don't have that information. You will take months going back and fwd with the insurance company, having to prove that the items were damage by the movers. This whole time, Summit is not in this process because they will tell you to deal with the insurance comany. The total estimated amount of damage they caused was close to $1000. I submitted the claim in July 2019 and Feb 2020, the insurance company sends me a settlement letter stating that they will only pay $72. These companies are a joke! DO NOT GO WITH THEM!! save yourself the hassle, do some reserach and choose a better moving company. The burden of proof will be put on you to go through their convoluted insurance process to only be dissapointed in the end. I did not sign the settlement, and I'm currently seeking legal advice. This has become personal to me

This is by far the best moving company I have ever worked with in a big city. These guys communicate everything, show up when they say they will, and always take care of our equipment. Summit Van Lines took care of an unexpected move for my 96 year old grandfather . Austin cheerfully met our somewhat complicated needs . He was very responsive by e - mail to several family members trying to coordinate the move . The move itself was efficient and courteous . We were so pleased with the service which made difficult time much easier . Many thanks to Austin and the team !

The guys and truck came on time as I requested, they were professional and friendly. The guys did an amazing job from start till end my belonging arrived safely to my new location and the price I paid were exactly what I was told by the agent who came to my house and gave me a binding cost. The moving process can be very stressful. The staff at Summit made the process easy and seamless. They contacted my building and arranged everything. The were on time and handled everything with care and professionalism. Anything I did not get packed, they packed on site and with care, as if my belongings were their own. The office staff and moving staff are all kind, pleasant, resourceful and overly helpful.

It is always a good time to bring back the bad experience and service provided by companies like this. I decided to put here the feedback I provided on another site (mymovingreviews.com) as I got an email from someone a few weeks ago saying that these people keeps on performing scams. Below the review, avoid this company for your own sake. This people shouldn't even be in the market. They are dishonest and they rather trust their employees instead of satisfying the customer needs. Summit Van Lines is a haven for Crooks. Had to move real fast and I thought that this people were serious, si I decided to pick them among a huge amount of companies that contacted me, In the beginning everything was right, they sent an estimator to check on the stuff and analyse the environmental factors like stairs and distances. At the end, the estimator told me it would take them 6 hours to move the stuff, which I though it was fair, so I called them next day to start the moving. At 9 sharp they were here, I liked their punctuality. I greeted the guy at my door and asked him to come in and start doing their things, but then the guy told me they needed to fill some "paperwork". During the first hour, this dude was just filling out papers and was not letting the other two guys work peacefully, they wasted a huge amount of time doing useless stuff then later this same individual started telling me that the estimation was not valid, since there were too many stairs to sort (***?). O told him the stairs never moved and it was a factor that the estimator saw the day before, so I didn't accept his argument. Later he told me it was raining, I had to call his boss, a guy called David who claims to be one of the owners of this ghost company. Their customer service was outrageous, he ended believing every single word the employee was telling him, he even told him in front of me that I had 3 TV sets when I had only one! I was complaining with their boss and the folk opened the door of the room I was into and stood in front of me because he wanted to hear my conversation, in my own house! I had to kick him out of the house after more and more problems, I ended calling the police to have this people removed from my property. Their boss preferred to leave all my stuff there and cancel everything instead of getting another worker to get the job done. The left everything outside, they broke some of my stuff, in conclusion, this people should not be handling other peoples goods, they should be in jail. It is not relevant to get into details about how many insults this people threw at me, they thought my wife didn't speak English and they revealed themselves by yelling how "this was a game for them and they could take up to ten hours doing that if they wanted, since we messed with the wrong guy" These are crooks, if you have a little respect for yourself, avoid them at all cost and get a real moving service. Names to take into consideration: - Reggie, the insulting guy who's job it's to make your moving a nightmare and spend the most amount of hours doing nothing else but make sure you pay more. If you ask too many questions and disagree with whatever he thinks, he will tell you "go suck my @#ing @ick", it happened to me today. - David, the owner. The customer is never right, he rather not serve you instead of assuming their employee's inappropriate behavior.

These guys were my knights in shining armour !!! They went above and beyond to insure my happiness and ease !!! Summit was AMAZING! Honestly, the movers came early and were extremely fast and organized in moving all of our furniture and belongings. We will be hiring Summit again to move us into our final destination! I 100% recommend them
